窓のない部屋でした。 ネトフリもアマプラもうつりませんでした。 ルーフトップジャグジーを楽しみに水着も持参しましたがしばらく利用していないようで雨水が溜まっており汚くて入れたものではありません。部屋のバスタブはお湯が溜まる間にお湯が冷めてしまうのでこちらも入れず。(二月に訪問) 安価なホテルではないので期待してしまった分いろいろ残念でした。

No te avisan que la tina de hidromasaje que está en la terraza, no está en funcionamiento, ofrecen como amenidades batas de baño pero no las colocan, en la parte de abajo tienen una mezcaleria y no te avisan que hacen fiestas hasta las 2 o 3 am y el rudo de la música impide descansar

Es un lugar bonito pero a detalle tiene algunas faltas importantes. De la tina salina un hilito de agua caliente y tardaba mucho en llenarse. No limpiaron la habitación y hasta después supe que tienes que solicitarlo. La tina de hidromasaje al aire libre sólo es un gancho porque no está disponible. Su publicidad es sutilmente engañosa.

The hotel is an older property but it’s been maintained and is absolutely beautiful!! The decor is unique and great for pictures. The rooftop is nice but a bit cramped but again great for pics. Its centrallly located and I’d stay there again for a night or two but not longer.

Mariana y Marco y Raymundo were EXCELLENT. The owners should be very proud of them - and likely should give them a raise. They are a golden team. There was no Jacuzzi and overall the property has seen better days. The location is hard to beat. And the restaurant that’s downstairs in the courtyard is quite good.

Muy cómodo y además registro sencillo, servicio de café y pan sin costo por la mañana, el restaurante de abajo muy rico. La habitación muy cómoda y apta para dormir largo y tendido, la habitación tiene una tina de hidromasaje muy conveniente y puedes reservar el uso del jacuzzi del roof.

When we arrived the staff didn’t have our room reservations, then when they found it we did all the paper work and they told us the room wasn’t ready yet until 3:30 when we came back for the key they couldn’t find out paperwork again! When we finally got into the room - The room was disgusting, there was pubic hairs on the bed sheets, the shower was gross everything was so disgusting. I would never stay in this place again, they don’t have elevator our room smelled and didn’t have any windows it was a complete nightmare.

Lo que más me gustó fue la amabilidad del personal. Algo a mejorar es que no hay estacionamiento en el lugar y la tina de baño es pequeña (suit imperial). En general todo estuvo bien. Si lo recomendaría y si volvería.

Es un lugar asqueroso! Las habitaciones muy sucias, sabanas sucias, muebles viejos, sucios y descuidados con goteras de agua que hacen charcos en la habitación, NO HAY AGUA CALIENTE!!! Baño asqueroso, toda el agua se sale del área de regadera, toallas viejas! Las habitaciones y el lugar en general apesta a grasa quemada de cocina DIA Y NOCHE! No se dejen engañar por las fotografías de la publicidad!!!!!!! El peor error haber reservado ahi, no regreso, no lo recomiendo. Los comentarios de excelencia dudo que sean reales!! Insisto no se dejen engañar!!!

Pros: The rooftop has amazing views and the hotel is centrally located to a number of great museums and historical cites. Cons: Rooms definitely need to be cleaner and perhaps updated - I didn\'t even use the tub in my room because it was filthy. The sheets and towels were also very worn. There was also very little room service (two nights the restaurant said they were too busy to accommodate room service), which is an amenity I expect to have at a "4 star" hotel. Overall, I think this hotel is more on par with a 2 or 3 star rating, not a 4 star "luxury" experience.

The room was beautiful that's about it. Everything else was not great. Starting for the fact we didnt have handsoap in the bathroom. Outside the shower it was a towel being used as a mat. They told us to enjoy ourselves in the hot tub which we fill out and of course it didnt work... so it felt like a waste of water and time. I also have to say the bathroom was gross the toilet bowl was nasty around not like someone poop once. Like it was never cleaned up so maybe it was good we couldnt use the tub.

The rooms are very dark. The room had very little light. There was a drainage smell in the bathroom. There was no plug for sink that had a big opening where things could drop into or come out of. There was a drain in the bedroom next to the bed. We covered it with a magazine to ensure no insects came out of the drain. The towels were old and rough.

Para ingresar al hotel debes pasar por el interior un restaurante, la habitación que nos toco NO tenía ventana, el agua de la regadera solo salió tibia nunca hubo agua caliente, una de las toallas de baño vieja y perjudicada, el baño olía a pintura de aceite, dos fundas de almohadas sucias, hotel ruidoso.

