Hillcrest Motel

Did not stay, no parking, they didn’t tell where the room was. Very unsafe area.

Room was clean, and provided what I needed for an overnight stay. Toilet tank fill valve was not operating properly, so I just filled the toilet tank manually with water to flush. No problem. Parking lot was terrible, but I have seen worse. All I needed was a place to sleep and this hotel provided such for a low price.

Didn’t like having to park in the back of the hotel on a unpaved parking lot

Shower had no pressure. Stairs very steep. Hard bed and pillows not sturdy enough

Ice maker broken...no Ice Towels very rough, low quality Stepping out of shower, feet got coated with sand walking to bed....Floors weren't clean No electrical plug for phone charging on head board wall Main light switch for over-head light,...on far wall behind bed....... Rear parking lot shared with a seedy, low income apartment complex.......Alot of small negatives, but added together, This place is a (No Go) ever again

Parking was limited and felt unsecure. The room was average and the stairs were very steep and felt dangerous.

The parking was in the back next to another small apt building. Wasnt sure if someone might break into my vehicle. The room looked clean, but i doubted the cleanliness due to a used bar soap on the floor of the shower. They only left like a quarter of toilet paper left on the roll that was on the holder and no extra toilet paper. The bed frame feels weak, so not very sturdy for a big guy. The check in was a bit frustrating as they didnt speak english. But they were nice. We just had to kinda try to understand each other.

Dirt parking, room in the back of property. Old abandoned houses in front of the room I stayed the night. I don't know the reason of the why I was given a room in the back of the hotel when at the front with pavement parking was empty. I felt scared and unsafe due to the location.

Cockroach in room still alive. All sufaces felt gritty , shower curtain and shower walls were dirty.

La habitación estaba impregnada a olor a cigarro. Las toallas no secaban, no sé si porque estaban desgastadas. No nos sentimos cómodos con el baño, dudamos de su limpieza. Lo único bueno es que está todo cerca, pero no volvería a ese lugar.

Room needs more cleaning

There is nothing to say nice about this place. We were here for 3 hours and had to pack up and leave. Toilet had no flush handle. In order to flush u had to put Ur hand in the tank and manually flush. did install a handle after my family was there 3 hours 2 adult and 3 teens. I Told the manager it didn't work and that we were checking out among other issues like someone else's blood on the sofa bed eww hello change the bed pad manger common sense or make housekeeping change it. I advised manager fridge was not working no way to adjust it all frozen over with ice inside it my insulin had to be refrigerated and was frozen by the time it was injection time. I have cancer and low immune system and to deal with manually flush TOLITE and blood on bed I was putting my health at risk. I did ask for refund and manger declined saying not his problem someone broke his TOLITE handle the night before and not his problem that someone else blood was on the sofa bed and not his problem the fridge was broken. I called the booking place the manger flat out lies to the agent know what I was saying was true but hey maybe he needed the money more than me only God knows. I bet the blood stain is still there on that bed. The worst part of u knows one of ur units is not working correctly why put a family in there especially someone that has children disabled and has cancer cold heart man MANAGER GOD BLESS U BECAUSE U SURE NEED IT. U COULD HAVE OFFERED ANOTHER UNIT BUT IT COLD HEARTED 😔😔😔

English was not available at the reception desk, only Spanish. I do not speak Spanish, but the clerk at the liquor store on the same premises helped me. The room is realy wonderful, very spacious, newly and perfect clean.

The bed was super uncomfortable! It also made so much noise with any little move! And the water pressure in the morning was awful! Went to speak to the manager about the issues and he did not care! On top of the room being dirty and house keeping trying to kick everyone out before 11 am! Very bad experience! So disappointed!

Not to many nice hotels available in Eagle Pass but this was a small motel that was super quiet, clean with comfy beds. Recently remodeled with a nice large walk in shower. Was a perfect over night stay after the casino.

The suite was comfortable for our party of 6, with two beds and a pullout couch. Fridge and microwave were convenient, and the single staff was polite and helpful. However, there must have been a misunderstanding when we checked in because he swiped our credit card, which we thought was for "incidentals" or a security deposit. We found out when reviewing our credit card bill the next month, that he had charged us for the room after we had already paid through Expedia! Just be sure to double check that you don\'t get double-charged by this motel if you use Expedia to book the reservation.

We were not able to watch Television due to not no signal and the Remote didn’t work.

We didnt get the room, I thought we were getting. I asked for a walk in shower, because my husband is wheelchair bound. The room we got was so small and there was no way the wheelchair could get into the bathroom. We had to pay extra for a walk in shower. We also didnt have any TV service for the 2 day we were there.

Front desk was completely useless. Checked in at 5 am and asked for a late checkout. Front desk said can’t do it. Then lies to me that they are sold out. Stay away from here.

Staff was very attentive, room was neat and clean. Property is older but well maintained. Great rates compared to bigger chains in the area.

I’ve tried to give a review the past few times since we have started to stay there when needed. Bryan is courteous and accommodating. As I said before they have started remodeling the rooms and so far they’ve doing great. Don’t let the outside of the place fool you to think it’s a bad motel.

El dueño siempre esta atento a las necesidades de los huespedes. Son muy atentos y muy honrados.

It was good for the price and was exactly what was expected. Clean, location was close to Eagle pass. Restaurants and everything else was nearby. Overall it was good

The staff was very nice, easy check in. Bed comfy. Room was clean. The only thing i didnt like was no bathtub, but walk in shower was nice, but i was looking foward to a soak in the tub. But since everything else was nice made up for it! The price was reasonable, close to the cassino.
