The hotel itself was great. However, 24/7 snack menu was advertised but basics were not available, food that was served was barely warm, tables were dirty and white wine served warm...

Helpful staff. Very clean and spacious hotel. Plenty of (free) parking. Nice breakfast.

No issues. Check in was seemless and room clean & tidy. Pool table a nice touch.

Hotel generally OK Breakfast a disaster....had to wait for items at different times....so had beans...then went for mushrooms,then eggs etc etc.... The evening bar was poorly stocked ..no Zero beer, no Whisky ..etc....

Hello the room was not clean and it was very dirty me and my partner had to wipe the surfaces downs as well as ask for some new pillows as the ones in the room had womens hair on it from previous stay i was bot happy at all and iam going to take this futher this is the second time this has happend

Poor unfriendly staff at check in - door card didn’t work the lifts - drugs being smoked in the corridor - very dirty windows and dusty room . Very uncomfortable sofa bed - blocked sink drain and poor water pressure. Dirty carpets and furniture. Very disappointing stay at the Hilton Blackburn on Saturday 11th Oct 2025

The shower flooded the bathroom floor, the drain was blocked. Water was flowing in to the bedroom area. We had to go to reception to get extra towels to mop up the water and to place on the floor so that we would not slip on the floor and to unblock the drain ourselves which was not very pleasant. Reception did say we should have called & they would have got maintenance, bit difficult when you’re soaking wet and very tired.

Room was very very dusty and the shower was dirty with limescale, we arrived and straight away got stuck in the toilet in the room due to a known fault, maintenance were quick to arrive and get the door open, said they would fix it the next day but didn’t. The buffet breakfast was ok but food was not replenished quickly at all and plates were dirty as well as the cups. Staff were pleasant enough and the room was sufficient, comfy bed and good wee fridge, air conditioning was good also. Plenty parking available too.

Check-in was quick and staff friendly. I was given a top floor room and first impression was it was big and had a nice looking shower room (no bath). When I started to look round the room, I noticed the net curtain at the window had a stain. The tea & coffee area was definitely not up to standard, the tray had dust, the kettle and glasses needed cleaning and the wall at the back was not clean. The shower looked great, but lacked water pressure. The cooked breakfast was again below standard, the hash brown was the worst I've had in any hotel. The orange juice was almost clear water. When I tried to check out, no staff on the desk, so I just left the key card on the desk and walked out. All in all not a great stay and definitely not worth paying a premium price.

My DD went into the shower but the plug hole had some sort of blockage, water seeped out from under and the door side. It was about 6 cm deep. She couldn't open the door as room would have flooded. The phone in the room was not plugged in as no socket. I ended up going down. Someone came but was like I can't go in there. Room was changed as DD was still wet and needed to wash products of. They had to split up so both girls had to go in one room, twin and I into another. Upon check out not even asked if stay was good as it said 100% satisfaction guaranteed which it clearly was not. Just took the keys, no eye contact as staff had been told issue with the room. Not even a Good morning. Rudeness. Caused issue for my DD so was up a fair bit into the night with her. Don't stay there. Also emailed them but no response

Lovely spacious rooms with a fridge which was ideal as the weather was warm. I was able to stock up on cold drinks x

Having a free car park on site was great. The bed was comfortable however the temperature control is the room is not great.

We liked the size, quietness and facilities of the bedroom.

It was a perfect hotel for a business trip - modern, clean and comfortable and well priced. The only issue I had was my room was opposite the lift so this did affect my sleep!

On the surface the hotel is lovely, bright and airy. The room was very nice, clean and well designed. Went for a bite to eat in the restaurant area. Had a burger and my partner had pie and chips. (Very limited choice). I am by no means a snob when it comes to food but thought over £40 was a bit steep for the dry burger and heated up pie. They had, it turned out run out of the extra sides we ordered. Asked us to choose another from the 3 sides on offer, which already came with the meal so didn’t really want to double up. Had already paid so said it was fine, can we just have a refund for the side, which was not offered as an option. Was told they would have to check if they could with the manager And so to bed! I thought I could literally sleep on a floor - and that’s unfortunately how it felt. The bed was hard to the point of having to lay the soggy pillows on the mattress to make the bed at least a little bit comfortable. There were no spare pillows so ended up using the cushions from the sofa. Breakfast was included and was nice. Good choice and nicely cooked. All in all not a bad stay - they just need to sort the beds out :-)

Stayed in a King Size room which was so lovely and comfortable. Lovely addition of fridge if you was staying longer or just wanted to put your own refreshments in.

