Was ok. Decent for the price. The shuttle service is confusing, not 'on demand' as the website notes. We were quoted a 30 minute wait for a shuttle, took an Uber in less than 10 mins, but cost us another $20. Lame shuttle service makes for a bad start to the stay.

There was a hockey team staying in the hotel at the same time as I was and at 7 am they had small children running up and down the hall screaming. Then the pool was closed the Saturday night, and our room had no hot water to shower on Sunday morning! I had emailed the hotel with my complaints and never even received an acknowledgment of the email. Poor experience, and won’t be staying again!

Airport shuttle was great and convenient. The staff was very helpful with allowing us to stay in the lobby while the airlines were cancelling flights. The staff was very kind. The location was close to the airport and although it is in an industrial area, there is a long walking path which helped pass the time. As negatives, breakfast was not great, coffee cream was not provided at all, only milk and egg and cheese omelette was offered and that was not good. Simple scramble egg would be the best - of course breakfast was the standard bag egg etc. We had booked this hotel because it had transportation from the airport - a must, however, while we were there, many guests were arriving to find out they were at the wrong location as there seems to several other Holiday Inn Express in the area - this was a frustrating process for many! Be aware of the actual address of your hotel - this location is the only one with transportation!!! Several guests showed up to find out they were not staying with their group.

We had issues with our plumbing draining, and it was spring break unfortunately so going to the pool was out of the question. Plus the lack of towels in the pool made all the floors slick for my frail mother in law.

Pros are the rooms are very clean and nice and spacious, bathrooms are large. Watch out for the very slippery tub. Super convenient for the airport. Huge negative is not enough parking for hotel guests and we had to park on the street. If I had known parking would be an issue we would not have picked this hotel.

Hotel was OK at best. Not very good value for money. The pool deck was already dirty with lots of hair all over the place. Not very appealing. The biggest disappointment was the extreme lack of towels. No pool towels and nowhere near enough towels for the room. When we asked for one towel per person the front desk agent looked at us as if we had asked for 100 towels and told us they were fully booked and it was simply impossible to give us THAT MANY towels. Every time we went to the pool we checked and no towels. Go to front desk and ask for towels….same song and dance. Just not possible to provide any towels because they are fully booked. With 15 to 20 people in the pool needing towels, a maximum of 3 towels were brought by housekeeping. Another time 2 towels and a few times none were ever provided.

Upon arrival both beds in the rooms had soiled /stained sheets…. I immediately went to desk for a new room…. Not even one apology and we got a new room. When we arrived into the new room it also has soiled linens… for a room with two queens beds we only got 2 towels. Towels were also stained and there was hair on bathroom floor. At this point it was 10:00pm and we had a super early flight so I was over asking for a new room.when we asked the front desk for a wine glass and bottle opener they also didn’t have that. The breakfast was the only thing in that hotel that was decent! We will never stay here again

The beddings had stains all over. Quick stay to catch some shuteye before an early morning flight. It is inconvenient to have toilets both in the lobby and the bedroom that won’t flush with enough water no matter how much it’s pushed down. The water pressure is a letdown.

Hey, so I gave this hotel a lower review because the pool was dirty never any towels in the pool. Room had a weird smell not like a normal hotel smell. Breakfast was decent. But also you gotta expect that for the price.

It was very difficult to get towels to the room, i told staff there were 4 people in the room and how are we to share 2 towels among 4 people. I also witness the cleaners not changing bedding when cleaning room, blankets were reused for the next people to book the room, I found that nasty. The breakfast each day, there was never food each time going down. Was not happy! The noise each night was ridiculous!! Kids running the hallway, slamming the doors. Very unsatisfied

We arrived at the hotel after a late flight to find our room door left ajar. Upon entering, we were shocked to discover multiple, what appeared to be fresh, blood stains on the bed cover, sheets, and pillowcases. Thankfully, after some persuasion, the hotel quickly offered us a room change. The front desk staff was not very accommodating when we requested a late checkout (just one hour, given we arrived after midnight and didn’t settle in with our children until 2AM). Additionally, I was told there would be no airport shuttles after 10:40AM and wasn’t provided with any alternative options. However, when I went to the desk to check out, I was offered the airport shuttle—but only after I approached them, as they hadn’t called me back with any updates. A family member who arrived at the same time was granted both the late checkout and shuttle service right away, which made the service feel inconsistent. The staff’s tone also came across as unfriendly. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this hotel.