¡Terrible experiencia! La habitación estaba muy sucia, hay una tina de baño a lado de la cama que evidentemente no había sido limpiada, la cama muy dura, el ambiente lúgubre, las habitaciones están alrededor de un patio interior que es un restaurante, por lo que hay ruido todo el tiempo, hay un sonido de motor o bomba que no deja descansar y además por la mañana cuando entré a la regadera tronó algo en la regadera y el agua empezó a salir hacia el techo, haciendo que toda el agua se empezara a salir hacia el resto del cuarto de baño y escurrir hacia la habitación. Cuando mi marrido fue a pedir ayuda no había personal en recepción que le atendiera, solo encontró un señor de mantenimiento que afortunadamente nos ayudó, quién después de arreglar la regadera tomó una toalla de piso para tratar de recoger el agua y sin darse cuenta evidenció lo sucio que se encontraba el baño, ya que la toalla quedó gris de mugre. Por supuesto que tomamos nuestras cosas y fuimos a hablar con el personal de recepción, le pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación, quienes nos dijeron que como todas las habitaciones del ese mismo nivel estaban ocupadas, que después de hablar con gerencia, solo nos podrían cambiar a una superior si pagabamos la direfencia. Con lo que no estuvimos de acuerdo. Nos fuimos inmediatamente de ahí, pese a que aún nos quedaba una noche más en ese horrible lugar. ¡NO LO RECOMENDARÍA NI A MI PEOR ENEMIGO!

The hotel feels very dated and the rooms were not clean. The pictures are NOT an accurate depiction of what you'll get. There was hair on the ground and water stains in the bathtub/sink. Overall not clean. The hotel is on top of a bar so you'll hear music until very late at night - bass blaring. The only pro was the staff. They were super kind and accommodating hence 2/5 stars. Nonetheless, I would not come back.

Esta muy bonito el hotel pero si eres una persona que le cuesta dormir . no lo recomiendo ya que en la parte inferiro hay un restauante, y dos pisos arriba unos bares. agradables y con una vista increible por cierto. el personal super amable y atento.

El hospedaje estuvo bien, el hotel tiene muy buena ubicación. La cama está muy cómoda y la habitación cuenta con lo necesario, pero no tiene ventilación la habitación. Solamente un aire acondicionado que no funciona. Eso fue lo único que afecto nuestra estancia y descanso. El personal muy amable.
El hospedaje estuvo bien, el hotel tiene muy buena ubicación. La cama está muy cómoda y la habitación cuenta con lo necesario, pero no tiene ventilación la habitación. Solamente un aire acondicionado que no funciona. Eso fue lo único que afecto nuestra estancia y descanso. El personal muy amable.

Le falta mantenimiento, pintura a las paredes, había polvo, solo había una llave de la habitación, había que dejarla y pedirla al llegar cada vez, en las habitaciones si hay WiFi, pero es tan poca la señal que no se conecta a nada, solo una barrita. Excelente la atención del personal, siempre muy pendientes de todo, la cama MUY cómoda, muy cerca del Zócalo, la habitación silenciosa.
Le falta mantenimiento, pintura a las paredes, había polvo, solo había una llave de la habitación, había que dejarla y pedirla al llegar cada vez, en las habitaciones si hay WiFi, pero es tan poca la señal que no se conecta a nada, solo una barrita. Excelente la atención del personal, siempre muy pendientes de todo, la cama MUY cómoda, muy cerca del Zócalo, la habitación silenciosa.

Great location in the centre of town and the room is nicely decorated and quiet. There are no windows in the standard suite which made the room very dark. Most disappointingly, there was no hot water all afternoon and evening despite reception telling us to simply run the water - it actually got colder the longer we ran it. We ended up moving hotels for the next night so we could shower.

Staff was excellent and very accommodating. The lighting in the room extremely too dark. We had a window but it was fully covered by a dense tree. Zero visibility outside. The bathroom is oddly located 2 feet from the side of the bed so the others in the lofted queen bed felt it was not accessible to them. The room sleeps 5 but they only have one actual key for us.

Arriba del hotel hay un bar y la musica , voces, arrastre de sillas se escucha como si fuera la fiesta en el mismisimo cuarto… es imposible dormir… las instalaciones muy viejas y con olor a caño el baño, el aire acomdicionado tiraba agua.

Mariana y Marco y Raymundo were EXCELLENT. The owners should be very proud of them - and likely should give them a raise. They are a golden team. There was no Jacuzzi and overall the property has seen better days. The location is hard to beat. And the restaurant that’s downstairs in the courtyard is quite good.

The hotel was mediocre looks nice on line but it needs alot of detailing. They have a restaurant on the first floor is is very loud. On our last night they had a huge party and the noise was crazy till 1:30am something unacceptable. I call the front desk they just told me it was almost over. I will never stay there again .. very unprofessional.. and the worst part is they never apologized the next morning. the rooms need to be updated. They didn't even bother to help us with our luggage since the rooms are upstairs. Over all a poor time there ..

Sin duda alguna, la amabilidad de todo el personal ( la persona que hace la limpieza, la persona de recepción, personal del restaurante, la persona del valet parking ), es lo que más puedo remarcar en este viaje. Las instalaciones del hotel muy bien, y la cercanía al centro de Puebla en menos de 5 minutos caminando fue de gran ayuda.

When we arrived the staff didn’t have our room reservations, then when they found it we did all the paper work and they told us the room wasn’t ready yet until 3:30 when we came back for the key they couldn’t find out paperwork again! When we finally got into the room - The room was disgusting, there was pubic hairs on the bed sheets, the shower was gross everything was so disgusting. I would never stay in this place again, they don’t have elevator our room smelled and didn’t have any windows it was a complete nightmare.

