The room was very nice with a balcony great views, room was very clean and spacious. There was a loose metal strip (carpet tread) that was loose, which could be a hazard. minor fix. but the room itself was very very nice. and great location with great views, lovely walk along the water front. parking can be a bit awkward when you first arrive as its not very clear where you go or wait whilst you go up and check in and get a parking pass if you have organized parking with the hotel. but when you do it is very safe and secure. with the couple of minor things mentioned, I would still definitely book again 100% and with a balcony river view.

Very nice hotel, safe, quiet, nice rooms only draw back is limited parking.

pros -housekeeping were fantastic and helpful -complimentary nespresso coffee -close to cbd, ubers were somewhat affordable cons -wet corridor -parking was reserved but spot was often taken by other guests. be aware of the parking fee also -tv chromecast wasnt working -sink is quite small -in house restaurant is just okay, nothing spectacular

The Staff were excellent and the steak meal was awesome the only problem was you have to make sure you get a parking spot We had to park down the street wasn’t happy with that

While there were minimal parking space available within the hotel, there are plenty of affordable parking near the hotel that feels relatively safe since it is near UWA. Generally convenient with a short car ride to the city centre that has plenty of food and groceries options.

A beautiful building however, the room backed onto a highway with road noise, the air-conditioning system controls not functioning properly, parking was a hassle (only 9 spaces for the whole property) and staff missed room service. An uncomfortable stay.

This place is a bit wacky but overall not too bad Things to note... Make sure you have parking booked with the hotel before you arrive otherwise you're going to end up in the roads outside. They only have 9 available You're in the grounds of UWA so expect to drive to any shops as there's nothing around the hotel Entry corridor to rooms is open air meaning it's a bit noisy from the traffic below and you do get to smell what's cooking in the kitchen that night yay Music in the alfresco can get loud especially since they think it's a good idea to turn it on at 6:30 in the morning even when no one is there Luckily it was turned down after day 2 Breakfast is good and the staff generally friendly View from the upper levels is great

The entrance was a bit hard to find but understand a signage will be ready soon. A very lovely stay and I will definitely come back.!

Was hard to find due to lack of signage. There's not even a street number on the building to help you out. They messed up our parking (parking $25 per day) although I had rung and booked parking, it hadn't been done. Frustrating start. The staff were excellent and we left very satisfied with our stay. Would stay there again if we need to stay down to Perth. Close to Bethesda, Hollywood, childrens hospital and Charlies.

Excellent in every department except on site parking. We were advised that they only had 8 available bays for 66 rooms. We had a great stay.

Excellent customer service , view is fantastic. Just the house keeping wasn’t up to standard. All towels were put on the bathroom bench instead of the towel rack, they didn’t fold them properly and looked like used ones. Water bottle wasn’t refilled. Coffee cup and capsules weren’t put back properly.

Good location and good design of property. Entry and exit from drop off zones was clumsy. Access to lobby should be from street level. We called twice from the room regarding the coffee machine with no pick up from reception. We left a msg prior to check in and requested a call back - none received. Cleaning staff knocked on door at 9am and asked if we were leaving when check out is 10am! Cleaning of room not thorough - staining on bedside table, shower cap package had dirty marks and toilet floor was unswept. Photos taken. Overall, a very ORDINARY experience.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful position. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful. The only downside is the lack of on site parking. However in the end I was able to find all day parking on the street so if you’re ok with leaving your vehicle outside overnight it’s not a huge problem

The room itself was comfortable, warm, clean, serviced daily by housekeeping with the added bonus of lovely complimentary Mr Smith Body and Hair products. The location on Matilda Bay is beautiful and it is extremely convenient to University of WA.

New Hotel along Swan river - love the modern aesthetic, however some amenities were lacking (toiletries - cotton pad/toothbrush/toothpaste etc were lacking). Staff also did not refill the water provided in the glass bottle. Appreciated the friendly and welcoming front desk receptionist during check in and check out!

Good new hotel with nice responsive staff. A few suggestions: - breakfast starts too late (7am) needs to start earlier - there are little to no signs outside the hotel or inside (not a big deal just a little confusing at first) - needs a label for the ‘on’ button for the aircon -pillows too firm/high - request a room not on the roadside (a bit noisy with cars) Otherwise really good and excellent location if you are needing to get to University or Kids hospital.

