Cool and unique hotel with a lot of style. The restaurant is only open weekends, ending at Sunday brunch, which was a disappointment for us coming in on Sunday night. There are casual dining options nearby and fantastic restaurants not far. Breakfast is available at the hotel in a cozy library setting. The parking garage next door is not owned by the hotel, but you can pay on your own and it is cheaper than their valet. The bar is great with a good selection of beer and drinks with knowledgeable, personable staff.

Loved the surprise of live music outside. This is what kept us at the hotel to eat dinner and have drinks.

The only downside to this hotel was that they did not have adequate staff and could only open the outside bar.

Valet parking was included with our booking, so nice! Friendly front desk staff and great drinks at bar.

The Yard was not open for whatever reason. No explanation they just said it was closed. We looked forward to eating there and sitting outside.

The ambiance is great, and the front desk was amazing. However we were switched to a lower grade room, with no explanation. The valet service is terrible, they would take up to 30 minutes to get our vehicle, with no one else waiting for a car and then tell us they had to use the restroom and sorry for inconvenience. Once would be understandable, but 5 times when we requested our vehicle was not appropriate. The service in the outdoor patio area was not great. They were friendly, but also would disappear and no one was there. We waited nearly 25 minutes to be greeted after being sat near the fireplace area. We were hopeful that we would really like this place as we frequently will be in Milwaukee, however not even sure we would recommend a stay here.

Stay was quick. Everyone was nice and friendly. Very nice and clean hotel. Definitely would stay again.

Hotel room bathrooms were dirty. Toenail clippings on floor and only half roll of toilet paper available. Had to call twice over eight hours to get toilet paper.

Lobby and bar are gorgeous! Staff was great. Our room was lack-luster. Dusty, rumpled carpet. Have stayed here many times and this time, the room showed some age.

It was stinky

It was our 2nd stay at the Iron Horse. The first time we stayed was winter and it was snowy. We weren’t able to get around without our car much. This 2nd time was better. We walked across the street to eat a pizza and have some brewed beer. The room was clean both times and I barely heard other visitors. We had a great time there.

The room was not clean. The coffee pot was disgustingly dirty and had to be replaced. The ice bucket was still wet from previous use.

This Hotel used to be an amazing experience; however, definitely fell short. Whole place smells musty, including our room. Only one person working the breakfast and was very busy so we just left.

The hotel is dark, dingy and dusty. The lighting is cool but gives off no light. The room was too dark to put on make up. Our room was very dusty. Curtains dusty and the air return vent filters look like they were never changed. Overall, what we could see, the hotel and rooms look and feel dingy. Chipped dishes at breakfast. The mattress and pillows seem to be as old as the building, very uncomfortable. Cool looking place, very friendly staff, and great location in Walker's Point. But, don't think we will stay there again unless we want to be in Walker's Point.

To be honest, I was disappointed with the Iron Horse. It is billed as a luxury hotel and it has luxury prices but it lacks in luxury. The toilet paper and Kleenex they used was very cheap. There is no hotel maid service unless you ask for it which wasn’t shared with me at Checkin, the hotel staff were scarce and hard to find and parking for visitors of guests was ridiculous.

The room itself was very nice. Great bed, good temperature control, and good soft carpet. Mini bar and snack prices were very reasonable. We stayed on New Year's Eve and received free passes to a 1st floor party, but it was one those loud parties where you can't even talk to the person next to you, and that's not our scene so we skipped it. There was a design flaw in our room with a frosted glass wall between the main area and shower. There's no way to use the bathroom without lighting the whole room up and disturbing your partner that's still in bed. It would have been nice to have more than one USB charging port in the room on the clock radio. The TV was mounted on the wall crooked and the desk lamp was broken. The TV said it had a guide, purchase menu, and streaming apps available but none of these worked. There clearly used to be a box connected to the TV to run these things but it was removed. All you could do was scan through the channels with no guide, you couldn't even select an HDMI input to hook up your own devices. They allow dogs but charge you $100 for the pleasure, which seems excessive. That should be a refundable deposit if no damage occurs. Right now it's no different than a resort fee. It's modern, it's downtown, it's built from an old factory across from the Harley Davidson factory. All those are cool things, but for the price I expected more.

We got the top floor king loft, heard the TV next door entire day and night. Our phone in the room didn't work so I had to run down 3 times to get the front desk to have the guest next door turn it down or off. Timber lofts are notorious for sound transfer, but this was the wall. There's no sound insulation. This place is not worth the price.

