Room spacious and clean. Walls well insulated but ceiling is not. (We heard the people above us rearranging furniture, tap dancing, practicing the “stomp”, ….Beware of the corners of the bed frame. They extend beyond the mattress and like to let their presence be known to your legs. The staff are wonderful! We found them very friendly and helpful.

The property itself isn’t too bad, rooms are in good shape and it’s peaceful and quiet. But the service was not very hospitable, not to say all of the staff is responsible for the lack of service because some of them were very nice. Breakfast service, both days we stayed, always walked up to a table that was dirty and even after sitting down no one cared to clean up. The icing on the cake, I broke a coffee mug which slipped out of my hand by accident and was charged $10 USD for it, so be careful what you touch! Compared to all of the places we stayed in our two weeks in Vietnam, including places cheaper and or close to the same cost, this hotel was our least favorite.

This property is selling river view suites . Which we paid for. They are regular rooms with partial river view. It is a room holding a bed with a bathroom. No suite whatsoever. When you ask when you are not in a “suite” - they say quote “ the photos online of the suite are from a past web designer and don’t exist” So the entire room you see online that looks like a suite did not exist in my room. BEWARE. The room is a regular room without any of the suite pictured and they will do nothing to fix the situation. They either don’t have these rooms, or they are renting out regular rooms and charging for suites — unsure. Had it not been new years with no other room availability we would have left. They claim free bicycles. When we tried to get them they claimed they were all not aired up or broken. Finally complained and got 2 ancient bicycles. The only thing they will ever offer you for your complaints is a free cocktail or a ride to the airport. They will then leave notes on your bed pushing you to spend more money at their holiday parties and restaurant - not any apology. I have never taken the time to write a bad review for a hotel but this place is so egregious. There’s a list of endless other issues. And by dealing with this staff I already know exactly what they will say back to this blaming on customer or giving false answers. I tried to rectify the issues so many times before finally writing a review. Very dishonest. Travelers beware.

Stayed 4 nights

It is hard for me to say enough positive things about this hotel. General Manager Maria, Hana and Vivi as well as every other staff member went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. If you want to experience a riverfront authentic slice of Vietnam this may be your new favorite place. However if you are looking for a golf resort or some hotel chain this may not be your place. I feel like we had 5 star staff and amenities while being treated like family members. They were recovering from recent Typhoon flooding and during our stay the river rose but since we are from New Orleans we are no strangers to floodwaters. We do not panic nor did Maria and her staf. They kept us constantly informed of the river’s state and we do need to be evacuated after 5 days of heavy rain in addition to the typhoon that hit Hoi An a week prior. Ultimately Maria arranged to boat us out of the hotel safely to a private car to bring us to Danang and arranged accommodations there for us, going so far beyond the call of duty that again, well I left with tears in my eyes and joy in my heart as though leaving family. I look forward to my next visit as this will be my forever home in Vietnam.
