Casa Tavera was the perfect spot for our quick visit to Merida. Easy to find, parking, lovely rooms, sweet pool and patio, Goff breakfast and the best staff! Location is easy walking to the historic district with loads of excellent restaurants close-by. We will return!

El personal es súper amable y atento, desde que llegamos nos atendieron increíble. Las habitaciones son enormes o al menos la que nos toco, súper limpia, iluminada, la alberca agradable. Si estás en la alberca y se te antoja una copa de vino o algo de tomar te lo encuentran.yo olvidé mi cargador y están haciendo lo posible por enviármelo. Lo cual agradezco mucho. Aunque estuve 1 día sin duda a mi regreso casa tavera sera mi lugar de hospedaje. Ah, cuenta con estacionamiento, en la parte trasera del hotel pero siempre te acompañan ellos.

La entrada fue bastante mal ya que nos dieron una habitación sin ventanas tipo sótano y la que había daba hacia las mesas del desayuno donde no hay privacidad si la dejas abierta. No tiene parking y pague extra por un parking que tenían concertado por unos 250mex. Por nuestra parte no aceptamos esa habitación y en principio no había posibilidad de cambio. Después de decir que nos íbamos se resolvió y nos dieron otra está sí que tenía ventanas y nos devolvieron amablemente el dinero del parking. El desayuno era normal. El WC se atascó dos veces sin tirar papeles y que tuvimos que desatascar nosotros mismos buscando en dos ocasiones el desatascador. En la habitación habían tapones para los oídos lo que nos llamó la atención por la noche habían fiestas locales y hasta las 2 de la mañana con música a tope que no nos dejó dormir. Aunque esto no es culpa del establecimiento lo cierto es que apenas dormimos esas dos noches.

I was traveling alone and was provided with a single room and bathroom. The room was large and spacious and had everything I needed. working AC, ceiling fan, comfortable bed, and full bathroom. Super easy check-in service and kind staff. Staff were attentive and responded to all my requests. They had breakfast brought up in the morning and scheduled a massage in my room. Will definitely stay again.

Our suite was beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean and had everything that is important to me: comfortable bed, high quality pillows and linens, well appointed bathroom with great water pressure and a mini fridge. The staff really sets this hotel apart from most! They were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

There was no working AC in our room and our room was very humid given it was right next to the pool and the room was not well insulated. We had a cockroach in our room as well as a salamander that came out of my shoe. Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. They accommodate us even when we arrived really early. Service was excellent. They gave us recommendations about where to eat near by. There was no street noise in our bedroom and the bed was comfy!!!! We’ll surely return here!

Casa Tavera es un excelente lugar para descansar. Es nuestro primer viaje a Mérida y la verdad la experiencia fue muy grata. El personal se esmera en atender a los huéspedes y en realidad disfrutas del tiempo que permanezcas en Mérida. Desde hoy es nuestra nueva casa en esta ciudad!!!

Absolutely WONDERFUL! The location is perfect. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean and had everything that is important to me: comfortable bed, high quality pillows and linens, well appointed bathroom with great water pressure and a mini fridge. The staff really sets this hotel apart from most! They were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

The staff at Casa Tavera, Amed and Celeste were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, who went above and beyond. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and loved the convenient location.

The property was ideal for our needs. Reasonably priced, it offered many amenities and provided breakfast every morning. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. Close to down downy without being in downtown. Wonderful!!!!

El lugar es increíble. Perfecto para conocer Mérida por primera vez o regresar a ellla. Los desayunos incluidos son muy ricos La atención y amabilidad de las anfitrionas, Joselyn y Celeste es inigualable. Demetrio fue muy atento. No recuerdo el nombre de quién limpiaba nuestra habitación y también fue muy amable, nuestra habitación siempre estaba perfecta.
El lugar es increíble. Perfecto para conocer Mérida por primera vez o regresar a ellla. Le pondria una observación: el desayuno es muy malo lo que demerita la calidad del hotel. Jugo de bote, huevos mal preparados hasta quemados, pan de caja etc...malo. Todo lo contrario del hotel y el servicio del personal que es excelente.

The staff here are very attentive and excellent. They greeted us at the door, helped coordinate an outing after our original tour company had to cancel. Also, provided superb dining recommendations and local area activity information. The hotel is quiet, safe, secure and has comfortable accommodations. Daily cleaning, wifi and air conditioning all in order. I would recommend Casa Tavera for your stay. Thank you :)
