The reservation was booked Dec 13th for Feb 12-13. Upon arrival, there was no parking available and I was instructed to park in the coffee shop parking lot but was also told to make sure there was enough parking for the coffee shop employees (like I’m supposed to know how many people work there). Upon checking in, without any notification prior, they informed me that the room I booked was no longer available and they placed me in a handicapped room. I booked the king suite and this was the double queen handicapped room. Once arriving to the room, the deadbolt on the door would not latch. I called the service desk and the girl came up and just kept slamming the door saying, hear that clicking? It’s locking over and over again. This visit could have been a lot better and unfortunately I will not be returning.

Parking spaces arex a little tight, compact and standard vehicle sizes but very narrow. Larger trucks 250 and 2500 or larger will have to get creative while Parking.

This property was in a convenient location between the college/university campuses and the beach. In addition to coffee shops and restaurants, there were plenty of shopping options within a few miles of the hotel. The rooms were quiet and the property was clean. The pool area was stocked with towels and comfortable reclining pool chairs. The only negative was that the pool was not heated. I would definitely stay at this property again!

We greatly enjoyed staying here, came for the Mayo Clinic. The parking situation isn’t great if you’re trying to find a spot at night, as it is a shared lot with another hotel, so it’s limited, but attendant said it was okay to park along the fence. Breakfast was great, room was clean, bed comfortable, we enjoyed it greatly, will stay again.

Reception was very friendly & efficient when checking us in. Location is very convenient to everything. They offer free breakfast also love that they are a pet friendly hotel. Our room was clean, smelled good & very quiet. Bed was comfortable. We plan on staying here again.

The room is a good size. However, bathroom was not cleaned well with caulking missing and mold on grout. Also very odd to not have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Would stay elsewhere next time.

Property was clean although there was an unusual smell/scent in the room when we checked in. My husband found a lady in housekeeping and borrowed some freshener spray which helped. Front desk staff were very polite. We only stayed one night.

Upon arrival to our room we discovered dog poop on the floor. Staff gave us another room but this wss totally unacceptable. If we could have left and flown home outside of schedule we would have. We will be seeking full compensation for this stay.

Everything was great except operating the TV. Has to be the worst hotel TV system I've ever encountered and I'm into audio/visual stuff as well as IT. Super-slow and unresponsive and seemed to lock up at one point trying to make the guide go away. Rebooted and could finally change the channel after 2 or 3 minutes. Otherwise, room was clean, staff was friendly, location was fine, and bed was ultra- comfortable. I'd recommend, but bring your Roku/Chromecast.

I've stayed at this facility several times and this was the weakest of my visits. The TV wouldnt turn on and the only solution I was offered was to switch rooms after we had already settled into our room and the only room offered was 1 king(rather than 2 queens) which was unacceptable for our party. Seems they either have no staff to service the TV or no back up TVs available.

The room was beyond what we expected! We had a kitchenette with a stove, sink, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. They also had cooking utensils and dish-ware. The shower was large and beautiful. We were very pleased with the room and the stay!

The property is very nice , we liked the room . Only thing missing is room service , we stayed for 3 nights , called front desk and asked for room service , they mentioned you are on the list and they never showed up , with kids it’s definitely needed informed Tracy the same . She told she will inform housekeeping manager . Other than that everything else is good

Arrived 4pm greeted with smile and welcome, departed 10:00am greeted and sent off with smile. However, the person at the desk Sat. night, rude and unprofessional. No help with my request to check phone service in room (well, are you sure it's plugged in???) asked for lotion...again it on chambermaid cart! No response other than kurt words.

I don’t know her name, but the person who checked us in at the front desk and was at the front desk the time that we were there. She went out of her way to help us with our dogs. She went out of her way to help me with my husband. Super person she is a type of employee you are glad to have and wish you could always keep.

Although this hotel says dog friendly, they did not trat us friendly As I checked in they charged me $100 extra for my service animal. I told her I was unaware of this fee and said that I was welcome to look for another hotel. At this point I did not have an option and had to pay it I stayed at other TownPlace suits and was not treated this way The desk staff were unfriendly also when checking out. I handed her the key and say thank you and she didn’t even look up Also parking is not the best here. This parking lot is shared with another hotel so if you are arrive late at night, there may not be parking

Everyone at the desk was friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful especially a girl that worked most days with long brown hair & maybe glasses, not sure, don’t know her name but she was wonderful!

We were looking for a place convenient to both UNF and the beach for Family weekend, This was it! Our room was great. The parking lot was over full and not convenient for trucks. It was a cool time so we were excited for the fire pit we saw online, this is right at the parking lot facing a major road. It was packed with smokers so we never had an opportunity to use it. There was a lot of homeless people and trash surrounding the building. The hotel was convenient in location and clean but I’m not sure we would stay here again

The beds at all of the Marriott locations are always awesome. That is why my family always looks for Marriott no matter where we go. The free breakfast was very good. If you stay multiple days it repetitive but always high quality.

Great room with 2 queens. AC unit worked very well. Was able to stream Amazon Prime on the TV too. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Breakfast was also great. Very good location for Mayo Clinic and other areas in east Jax. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was weak. Ran out of eggs, coffee and bowls for cereal at 9:00 took forever to replace. (Saturday) Fire alarm went off at 4:00 had to evacuate. Overall I would stay there again. Good location.

We found the service to be less than stellar. We asked for extra towels to be delivered to the room, but ran out of time waiting so had to use the towels that were on the floor from the day before. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, but if you’re a late breakfast person, be prepared to find nothing to eat. When asked if more food would be brought out, one of the staff members complained to somebody on the phone about customers asking for more food. There wasn’t any hot food, bagels, or cereal. And the front desk person was on their cell phone the entire time we were at breakfast. I would expect more from a Marriott property.
