Scarborough Hill Country Inn

On arrival the young man was very friendly and helpful . For us the room we had was a bit small for 3 adults and there wasn’t enough storage space in the bathroom for toiletries but next time we will book the suite or the cottage . It wasn’t set up for 3 people either with drinks cups glasses or towels but once we asked they were put in our room straight away . We had tea and scones when we arrived which were delicious. We had evenings meals both evenings which were absolutely amazing. Both days breakfasts were brilliant too . The selection of food was beyond our expectations and the quality of the food especially our fillet steaks was outstanding. Our compliments to the chef . We look forward to staying there again .

Beautiful hotel set in a stunning location. Very warm and cosy decor throughout the hotel and rooms. luxury bedlinen and Elemis bathroom products. All the staff were wonderful, so welcoming and attentive. Five star breakfast with an extensive choice of hot and cold food. Would definitely go back.

We had a great trip to the Hotel. Food and accommodation was first class. The staff always very helpful and very knowledgeable.

We have had a wonderful relaxing stay at Scarborough country inn. The breakfast and evening meal were a delight, so tasty and well presented delicious food. The hotel is dog friendly and made us feel really welcome. We will definitely return.

Lovely small hotel in beautiful grounds we had the Hamilton suite and it was perfect, Elemis products, deep bath plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuit etc bottled water refreshed daily. The dining area is very cosy, candle lit in the evening giving it a warm feel, food was amazing and all freshly prepared served by friendly staff. We had Sunday lunch the three roast and although it was a bit pricy it was well worth the money, sticky toffee pudding after was huge! If I lived closer I’d definitely have to have Sunday roast regularly. Great selection of continental breakfast and cooked breakfast which is individually cooked for you and worth the wait. There is a play area for the children, outside table tennis, sun beds and plush seating outside, plenty of parking to the rear. This is a dog friendly Inn so just be mindful if you are not a dog person as dogs are allowed in the dining area at times. Reception is not maned during the night but emergency telephone numbers available. The only negative I have is there was a small yapping dog of one of the guests which did disturb us occasionally during the stay the larger dog were no problem!
