Stayed in CapeTown for 4 days prior to joining a cruise ship. This hotel is in a more central area and we found lots of great restaurants around the area as well as eating in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the city safety personel on each street junction made us feel safe. Roof top bar and balcony with small pool was a delight.

Hôtel bien placé. Roof top magnifique avec des cocktails excellents et bon marché. Difficile par contre de rassembler les extras et de les payer en fin de séjour. Dans de nombreux hôtels, ils prennent une empreinte de CB et on paye nos extras à la fin du séjour. Dans cet hôtel, c’est impossible.

Great location as in centre of the city, Amenities nice with a gym and swimming pool on the upper floors of the hotel. Variety of breakfast excellent, staff courteous and supportive- only knocked one point off due to a stained window which was not cleaned throughout my stay and (amusing to me) the rationing of iron boards!

Comfortable, hotel that is centrally located with a great breakfast. Rooms are a little small for two people but the view is fantastic. Gym, roof top pool, and great staff make it the perfect place to stay while in Cape Town.

O atendimento tanto da recepção como no café da manhã e no estacionamento foram impecáveis! Funcionários todos gentis e bem humorados, cordiais e amistosos. Quarto espaçoso e confortável e banheiro muito bem planejado ( tamanho e nos detalhes). Vista linda da Table Mountain! Apenas registramos a falta de reposição de produtos do banheiro como papel higiênico, lenços de papel e tapete para saída do banho. No mais, tudo foi excelente! Ganhamos de presente o valor do estacionamento ! Gratidão!

Fick ett stort rum med utsikt över Taffelberget (Tablemountain). Inte bra nog städat då det var både damm och hår lite här och var. Det var inte städat i garderoben då det låg en liten metallgrej kvar efter tidigare gäst. Bra frukost men väldigt stökigt och högljutt i lokalen. Det spelades musik hela natten någonstans i närheten av hotellet fram till kl 06.30/07.00 på morgonen vilket gjorde att jag inte fick så mycket sömn. Vaknade flera gånger under natten och från kl 05.00 gick det inte att sova längre. Hade verkligen sett fram emot en god natts sömn då det hotellet jag eg bodde på under min vistelse i Kapstaden inte hade så bra säng samt att det var väldigt lyhört...så därför bokade jag en natt på detta hotell för att få sova. Det var trist och bortkastade pengar.

Ótimo custo benefício em Cape Town e o Hotel conta com instalações novas. Na rua atrás do hotel há diversos bons restaurantes. Dois pontos negativos. Um é que o quarto quadruplo não era muito espaçoso. Outro destaque negativo foi algumas noites que passei na coluna do quarto 902. Há um bar na rua de onde escuta-se música até às 06h30 da manhã. Isso atrapalhou meu sono. Depois que troquei de quarto, não tive mais problema.

Riktigt trevligt hotell med fantastiskt frukost och gångavstånd till Tex Waterfrånt, Bree Street bakom hörnet lika som marknader & Shopping. Lilla - kan vara ett nattklubb som har lite jobbigt dunkande musik fram till 6-7 på morgonen om man har rummet på lägre våningar.

This was a good location for getting around downtown Cape Town. It was easy and inexpensive to use Uber to go to places that were a little farther away. The hotel does not have a concierge so we had to figure out a lot of things on our own. The bed was a little hard, and the pillow is very flat.

I stayed there for 9 nights and held a conference in one of their conference rooms. Everything was very well done. Location is good. Staff is nice and the rooftop is great. My only complaint being there on business, even holiday for that matter. There is a techno club that plays really loud music 5 of 7 days from open until 6 am or later and it's loud! I found there are noise complaint options online and several different avenues the hotel can and should continue to follow, even legal action. The staff said the city won't do anything. Build a better case, the city will and should support the hotel that brings millions of dollars of revenue to the city each year over a noisy techno club driving away business. I will be traveling back to Cape Town many times, and if it weren't for the noise from that club, it would be my first choice of hotels. I did get placed in a new room with on my second last night facing the ocean which was much quieter.

The SunSquare was a great place to spend our five nights in Capetown! It is a beautiful hotel, in a great location - in City Bowl and walking distance to V&A - and the staff was great. The room was wonderful and even had a view of Bo-Kaap. The full breakfast has everything and was tasty though it was a bit slow at times given some big crowds. The rooftop had a pool and also bar with outside seating and incredible views of the harbor and also Table Mountain. The hotel was very helpful arranging airport transfer. Really wonderful hotel and very reasonable.

Sauber und gut möblierte Unterkunft ! Leider ist das Personal nicht sehr motiviert, auf ein bestelltes Getränk wartet man eine Ewigkeit und das Bezahlen war ebenfalls sehr Zeitraubend! Das Essen im Restaurant musste sofort bezahlt werden und konnte nicht über die Hotelrechnung bezahlt werden.

Staff exceedingly helpful. Was able to secure luggage, until our room was ready for early check in. Minimal cost for early check in. Porters extremely helpful with luggage. Room large, quite and very comfortable. Was able to get late checkout at no additional cost. Staff very helpful with all of our needs. Excellent service at attached restaurant. Breakfast included. Sparkling water and red wine delivered to our room at no charge. Assisted with luggage as well as calling for taxi for departure. Excellent internet.. If ever in Cape Town SA, this will be our first choice for lodging.

