Fabulous lodge, fabulous location. We had a great time & the anglers loved the fishing! The hot tub was a lovely treat. We’ve been in several lodges but I have never been in such a well equipped one. The kitchen has absolutely everything! It was super clean & the added Christmas decor made it very homely. We’ll be back.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Good fishing, very good accommodation and excellent hot tub.

Nice place, all as advertised. Kids loved hot tub + lots of outside are around lodge to play. Could do with more comfy decking furniture.

Great location right on the lake. Inside the lodge is clean, although a little tired in places. Hot tub is good and serviced daily. Walkable to the pub on the main road, so you don't have to pay to use the park's facilities.

Nice overnight stay to catch up with friends, hottub a nice bonus, would have been nice to have the option to add on the entertainment pass but for 1 night it didnt matter and had a lovely meal at the pub just before entrance

This lodge sits on the edge of a fab little lake with a private jetty for the kids to fish from.Nick was always available if we needed anything and I’d like to say thank you for a great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights in May , we had a nice relaxing few days.. park has a lot of facilities.. which you need a pass to use, also need a pass for use of the restaurants which we didn’t realise, but we cooked as plenty of equipment in the kitchen. Would return for another short break

The lodge is more than we could have asked for. It was well situated and kitted out.

Had a lovely relaxing break with my partner and another couple. We stayed Friday-Sunday. Lodge was beautiful and clean. Hot tub was excellent and got cleaned whilst we were there. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The cabin itself is lovely and spacious and after having to play around with the modes and wait for it to warm up properly the hot tub was lovely and great being next to the lake. The lodge is well equipped with kitchen equipment etc however it was a shame that some of the plates had been put back in the cupboards dirty by I’m assuming previous guests. There was also no firewood for the stove (like advertised) and a used beer can left on the hot tub decking. Communication with the host was great and bathrooms and bedrooms clean and the bed was comfy. Overall it was a nice stay but not ideal about the hot tub to begin with. Our stay could have been nicer should these things have been noticed prior to us getting there.

Beautiful lodge, well looked after. Clean and fully kitted out with lots of extras. The communication with the host Julie was good and she popped to say hello and checked the hot tub while we were there. Full recommend, lovely weekend away

The Lodge had everything we required to enable us to have a lovely relaxing weekend spotlessly clean and perfectly situated. Julie was brilliant making our booking easy and smooth from first contact.

Beautiful place I don’t really want to moan because it’s stunning but the beds are rock hard which made it very difficult for me to sleep which was a little disappointing… one blind broken in the kitchen also no lights were working outside so unless you was in the hot tub which had lights you wouldn’t be able to see very much apart from that it’s beautiful

Perfect for a relaxing, quiet location. Other than the typhoons flying overhead occasionally, the only sound was of the wildlife around the lodge of which it was plentiful. Lovely clean and well equipped property and the small issue we had during our stay, was resolved within a couple of hours. Definitely be revisiting soon.

The cabin is in a lovely location, everything is provided glasses if all kinds and we loved the duck theme throughout. We definitely be going back

The booking process was easy and the property was listed as suiting our needs perfectly. One twin room and two king rooms to accommodate up to six people.. Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening but access to the property was easy and directions from the owner were simple to understand. The decor was lovely and the facilities comprehensive. It was clean throughout. Additionally the hot tub was great and not just the usual blow up effort! Unfortunately we managed to trip the cabin electrics without a huge load being used (cabin for six) - we had two in the hot tub, the lounge tv on, the kitchen light and a kettle on and one person about to get in the in the shower. At this point we were plunged into darkness (11pm). None of the main circuit breakers were tripped so I tried to call for advice and unfortunately neither the owner nor the park maintenance were available to assist. We went to bed with wet hair, not showered and with no way of charging phones or watches etc… All this meant no one got settled until almost one in the morning! Thankfully one phone survived the night and an alarm woke me up at seven… a quick chat with the maintenance guy and four turns of a screwdriver was all it took to get back on grid but we needed to leave at eight so it was all pretty hectic in the end!!! Overall, a lovely cabin in a lovely location, let down by the park electric supply and a lack of late night support… But, we wish we’d been there for a longer stay and would go back.

When we first got there we were stressed as we couldn't find the lodge.phoned the owners and they didn't respond so it was pot luck but raining.put the negative aside I had an amazing time and everything was on point we didnt need to leave the property xxx

The hot tub was fully working and a great treat after a long day of golf. Communication from Nick was great. Response time was short and answered all our needs. Onsite restaurants and pubs. Absolutely fabulous stay here. The lodge is first class, everything you could need and more. Great communication with Nick Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lodge to anyone. Hopefully we will be back sometime next year. Thank you for a brilliant weekend x

It was amazing from start to finish. We had such a lovely long weekend away. The process was made so easy by Julie who couldn’t be more helpful if she tried. I’d highly recommend and would love to return in the future.
