Arrive sits on a great piece of property. It’s somehow right in the heart of downtown Wilmington, yet also just removed enough to not be overly bombarded by the sounds of the night life. The multiple buildings are tied together with a well manicured and sprawling courtyard. The courtyard has an outdoor gazebo bar that makes excellent drinks on a rotating menu. The rooms have an outdoor entrance but have access to a shared pourch that is furnished with comfortable rocking chairs. It makes for a great place to sip on a cocktail or your morning coffee. This place is a real gem and will likely be the first place I look to stay when I travel to Wilmington going forward.

Quiet, clean boutique hotel. Beds were very comfortable, fridge stocked with plenty of drinks (for a price) also snacks available (for a price). Minus point for not having a coffee/tea maker in the room. But I guess they want you to use the restaurant attached to the hotel, Dram Yard, which had an excellent avocado toast. Lovely landscaped courtyard with lots of spots to sit and relax or enjoy a drink.

The attractive interior decor and cozy outdoor spaces combine to create a refreshing experience. We would have preferred to have complimentary self-parking but Valet service was the only option. Parking is $26 daily. Morning coffee in the lobby was excellent but individual in-room coffee makers would have been preferred considering that you must walk outside to reach the lobby. Thankfully the weather was not an issue and we could easily navigate the stairs from our second floor room. No elevator is available. The $15 daily resort fee is annoying since there is no pool. They provide one complimentary drink coupon at check-in to help compensate for the expense. The ambiance at the Gazebo bar was charming. The location of the property is excellent! Very easy walk to several restaurants, shops, historic sites, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.

Didn't like the limited parking with only a valet parking option. Really enjoyed the courtyard atmosphere, the quiet/secluded feel, yet right in the city, and the gazebo bar open until 10 pm.

Great property. Super close to everything in downtown Wilmington. Only downside is there is no elevator, and the quietest rooms are on the top floor. Be forewarned if you have bas knees.

This newly appointed hotel has stylish rooms with quality finishes. The bathroom design is cheerful with sink area outside. The star of the show is the lovely courtyard grounds. This outside space offsets the smaller footprint of the room with muliple seating areas and fireplaces. The cheerful garden bar and bartender are set closer to the restaurant and so don't intrude. Dram Yard was excellent we had a dinner and breakfast and were impressed by both. The valet service was much more than parking. These staff were diligent and very helpful. It was more of a watchful doorman which served to make us feel very safe.

The hotel was beautiful, loved the fire pits. Everyone was very helpful and we had a great stay. Our room had a lot of charm and bed was comfy. We were able to walk everywhere. I was a bit off put by the $26 +tip valet parking fee which I must have missed in the description. I would definately stay again but would park in the public lot nearby with a cheaper fee.

Safe and clean which is of course expected. Walking distance to everything but on the edge of Historic Wilmington, just blocks from the river/ riverwalk. Would recommend to anyone visiting Wilmington. Has to be the best place in town!

A ridiculously expensive stay at what felt like a motel renovated to be hip. Our room was never cleaned. There was no closet, just a hip-height bar to hang pants from. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel without a place to hang a dress… there was nowhere to put anything. The finishes were starting to peel throughout the room. The walls were paper thin. Like others, we had to request refunds for charges that were not ours after checking out. The hotel grounds were cute, and the location was nice, but the price tag did not remotely match the experience. Housekeeping was weirdly standoffish. A very strange stay!

I had a great stay. The property was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, I requested my room to be cleaned only one day during my 4-night stay and it was never done. I was also woken up multiple times throughout the night/early morning a couple of nights to loud noises above me.

Their management is very poor. We noticed a lot of dust and hair on the flowers right after we checked in, and requested cleaning the next day, but it was never done. During our four-night stay, we asked twice for dusting and vacuuming, yet nothing was ever cleaned. The staff were friendly, but they mistakenly charged me for someone else’s room service and never apologized when we called to address the issue. The real problem seems to be a lack of proper training and oversight from management. While the hotel itself had charm, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful and made sure to communicate with us via text every step of the way. The food and service at the restaurant was simply awesome. The rooms are adorable but our bathroom could have been cleaner. There was pee on the toilet seat when we arrived and the floors had footprints on them. The area around the hotel is good and just a block from the main downtown area; 2-3 blocks from the RiverWalk. A lot of great stores and restaurants in the area.

Brand new and very nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Great location. Cute property with hang out areas and nice restaurant. However, I wasn’t greeted upon entering reception area, and there were multiple staff members with their backs to me hanging around the desk. I felt like i was intruding by trying to check in. The room felt very clean initially but then i noticed a few hairs on the shower wall, and the small lotion near the sink (that they give to you) had been used and was half empty. I also saw there was someone else’s eye glasses left on the floor just barely under the bed.