Room large, quite and very comfortable. Was able to get late checkout at no additional cost. Staff very helpful with all of our needs. Excellent service at attached restaurant. Breakfast included. Sparkling water and red wine delivered to our room at no charge. Assisted with luggage as well as calling for taxi for departure. Excellent internet.. If ever in Cape Town SA, this will be our first choice for lodging.

The front desk or reception staff were unfriendly and rude. Our room was flooded at 11 pm and we have to pack and move to the other room. On the day we check out we ask if we can do late check out 1 pm. They said no They said 12 pm but I my friend got to check out at 2 pm. The staff did not want to help us with our luggages.

Modern property, convenient location, clean, just biggest let down is the majority of the staff. Shingy and Sophy and one other gentlemen at breakfast were great friendly and helpful. However the rest of the staff were not very pleasant. When we were leaving we asked for help booking a taxi - I gave specific instructions which were disregarded so the wrong taxi was ordered we then had to wait for another one which took longer and cost us more and delayed us getting to the airport. In addition everyone refused to help us with our bags so i held on to my kids while the driver and my husband had to sort the bags. Such a nice hotel but the staff really dampen the experience except for a few.

This was a good location for getting around downtown Cape Town. It was easy and inexpensive to use Uber to go to places that were a little farther away. The hotel does not have a concierge so we had to figure out a lot of things on our own. The bed was a little hard, and the pillow is very flat.

Great hotel in a great location. The hotel is quite modern after recently being refurbished. The room was very spacious, the bed comfy and lovely shower. The hotel is a 20-minute walk to the V&A so easy to walk to. I was on the 8th floor which was nice and quiet. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Some negatives, breakfast can be quite busy and so sometimes you had to wait a while for coffee, which is taken to order. In the rooftop bar, the pool is very small, there are only a couple of sunbeds to use so unfortunately we were not able to use the pool. Service from the bar was very slow when asking for the bill and paying. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Stayed in CapeTown for 4 days prior to joining a cruise ship. This hotel is in a more central area and we found lots of great restaurants around the area as well as eating in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the city safety personel on each street junction made us feel safe. Roof top bar and balcony with small pool was a delight.

Beautiful new property. Location excellent to explore market and muslim section but evening can look bit scary as there are homeless around. I wouldn’t mind staying rather here and take Uber around that is about $4 to go anywhere around town and be in nice property than to be at Waterfront that is located close to the restaurants but is very wore down. Loved this hotel

Perfect hotel in VF&A area centrally located in between the wharf and other areas. Nearby to loads of restaurants, bars, shops and markets. The hotel is very nice and includes breakfast (eggs cooked to order, meats, cheeses, yogurt, breads, coffee, etc). Also dined at the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed our meal. Internet is good and includes unlimited use. FNB ATM is 1 min away that has 24 hr security. Suggest using Uber for transportation to/from the airport. The transportation areanged by the hotel is cash only and 2x Uber rates. The staff are attentive and nice. We will stay here again on our next visit to Cape Town.

The SunSquare was a great place to spend our five nights in Capetown! It is a beautiful hotel, in a great location - in City Bowl and walking distance to V&A - and the staff was great. The room was wonderful and even had a view of Bo-Kaap. The full breakfast has everything and was tasty though it was a bit slow at times given some big crowds. The rooftop had a pool and also bar with outside seating and incredible views of the harbor and also Table Mountain. The hotel was very helpful arranging airport transfer. Really wonderful hotel and very reasonable.

Hotel nicely located close to local markets, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Area is a bit rough, with homeless people begging and following you for quite a while But not as had as I expected. Police and safety officers were present on most corners. If vigilant and avoiding certain streets. one can have nice walks to explore the city and shop local art, clothes and memorabilia. Rooms not huge but comfortable for family of four. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of option and available until 11 on Sunday. Hotel must have been renovated not long ago and looked modern. Sauber und gut möblierte Unterkunft ! Leider ist das Personal nicht sehr motiviert, auf ein bestelltes Getränk wartet man eine Ewigkeit und das Bezahlen war ebenfalls sehr Zeitraubend! Das Essen im Restaurant musste sofort bezahlt werden und konnte nicht über die Hotelrechnung bezahlt werden.

Hôtel bien placé. Roof top magnifique avec des cocktails excellents et bon marché. Difficile par contre de rassembler les extras et de les payer en fin de séjour. Dans de nombreux hôtels, ils prennent une empreinte de CB et on paye nos extras à la fin du séjour. Dans cet hôtel, c’est impossible.

The included breakfast was amazing, the pool and rooftop are beautiful. Restaurant great. Despite reading negative reviews, we found every staff member to be incredibly helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Family of 4 - 9 and 13 year of kids.

Very nice room and hotel. Area ok to walk in, good restaurants nearby. AC didnt quite work as well as we hoped but think maybe it wasnt offered during "summer" months. Only had free breakfast in restaurant - staff friendly but service not great. Had to track down and pour our own coffee 2 out of 3 days