Air con is not good and hardly cools room , constantly had mosquitoes in the room every night. Hard to sleep but the service was good

Beautifully designed room, excellent toiletries provided, enjoyed balcony overlooking Swan River, sunrises and sunsets. Stunning location near the UWA on the right, city of the left. Perfect location to visit the UWA. Staff were very helpful, courteous and respectful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be a repeat guest.

The service was excellent. Every single person I spoke to was friendly and willing to help, very thoughtful staff who go above and beyond to make sure im enjoying my time there. Every interaction made me feel welcome and valued. Will be returning very shortly!

unaware that I held membership while attempting to promote a membership attached to upgrades. bathroom toiletries almost empty - requiring refill. no answer when calling reception for assistance in the evening due to staffing shortfalls.

Due to last minute changes in my itinerary, I had booked a last minute stay at this hotel, and when I arrived (11:30pm), the doors were closed, and eventually managed to talk with reception via an intercom system. With a non-interested rude voice, the man at reception simply said I cannot see your booking and to go away, even though I was trying to show the booking reservation confirmation and number through the camera of the intercom. I was discarded and sent away without trying to help, and due to the time of night, I was forced to sleep in my car. Be cautious...

Friendly staff

Checking in was disgraceful! I was told room not ready so i asked if i can pay, no but will phone when its ready! Still waiting but deduct money for room! Eventually checking in and not explained properly that the door keys doesn’t work and have to go to level one every time you want to enter the room to get an employee to open your door! Didn’t even know it was a public holiday on the Monday! We tried calling the reception to find out for restaurant bookings, no answer and rang out! Had to complete a form with 3 options for room attendance, and they havent even attended one day and had to go back to reception to get housekeeping in to at least change our towels! The telly couldnt even go to chromecast in order to watch anything else other than normal telly! We booked parking and on the Monday one of the employees came down to take a photo of our car rego, why still unclear! Have two lights for reading by the bed and hit my head against it twice - not very safe! Staff not very friendly - check in young lady was talking to me as if Im dumb, then another guy who took the photo of our car rego never smiles and looks unfriendly, even to scared to ask for anything! The employees doesn’t explain to the guest properly about the key card access as we found other guests who didn’t know either and we had to explain to them! Didn’t even get a discount for the inconvenience of the key cards! The only good things are the view and electronic doors. When check out the guy was friendly!

Overall, the hotel was okay. Clean, modern, and the location was next to UWA, where we needed to be every day. Not close to downtown or other services such as restaurants, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant or order out. My main issue was that there wasn't a printer available for guests. Due to flight delays caused by bad weather, we had to stay longer after the 10:00 am checkout (until 7:30 pm) and were charged a full day (at a higher rate), despite the staff not understanding the situation and not prorating the charge. Disappointing,

Next to Kings Park & UWA; great views and walking and convenient to Perth.

Modern Hotel located close to the University of Western Australia with parking & lovely lake views. Peaceful.

Breakfast lovely, continental plus you chose one hot dish - ample food and everything carefully prepared and presented. Love the refills of sparkling water! Close to the city, watch the sailing boats from the yacht club. For me, the only thing was, bring so close to UWA, there were students about at night outside, which was all quiet both nights by 12 but a little late for this light sleeping old lady. Also, the hotel has very little parking so I had to street park both nights which I didn't like - book ahead for the parking and that will be fine. Overall, lovely stay, standout furnishings and style.

New stunning hotel, great service all around, beautiful high end room, excellent breakfast and practical location for discovering everything Perth has to offer, don’t hesitate to book a room here

Property and staff couldn’t be faulted. No afternoon and evening meals available during our stay for some reason! Parking was a nightmare due to our vehicle being bit larger than average. Overall a clean hotel.

We stayed at Wonil on 2 separate occasions recently and would thoroughly recommend it. The decor is delightful with a subtle indigenous flavour and beautiful use of timber. The staff are excellent, very attentive & friendly. Parking is expensive but well worth the convenience. Breakfast is simple but lovely.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent and food high quality. Beautiful place to be in

We arrived after a 12 hour flight (and 24 hour delay) hoping to just have meal and drink at hotel which reception confirmed we had time to do but within 10 mins of arrival, kitchen decided to close early. Kitchen and bar are also not open after 10am (breakfast) on sundays. Hotel is lovely and comfortable and has fantastic views but would have been nice to access food and refreshments as residents.

Our stay was perfect, was luxurious and the bed was so comfy. Also our view towards the water was even better. Loved waking up to the view, breakfast was delicious and all the staff were really helpful and friendly. My partner and I will definitely be staying again next time!