El personal de Quinta Esencia es el mejor que me ha atendido en todos mis viajes, son sumamente serviciales, nos apoyaron desde que llegamos, nos ayudaron a subir las maletas hasta nuestro cuarto, asi como tambien cada ocasion que solicitamos cafe, te, aguas embotelladas, incluso ayudaron a mi mama a subir las escaleras. Realmente nos facilitaron la estancia en todo sentido. La habitacion era enorme, con una tina circular divina, y todo el cuarto esta hermosamente decorado, y las camas muy confortables, nos encanto y esperamos regresar pronto.

Salvo por la música nocturna que se puede suavizar con la TV, excelente lugar, con muy buen espacio, cómodo y con una tina con hidromasaje. El personal de primera y el restaurante augurio es la cereza del pastel, simplemente delicioso. Además está a una sola cuadra del Museo Amparo

The hotel is an older property but it’s been maintained and is absolutely beautiful!! The decor is unique and great for pictures. The rooftop is nice but a bit cramped but again great for pics. Its centrallly located and I’d stay there again for a night or two but not longer.

Room was very nice, location was excellent for walking. Very courteous and helpful staff. Be aware that there are lots of steep stairs to climb to get to some rooms. Some coffee you have to pay for. Some rooms may not have windows. Plenty of food options not far away but restaurant in hotel and bar next door available. Very minimalist but in terms of location can't beat it. We had a very nice time.

Terrific location for Zocalo, Museo Amparo, Catedral. The hotel occupies the second and third floors, with a pretty nice restaurant in the entrance courtyard on ground level. Beds are comfortable, most rooms include a soaking tub. For me, negatives were no elevator (getting to the third floor involves a lot of steps), the bedrooms rooms did not have much natural light, and the noise from adjoining bar on weekends was very loud. Staff was very helpful. I stayed four nights, then moved to Luma B&B about a mile away, which I highly recommend for accommodations and its fine dining breakfast.

Very nice and clean. The staff downstairs is welcoming, as well as the check-in desk up the stairs. I consider the area as a feature of this residence as you can enjoy a nice walk full of views in the historical center of Puebla City.

I really enjoyed Quinta Esencia. It was walkable to Zocalo and all points of interest even a fantastic restaurant on premises. The only pitfall was a very loud and popular bar directly below the hotel…music goes from about 8pm-1:30am Thursday-Saturday. This hotel is not handicap accesible, it’s an older Casona gorgeous by the way. Other than that, was a nice stay.

Mal, no lo recomiendo nada, en la noche hay ruido de 2 bares hasta las 2 am, después las personas borrachas hacen ruido y al limpiar los bares también hay ruido. Al siguiente día a las 7 am, el restaurante del primer piso cocina chiles y todo el hotel huele a chile por lo que toses y no es agradable

Cons: Rooms definitely need to be cleaner and perhaps updated - I didn\'t even use the tub in my room because it was filthy. The sheets and towels were also very worn. There was also very little room service (two nights the restaurant said they were too busy to accommodate room service), which is an amenity I expect to have at a "4 star" hotel. Overall, I think this hotel is more on par with a 2 or 3 star rating, not a 4 star "luxury" experience.

We loved this property! Really I can't recommend this hotel more highly. While it was a little tricky to locate, it is worth the search. The staff, especially Israel were very kind, helpful and attentive. Each room has distinct artwork and personalized touches. Though the crystal chandeliers and bathtubs made my stay feel extra luxurious. The naughty cherib motif ran throughout the hotel and the views of the volcano from the roof were spectacular. We also enjoyed the roof top bar and deck. Finally, if you have the chance please frequent the restraunt downstairs for an unforgettablely scrumptious delight. Their soups really stood out made with seasonal ingredients and unforgettably delicious. We had such a pleasant stay we tacked on an extra two nights.

Muy cómodo y además registro sencillo, servicio de café y pan sin costo por la mañana, el restaurante de abajo muy rico. La habitación muy cómoda y apta para dormir largo y tendido, la habitación tiene una tina de hidromasaje muy conveniente y puedes reservar el uso del jacuzzi del roof.

This is an amazing, comfortable, beautiful hotel. With many added benefits.. jacuzzi tub in the room, a stocked mini fridg, housecoats, and complimantary coffee and toast brought to you in the morning. On the roof a very comfortable hot tub that you reserve for your private use, an excersise room and a shower and restrooms. The common areas are decorated elegantly. The staff is perfect, very accomadating and friendly professionally. The area is just what you want if you enjoy museums, resturants, churches and or shopping are all within am easy walking distance.

the bathroom need a up date , the room is to hot al day long ,AC was no working at all , can’t sleep because the night club you have downstair to noisy, the hot tub is in renovation didn’t say anything on his web I don’t recommend this , specially if you want to sleep and relax

It’s run down, the jacuzzi is shut down, the gym is shut down, and the hot water runs out… I had to shower with cold water… I wouldn’t recommend this hotel..
