Everything around the property was walking distance. The staff were very polite and courteous. I really appreciate the fact that there was a valet watching over the parked cars all day and night

Parking is expensive

Beautiful hotel. Couple of drawbacks, restaurant was closed due to a faulty boiler. Tried to find ice, broken ice machines on 2 floors and front desk was not helpful. Mold in the shower and basin. Bar was nice and bartender was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again, they just need to improve on a few things.

There is no parking on site except for limited valet spaces. There is a pay to park public parking garage behind the hotel but I received a parking ticket while parking there.

If you want your car broken into then stay at this hotel. Or pay $30 valet every day just to keep your car safe . Hotel manger didn’t help. Three cars in total broken into at this hotel no one did nothing not the police or the city and best part there is no cameras on site. Not safe at all knowing people can throw a size of a soccer ball rock at your window.

Even with “parking” advertised I was not able to find a place for my car towing a small u haul trailer. Then they refused to refund my money when I couldn’t stay.

Good property in a good area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected and nothing too crazy. The only parking for the hotel is valet otherwise you have to park on the street which kinda sucked. I would also skip on the breakfast. Overall not a bad place to stay and close to a lot of good dinning and nightlife.

There were ant's in my room, coming from the refrigerator area. Not just a few, from check in to check out. An unreasonable colony of ant's, which definitely changed my entire review.

The overall location is decent and there are several restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the lobby and bar area is nice. When we checked in, we had reserved two king rooms and were told they weren’t available and all they had were two queen rooms. My husband is 6’4” and this did not work for us. They had some conversation at the front desk, and a king room was then available. They offered $10 per day vouchers to use at the hotel for not having the reserved rooms available. The parking is under the freeway behind the hotel, and there were homeless people nearby or the option was to pay $30 for valet per day. Our friends ended up in a double queen room, and had blood stains on the sheets in one of the beds. In our room, there was no soap in the shower and the shower leaked all over the floor in the room as if it was not sealed correctly. This was all relayed to the front desk.

I stayed here with friends after a week doing business in the city for a bit of rest and relaxation at the wineries. The hotel is in a great location and is very clean and pleasant to stay at.

It was very clean. The rooms were updated fresh and bright. There were modern amenities in the room. The microwave was clean. The refrigerator was clean and modern.. when we were arrived, we were helped out by the valet Parker, who was very kind and helpful. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. Also, we enjoyed our stay.

We came to Santa Rosa to attend a wedding. The dress code was semi formal. My dress was sequined and floor length. After showering the bathroom completely flooded - I needed to get dressed in the bathroom. A maid came with tons of towels to mop up. We felt sorry for her. I was able to dress in the dried out room. We had to change rooms - we didn't like the room for other reasons as well. The next room, which we had to pay for also flooded after we showered.

The hotel is only feet from US 101, a very busy highway. The rooms that were large enough were very noisy because of the highway. The rooms that were quiet enough were very small, with no clear boundary between the bed area and the bathroom. We changed from a noisy to a small room.

Nice modern hotel and rooms

Had to move twice to find a room quiet enough to sleep in. Freeway about 100 feet from guest rooms. Windows have divets from rocks flying off freeway. Hotel staff was 100% lovely and did their best. Breakfast was pretty good. Location is good. Parking attendants were a bit off, eating in the rental car and left someone else’s keys in vehicle.

I did not care for the room. Limited privacy with the design and it was very noisy right outside our window.

Desk clerk was prof, friendly and attentive. However we were confirmed for a room with a king bed. Upon checking in, we received a double queen. To compensate, the desk clerk said he’d make sure we got a quiet room. It was on the 4th floor and quiet in terms of other guests, but it backed onto the freeway which was not quiet. I’d have given a 5-star rating otherwise.

We stayed over on Thanksgiving night. Check in was easy, the staff courteous and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were excellent.

Room was very small and bathroom sink was in main area. The shower had very low water pressure and the HVAC system sounded like a train rumbling through the night. Bed did not seem like it a King and more like a Queen size. When complaining to front desk they said water pressure is low for the whole area and hotel was sold out so they could not move us to another room.

This property was next to freeway it was so loud they need better windows. It was impossible to sleep it felt like you were sleeping under the freeway.

I love the stylish and well thought out rooms. Our room overlooked Highway 101 and you couldn’t hear the noise at all.

We booked a king bed room. When we got there the staff said sorry we over booked we are giving you two queens. Not I’m sorry, how can we make this right, nothing. Not cheaper either. My husband and I slept in separate beds as they were more of a full/queen size. Customer service is lacking here. The property is nice and clean so it’s a shame that the staff can make or break the experience. I also added the breakfast option when booking on Expedia and the staff said no you didn’t and did not honor my purchase. Poor visit all together

Asked for quiet room. Got corner noisy room overlooking freeway. Asked for daily housekeeping. No housekeeping the first day after arrival. The floor was very sticky. Toilet got plugged, we were given a plunger to use. Asked for directions and got wrong information twice . The staff is not caring just act like robots. Will never return.