When checking in front desk staff took 10-15 mins to get to the desk. When trying to reach someone at the hotel you get a phone tree and transferred to an agent off site who are very unhelpful and unprofessional. Late night shift staff was rude and unhelpful. Morning of check out housekeeping came around to our door and banged on door at 8:30 am to “see if we were still there”. Overall experience was the worst I have had yet at a hotel. Will not be staying here again and will not recommend to others

I’ve always liked this hotel but the service has declined. Housekeeping was no where to be found and the front desk was often-times vacant for long stretches of time. I waited 20 minutes for someone to check me out and no one ever showed up. Plus parking is quite expensive. It’s sad because the property itself is quite lovely.

Easily the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, fantastic service. I will be back!

Overall our stay was just okay. It is a beautiful hotel with a great bar and in a good location. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us our room wasn’t ready and it would be about 20 minutes. 30 minutes went by and when we asked for an update the woman said no more than 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I had to go back up and that is finally when they shared our room was ready after waiting over an hour and waiting while past the actual check-in time. There were guests an hour later still waiting to get into their room. If they were this delayed, it would’ve been nice to get a phone call ahead of time letting us know so we could’ve better prepared for our evening plans but we got no such thing. Highly disappointed in the service provided and the front desk staff not feeling apologetic for how delayed their guests check in was. They shrugged it off like it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t feel sorry for it.

Hotel has great potential. Very unhappy with lack urgency to repair issues with our room. No warm water for shower, clogged bathroom sink. With a staff of 5 standing in the restaurant and maybe 10 guests it took 2 hours for a salad and brat. Woman behind desk tried to help. Dont use valet. They charged us double and no one at company is willing to help. Do not stay here if possible

I travel a lot and not once I meet the staff that does not say “welcome to our hotel, god morning, how can we assist you, did you enjoy your stay at our hotel, have a great day, safe travels”. Most unwelcoming and unpleasant staff! I am very disappointed, hotel is definitely overcrowded and way too expensive! No a four star wordy hotel! Like the big sign Iron house hotel that has broken letters in it same goes the hotel. Not recommending it to anyone!

All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. There was an issue with our room (bad smell). The hotel manager Shai immediately upgraded us to another room and the issue was solved. Beds were comfortable and cozy, bathroom was spacious, clean, with nice amenities. Would highly recommend!

The Iron Horse is a great hotel in the burgeoning Walker's Point neighborhood. It is in what was once an industrial area, and the hotel blends the industrial with the modern beautifully. We had a corner room, a Custom Deluxe King, which had plenty of room and was comfortable once we got the thermostat figured out. We had an event about 6 blocks away that we were planning on walking to. With the neighborhood described as "industrial", I was a bit hesitant to walk back at 10:00 pm, but the area has a lot of restaurants and businesses, and we felt very safe. If you have a car parking is an additional charge for valet services. The hotel has a restaurant for breakfast, but the Greige Patisserie is a nearby and a great option.

I love the unique character of this hotel and the room. It was convenient to downtown and bars and restaurants.

Stylish hotel, very convenient for HD museum. Staff are very helpful, especially Max at the bar. Recommended.

The Iron Horse is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of food, shopping & the Harley-Davidson Museum. The staff is pleasant & friendly.

Great location and fun atmosphere!

Great location, tucked away but 10 minute walk to the 3rd Ward which is a great starting point for your visit to Milwaukee. Their patio is very nice as well w/ firepits, great selection of bourbon, etc.

Clean, great location, and the bar was great. Highly recommend. Appreciate the easy valet.

Great vibe: unique biker-industrial atmosphere was fun so well done they it made it enjoyable to stay there. Great bar and casual, comfortable lounging area…so many options! The breakfast and lunch options are the big disappointment- not great choices and way overpriced for what you get. We didn’t try the formal dining restaurant but it looks great…

This property is beautiful and has great vibes inside and out. But our room wasn’t ready until about 90 minutes after check in time and that was after checking in it multiple times. We also asked for adjoining rooms which they could not accommodate. Our waitress at the bar outside was very sweet but the food and drinks took a long time. Just seems to not be running great overall. Not sure due to staffing?

Awesome place to stay if you like being in the city. Only bike parking available. I drove a truck and had to pay quite a bit for parking off property. The restaurants were not great. But the people there were. The staff and guests were friendly. Bar didnt quite have the selection I would of liked. But I did enjoy it.

VIP access included valet, which didn't work properly and I ended up paying for valet and requesting a refund (twice) which I finally received. Restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed hanging out in the lobby with friends.

Check-in was at 3p but the room was not "ready" until after 530p. We walked into a semi-cleaned room, new towels and folded sheets, but no soaps, floor was dirty, leftover trash from previous guests. Terrible service at breakfast we had to sit ourselves and then flag someone from the hotel to get our service started, we were always the only people in the restaurant. Flagging them for service seemed to be a nuisance, and then it took a little to long for the simple things. We woke up to banging on the roof like they were dropping a car, and when asked about what is going on, the front desk manager said he had no idea what I was talking about. Loved the decor and the rustic/authenticity of the hotel, but terrible experience.