Room was lovely and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Only downside was the sofa bed that my son slept in was exceptionally creamy and noisy everytime he moved, but other than that no complaints. Plenty of parking and nice breakfast too

I have never received such horrendous and rude customer service as I did from Caitlin during my stay. I arrived and it is not clear where the reception desk is as it looks like an extension of the bar - she shouted at me from across the lobby 'over here'. She then greeted me with 'what name is the booking in?' not a hello or how was your journey or even a please. I got to my room (i booked an accessible room) and found no spoons or stirrers to make a cup of tea with. i rang down and she answered and said they didn't do room service so i have to come down to get one - i felt as a single traveller in a accessibility room perhaps offering to bring me one seeing as it was a hotel issue that i didn't have one would be nice. i came down and asked her and she said they are over there in the breakfast area, i asked if she could please get me one and she rolled her eyes at me and said 'they are literally' over there. I was flabbergasted! this girl needs some customer service and disability awareness training immediately! the room was nice but the temperature control did not work so i was very hot all night and the pillows are ridiculously soft that they gave no neck support. i would not be rushing back and would not recommend to those requiring an accessible room!!!

Parking was easy and convenient. Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Blackburn - felt safe and was quiet location. Rooms were very ckean and well decorated. Bathroom was very clean. Check in was easy. Staff all seemed very nice.

Convenient at the motorway junction. Self service breakfast not to my liking. Too many people into the way.

This hotel is on a service park and rather isolated but near a major road junction. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Our accessible room was ok, clean but sparsely furnished. The hotel felt rather soulless. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 10am. We arrived at 9.30 most of the hot items were missing and not replaced. There was nobody around to ask for replacements. Very disappointing. I must say that our previous stay at this hotel was much better.

Nice, comfortable stay. Clean rooms with fun, stylish decor. Room/bathroom on the smaller side but everything you need is there. Enjoyed breakfast - particularly being able to make your own waffles. Lots of amenities nearby. Good parking on-site.

Lovely hotel, not much nearby to be honest, taxi Into Accrington or Darwen is only 10 minutes away, where there are great pubs and restaurants.

Rooms showing some wear, handle fell off drawer, shower was slow to drain and leaked onto the floor of bathroom. Staff were great from what we saw. Breakfast was mayhem, not enough staff or forks. Very busy and slow to replenish stocks.

Hotel was ok but service and food not so good. Very limited menu which is probably microwaved and food quality and portions very poor. Asked for the cheeseburger and it arrived without the cheese so waiter took in back to get the cheese and returned a couple of minutes later with it steaming hot as it had obviously been in the microwave. The meal was totally tasteless and presentation was nil ( see pic ) breakfast was a total shambles with the hot buffet running out of food and not getting topped up at regular intervals. I eventually got some breakfast and a cuppa but forgot my knife and fork so went to get them but when I returned to my table the waitress had taken my food and brew so had to start again. I won’t be staying again !!!!

Room was good. Comfortable Bed. Good shower. But the food needs to be better. Food was disappointing and very few options. A lot of people they want to get to a hotel. Get some decent food then get to bed ready for the next days work. But the food is not good enough. Breakfast was ok. Evening meal needs improving.

Stayed before and will again, only thing thats lets it down is the buffet breakfast, very little choice, they let the beans, plum tomatoes get down to bare minimum and dried before replacing, only scrambled eggs, which again weren't the best, it is included in the price and it shows. We were down more than an hour before end of service Shame really as everything else is good

How can a hotel that advetises it has a restaurant do so when they never have anything available? Wednesday night they had run out of half the menu, Thursday night they could only do a pizza. What kind of hotel runs out of till roll and does nothing about it? Why can't business travellers get a VAT receipt? Where else runs out of orange juice for breakfast service on Wednesday and can't get any by Friday? Surely just run to tesco or costco. This is a very poorly managed example of an already bad brand. Rooms are ok but menus are limited even before they run out of everything. I will need to have zero other options before I use a Hampton again

Nice enough hotel, rooms are very good, modern clean etc. Two issues really. 1, check in is always so slow. Reception staff are always juggling check ins with serving bar customers. 2, the menu for the restaurant is frankly terrible. Choice of Burger, Pasta or Curry. More people were ordering takeaway food and eating in the restaurant area than from the hotel itself.

The room was well decorated and furnished. The breakfast provision was not up to standard - food missing, crockery missing, tables not cleared. There was clearly a shortage of staff.

The hotel is modern with reasonable facilities and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast on this occaision was especially poor. The buffet was extremely poorly maintained, there were no pastries or croissants, no fruit. The hot food was not restocked, as vegetarians the menu is already limited, poor quality scrambled eggs, no tomatoes beans or mushrooms and the potatoes were cold. There was a clear absence of staff. In the past vegetarian sausages were offered.Tables are not cleared away. Staff should be visible during breakfast to ensure the buffet is stocked. The defence will no doubt be, it's a free breakfast, but the costs are of course covered by what is charged in the room rate.

No official restaurant. Very limited choice of food available to order. Limited fruit choice at breakfast and not well stocked.

Nice hotel, very clean and well maintained - only thing that lets it down is the quality of the food for the evening meals - very very basic and definitely not worth the money they charge for it. £18.95 for a burger and chips that looked like it was made in a late night kebab shop!
