Beautiful, historical B&B, decorated mid-century modern, close to downtown and walking distance to restaurants. The property has lush vegetation making it feel very private. When we arrived at 5:30 pm we had to ring doorbell and was greeted by remote host who explained all the codes to enter were sent via text. Once we entered we were able to access our room. We also found out at arrival that there was only street parking for up to an hour without a permit. So we had to figure out nearby streets to park overnight after arriving from a long journey. The other option was to pay for a $25 permit. Great location and walkable to nearby restaurants and shops. Our room was clean, but two lightbulbs were out. We had to text to request a code to access the cable tv, but did not receive a response in evening hours. The breakfast on the morning was absolutely delicious and our host was very friendly and helpful answering questions about the area. She even accommodated our request for a map and taking tea “on the go.” Overall, it was perfect for our one night to crash. The place could use some property updates, but it did not deter us from returning again in the future.

We’ve stayed here twice now because of how peaceful the property is. The rooms themselves are well styled with most items you may find yourself needing like a steamer or hairdryer. This location is also perfect for being within walking distance of downtown without having to stay downtown where it can be quite noisy.

Staff were wonderful. Room was clean. In general, the bedroom & bathroom would benefit from a refresh.

Beautiful rooms, great garden, and an amazing host! I booked the romantic room and it was perfect for a proposal. Champagne, fruit and cheese board was lovely. She said YES! We both woke up to a perfect breakfast.