This is the most dishonest hotel I have had the displeasure of paying to stay at in a long time. Our check in at 4pm, which we called ahead to confirm, was then pushed back to 5pm after we had already arrived. The hotel hadn’t even started cleaning the room. The check-in agent at the desk was absolutely the worst. She did not greet me or any other guest and made us start the conversation. She did not offer any assistance in pointing out where the luggage carts were hiding in a corner. After an hour of waiting for our room I had to go back up to her and ask if the room was ready to which she replied, oh yeah it’s been ready. I pressed the question, “when did you know that?” And she said oh actually ai just learned now that it is ready. We had been sitting in front of her the whole time. The worst part of the hotel though was the King bed Terrace room that we paid a premium for. The bed is a Queen! I was so astonished I actually had to measure it myself. The manager declined to adjust our rate for the first night but gave us a very small discount for the remaining two nights. The hotel still lists these rooms as having a king bed. I am going to submit this information to the BBB as well since this is an illegal business practice. The room wasn’t very clean. The door to the terrace has a very specific way to close and lock it that we could not figure out. Lastly the shower leaked out badly and into the room. We had to use every towel possible to dam it up.

Very professional staff, from check-in to valet attendents to housekeeping.

We were in town for a family event thats started at 4pm. We were hoping for an early check in so we could shower and get dressed but were told that was not possible 4pm was check in, end of conversation. We did not shower and changed clothes at the event returning to the hotel at 11:30pm for our check in.

Awesome staff

I had a terrible check in. I hardly can believe after using Marriott chain for last 10y and promoting it to my friends, I will face such attitude from the staff. We had a room with terrace booked but they gave us a different room for lower price and didn’t tell us anything. They we complained, they admitted that the room with terrace isn’t available due to bla bla. Why didn’t you tell us anything?? What is this? They new that ahead of time and didn’t communicate. Then upon escalation to the manager Madison, they “kindly” agreed to return us the price difference. Also, originally they offered us 10-20$ return. At that time I recalled that price difference was around 50$, I checked online on business day the difference was 43$. No courtesy was provided. We thought may due to this awful experience Marriott would want look better to our eyes but apparently not. Later, I had to spend time with Expedia to refund the sum. Expedia support was very good. Hotel staff however puts the shadow on the whole chain. I would recommend hotel directors to demote Madison. Being manager myself I understand that you need to have a little bit more responsibility to be in the position.

The property was nice. However when we arrived they gave us a room that’s was already occupied. Then they gave us an ADA room stayed for two nights and our room wasn’t cleaned once and we had to call down for towels. Went to dinner came back and our keys didn’t work. They had checked us out early.

Good basic hotel for Santa Rosa. In downtown and convenient. Parking was expensive, and the rooms were small with basic amenities, but it did the job!

Nice Hotel. The rooms are very modern and clean. Updated interiors and nice lighting. Staff and service was good. We had a room on the 2nd Floor Downtown street side, not recommended for lite sleepers. There is a bar called the Inferno across the street and people go hard from 10PM-4AM. We stayed Friday to Sunday and Saturday was not as bad as Friday night for loudness. The AC is right next to the freeway, so the other side of the building has noise too, but it is more like "white noise" than partiers and whoo girls. I would still stay at the AC again, but maybe on the Freeway side

The Staff was so attentive, and very nice!!! Thank you. The room was so nice, I sugges to ask for a room that are not close to the highway, it can be a little loud and noise for your sleep!!! Beside that the Hotel is very nice and very clean. And walking distance to downtown and restaurants and coffee places!

we had 5 rooms at the property and nobody could sleep at night as there was lot of traffic noise and loud music across the street. Will never stay there again.

The AC Marriott is well located in the middle of Santa Rosa. Shopping, eating and parking all close and convenient.

Great staff (Camilla!) and rooms. On-site breakfast options a bit meager, but within 5 minute walk lots of cute breakfast spots. And a great dinner spot, Jackson’s, right across the street.

The room was unexpectedly beautiful with a comfortable bed. And the shower was amazing. Breakfast was above my expectations.

River highlands disappointed that you made us always park in valet you didn’t provide a parking lot what you charge to for the rooms then you can’t even offer breakfast with I don’t think will ever come back it’s $20 for breakfast. My husband goes down to get a cuppa coffee charged four dollars no, we don’t we won’t be back, we were highly disappointed