First room i got the PTAC (AC unit) wax so loud and vibrating badly, requested new room, had to ho get keys from reception, no offercto bring them. Next room it was still noisy but not too bad. Found the bed was stained and with hairs in it was questional if it had even been cleaned from last guest. I called down, they offered new sheets, but i declined as it was made clear id have to remake the bed. Breakfast was some over cooked, dry burnt scrambled eggs, with wooden forks and paper plates. The hotel fell very short of what i expect from a Holiday Inn, there are plenty of options around this area, and I'd suggest you try those. This hotel is abysmal. And as per usual when booked through Expedia you are SOL for any compensation. Reception was abandoned at checkout.

Unfortunately this was not a great stay for us. The hallways were terribly smelly. Maybe it was just our floor (2nd). I took my daughter to the pool, and immediately noticed there were no towels, so ended up waiting about 10 minutes for pool towels (not the end of the world…better to notice and wait before than after!) Once we got to the pool deck, I noticed it was so gross. The pool deck was full of hair and bandaids and debris. Also had to ask the front desk for more towels for our room. They were short at checkout, but when I asked for more, the staff seemed annoyed and gave some sort of excuse for not having enough. There were several other people at the front desk requesting towels too. I never was brought any. Breakfast was pretty standard, no real complaints with the food, but the counters were sticky and the tables weren’t clean. It seems that there may be a staff shortage problem. Which is too bad. There are many hotels in that area, so I will just skip this one for future stays.

We got into our room to find the AC wasn’t working. I called the front desk. The manager came up and said “oh. You weren’t supposed to get this room”. And gave us a different room. Rooms were spacious. The black out curtains were nice

Only 2 towels provided for 4 people. Had to ask for more and was questioned why we needed 4 towels. Next day, and for the rest of our stay housekeeper never replaced extra towels only leaving 4 people 1 towel to share. So many trips to front desk. Also, pool had no towels and they acted like it was our fault. Had to walk to front desk dripping wet. Seems like there is a laundry issue. Housekeeper also left someone else’s hair all in our bathroom, didn’t replace coffee/tea, and removed extra paper cups we got from reception. Elevator is slow.

Very poor customer service. I booked a room for 4 people(Myself, Wife, 2 kids) and they only provided 2 towels in my room. I went and talked to the front desk to ask for more and they refused to give me. They told me to share the 2 towels between the 4 of us. The front desk then said “We don”t have enough towels at the moment and you guys can share, it is not my problem that there are 4 of you”. This location has very poor customer service and lack of staff training. Employees like this gives a bad rep to Holiday Inn and It is unfair for the other employees who are sincere good at their job.I was suppose to stay at this location for 3 nights but checked out the following morning and looked for another hotel. I hope this message reaches their head office and the Regional Manager.

Receptionist at check in was short and not friendly. Had issues and was overbilled. Told it was the tax but went through third party and was told it would be resolved at the property as i was quotes all taxes in to be a lot lower. Nothing got resolved.

Their system was down so they couldn't take security deposits or program keys. This was about 11pm. There were about a dozen of us who had pre-paid for our room but they would not check us in. Eventually another guest convinced them to photocopy our ID and credit cards and let us into our rooms around midnight. I called at 10pm for the airport shuttle and they would just hang up. Eventually someone answered and said they'd be there at 10:30. No one came. I paid for a cab there around 10:50. I stay by Calgary airport 1-3x month. This was my first and last time booking this hotel.

Big rooms and clean. Tap in shower however had a steady drip that was annoying until we cloaed the bathroom door while sleeping. Front desk was alerted. The one downfall is the lack of eats available by foot. Definitely some places within 5mins of driving but not much close within 5 mins of walking.

Great hotel. The room was awesome and so quiet.The parking was terrible, the lot was full and we had to park on the street. The breakfast needs to open earlier. We had an appt at 730am and the breakfast doesn't start till 7am. There was 13 people waiting for it to open on a Saturday morning. Not ideal if you have a family that is staying for sports.
