The hotel was super clean, including the pool area. Pool area had a wheelchair lift, tables and chairs as well as complimentary towels. Room was well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Staff was courteous and breakfast buffet offered many options: oatmeal, cereal, omelettes, croissants, cinnamon buns, toast, make your own waffle with coffee, tea and juice. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you!

Very disappointed. I picked this hotel because i had my Granddaughter s, and picked it because of the pool, the pool was unavailable due to maintenance, if i would have known that i would not have booked this hotel. Also the bathtub plug didnt work so they couldn't even have a bath. So yes was very disappointed , tried to have a fun night with the girls and told them we were going to go swimming and had to try to explain to them that they couldn't use the pool.

Service was fantastic, but the person at front desk had more customers and request than a single person could handle. Nonetheless, he did a fantastic job. The room was clean and comfortable. An area for improvement: The pool water was a bit murky and there weren’t any towels available. Breakfast was simple, but good.

Top tier hotel for sure . The only minor thing missing was a shower cap for my wife so just bring one if need be. The continental breakfast was the best one out all the hotels in the Brockville area and I have literally stayed in these hotels 5 nights a week for months now. The gym is open 24 hours and the pool is awesome. There are double elevators and the hotel is peaceful and quiet. I slept perfectly as well. The front desk service is friendly and professional and the cleaning staff are incredible. Very happy with my 3 nights stay.

Bed sheets had blood on it. Did not notice until next morning. We checked to see if we had an open wound and found none. Notify the front desk and she was felt bad about the situation.

Hotel was nice. Room looked nice. Staff was nice. Nothing mind blowingly awesome. Pretty average/slightly above average. The problem is that the rooms have motion sensors on the thermostats. I set the thermostat to 21(room temperature was 24) when i got in(by default). The problem is that after a couple hours of the thermostat not catching any movement in the room, it shut off the cooling. I had to wake up 2-3 per night to turn it back on because i’d get woken up by the heat of the room. I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep which is the main/only purpose of getting a hotel room. Awful. Whoever decided that putting motion sensor thermostats in the rooms is a sadistic human being. I would never go back.

There were lots of shops nearby. The pool was lovely, the rooms were clean. The beds were excellent but a little too high for short people to get in. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection.

I stayed here twice in one week. The breakfast was really good. The staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean. A few things would make this SO much better. Simple upgrades in the room would make a world of difference. The sliding barn style door with no lock and lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom make the bathroom much less private. This is a terrible design. The rooms need things like updated shower heads, nicer toilet paper, even a bottle of water… I paid 200 and 250 a night. The “free internet” is a slower service, for high speed you have to pay extra. Overall I feel like the room should have been half the price.

Pros: - Flat fee for 2 pets per stay is great - Hotel is new and in great shape - Breakfast is excellent - Free coffee in the lobby all day is awesome - Location is good, lots of stores and restaurants around Cons: - The Wifi access requires a combination last name room number, so can't be used for simple devices that only take a password, like the security camera I always bring to keep an eye on my dogs. - Heat/A/C fan doesn't have a "just on" mode. The constant going on and off is not conducive to sleep. - There's no bar of soap in the bathroom, only soap dispensers mounted ~5 1/2 feet off the ground, on the wall above the bathroom counter, making it even harder to reach. My wife could not reach it, had to use the one in the shower. - The bathroom only has the "barn"-type sliding door - noisy - In one day, I managed to pinch my fingers in both the microwave door (about 16 inches off the ground) and the weird cupboard door hiding the fridge. - The fridge had no temperature control. Luckily it was new and somewhat cold. - No in-room safe. - They advertise cable TV, but it's basic - a handful of news channels and maybe 3 others. - No summary / bill at checkout. Not even through email. Would we go back? Sure, but we'd bring our own soap. And probably pillows

The beds were extremely comfortable, but very difficult to get up in as they are so high for both average height and mobility issues. An under the bed pull out step would be a great addition. I look forward to stay there again when needed.

The staff promised early check in, called back saying we can’t have it after 3 hours while we were already on the way then said again we can have it. Later- we got to the hotel, they said they only have a queen room ready (when we payed for king) and told us the king would be ready for early check in, and we got downgraded because they were not ready, the man at the front also laughed when we came in. very disappointed and will be contacting management

The Manager "M*lissa" was downright rude, discourteous, abrasive, and escalating. All over a simple request for a printed receipt. Hampton Inn has lost my business forever. She said she didn't care when I gave her fair warning about the loss of business. Her business model is atrocious. Wouldn't go back there, even for free.

The rooms were a little small, lacking chairs for three adults. The beds are also quite high and not easy for sitting on, especially given we have an adult daughter with a disability. That said, the staff were very welcoming. We arrived on a weekend of a local hockey tournament which would be noisy! The staff, without us asking, put us in a room away from much of the activity and, indeed, it was quiet and restful.

This is almost a new hotel, it is quite clean, also it is in safe and convenient location. The most impressive thing is the service the provided to me. I left the things in the closet, they kept it well and helped to mail back to me. I like to take this opportunity to thank the staffs there, especially Karen, who is a very nice and responsive when I contacted the hotel to look for my things. He did double check and identified the things, then he suggested of helping to ship the things back to me. So, I am very happy to have got my things back. I really appreciate his support and quality service. I will certainly come back to stay this hotel when I travel this area again in future. Thanks again, Karen!!!.

Extremely clean, well laid out rooms. Watch your fingers and toes on the bathroom/closet barn door though! Wonderfully quiet hotel, plus the comfy mattress and the blockout shades really help give you a good night's rest. Convenient location right next to a Superstore, Walmart and Dollarama if you forgot to pack anything. Short drive to the highway and to downtown where you'll find a decent selection of restaurants on their main strip. Check out the Railway Tunnel and Fulford Place. Avoid the Aquatarium unless you have kids maybe 7 and under. The only criticism I have of the service at this particular location is that when I called the evening before we were checking out to ask for a late checkout, I was told they couldn't guarantee anything because they were expecting a lot of arrivals the next day (on a Sunday? Really?) but that I could take a chance calling the front desk again in the morning... so he essentially wanted me to wake up early to ask if I could sleep in? Champagne problems, I know. So sue me, I wanted an extra hour of sleep during my first vacation in months.

We arrived Sunday evening of the August long weekend and upon check in asked about the hours for services, particularly the swimming pool and the times for breakfast service. We knew we would be staying out late visiting friends from out of town so wanted to make sure we were there on time for breakfast the following morning. We were told by the lady at the front breakfast was 6 to 10am. We arrived at 9:15am Monday morning for breakfast and were surprised to find the area shut down and cleared out. There was dry cereal with no milk and some leftover bagels wrapped in plastic. Due to dietary restrictions I was sure to check the foods offered before we booked our $280 a night room. Unfortunately due to the misinformation of the Hampton Inn staff we ended up spending $100 elsewhere for breakfast as there was nothing left we could eat. I am extremely disappointed with Hampton. A 9am breakfast cutoff is not acceptable. Check out is at 11am. There was another family who were stuck in the same situation as we were and they were also not impressed. The staff said this happens “all the time”. I’ll never book here again. I do not feel we received the value for the considerable amount paid for a mediocre hotel for one Sunday night in Brockville.