During check-in, there were surprise fees. When I got to the room someone else's belongings, including used soaps and razors in the shower, were still there making me wonder if they cleaned the room between guests. I understand their logic with the valet fees due to limited parking, however, I went and picked up my own car and saw that it's really a waste. The restaurant's menu is quite limited. I finally met someone truly personable who worked at the Zebra bar and the property itself is charming so I was happy to experience that but not enough to book a room there again.

What a gem. I will be returning to this property close to everything and everyone who works here is helpful and friendly. I had a problem with HVAC noise and they moved me to another room. The TV in that room was not working so they counted my valet parking for the entire trip. The location cannot be beat.

It was a cute idea, but our bedroom faced the street so it was a bit noisy. We asked for a king room, but were "upgraded" to a suite. However, it was a queen bed and we were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The shower glass was so.clean l almost walked into it.

Arrive is a cute, boutique style hotel with nice amenities, comfortable bed and linens; however, the noise level was very high with loud ppl in the courtyard late into the evening and elements of the city activities. I was not able to get any sleep in the 2 days that I stayed.

We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard with firepits and the gazebo bar. Our ground floor room was comfortable and nicely decorated. We had issues with getting cold water from the sink faucet and it was a bit noisy as you could hear guests walking above us. I would recommend staying on the higher floor if you can do the stairs. The location could not have been better.

The room was very small and you didn’t have anything to sit on except the bed. The bed seemed to have something broken in it because it made loud noises everytime you moved. The staff were friendly but for $300/night I expect more.

Charged me $46+ for bar snacks even though I didn’t even touch any snacks. If you decide to stay at this bad/shady hotel, make sure you take many photos of the bar snacks as soon as you check in to protect yourself. They will more than likely try to illegally charge you for them. It’s either room service stealing them or the hotel is doing illegal billing. I will be reporting Arrive Wilmington hotel.

I’ve stayed at Arrive Wilmington many times. There is ALWAYS an issue… yes, literally always. You’ll either be fraudulently charged for overpriced ‘bar snacks’ even if you don’t touch them… or you’ll be fraudulently charged for ‘valet’ even if you never used it & self parked in a city deck. I believe they are hoping you overlook these scam charges. During my last stay, I paid extra to book the loft room weeks in advance and then upon arrival, was told it was unavailable. I had to fight for the refund I was owed for the price differences. The room did not have working AC and the humidity was 79% in the room. Avoid the headache and stay at ANY other hotel in Wilmington.

Staff was super nice and very accommodating. My room had been incredibly cleaned and included some nice personal touches like snacks and drinks. The complimentary drink from the next door bar was also enjoyable I do have to comment on the nice interior design too - iss cute or whateva ;) Super close to a small convenience store and plenty of restaurants / bars. Basically, you should book here!

Repeat visit celebrating our anniversary and Arrive once again did not disappoint! Fantastic location downtown Wilmington and within walking distance of the best shopping and dining. We once again used the bar/ restaurant and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. The valet service is convenient and fast with as many in and outs as one desires. We will be back!

Love the updates to this hotel! Decor is beautiful and love the thoughtful extras (umbrella, makeup washcloths and additional toiletries, bathrobe, steamer). Grounds are also beautiful and there is cornhole. Had dinner at the restaurant (Dram Yard) and the duck breast was superb.

Darling boutique hotel. Loved the room and outdoor space. Cute little outdoor bar. Unexpected live music in the evening. Sad that the restaurant was closed Monday nights when we were there. We did have an issue with our AC unit which was frustrating and made for a restless nights sleep:( Over all it was clean but I do not believe our bathroom floor was swept and mopped because there was a lot of black long hairs and neither of us have long black hair:/

Wonderful property. Very friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant makes a mean breakfast burrito. This property is very dog friendly. The only problem I had was the person above me was very heavy footed and had a dog and I could hear them walking around all night so try to get a room on the third floor.

Really nice unique hotel. The grounds are pretty and there are so many spots for small groups to sit and have a drink. Fire pits scattered all over. Would be so fun with a group of friends. Attached restaurant had a delicious breakfast. We were sorry we didn’t eat dinner there too. Will come back with friends hopefully.

Many tasteful details! Charming place but I was disappointed with service. I requested down free bedding and was pro.ised such, but in fact had an allergic reaction to the bedding. Also, our room was never cleaned during our visit and one morning the chef just didn't show for breakfast.
