Acanto Hotel Playa del Carmen, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Tout était très bien! À l’exception qu’un gérant nous a volé $200USD dans le coffre-fort! Seul un gérant pouvais voler avec le module de programmation. Il a accusé les femmes de chambres mais elles n’ont aucune possibilité de voler dans le coffre. J’aurais aimé obtenir une compensation mais rien n’a été offert car ceci aurait confirmé la responsabilité du gérant!

Magnifique petit hôtel boutique en plein cœur de la ville. La cour intérieure est très jolie et calme en tout temps. La gentillesse du personnel … que dire de notre charmant Monsieur Miguel … d’une grande gentillesse. Nous conseillons cet endroit dans hésiter et nous y retournerons 🌴

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were great, the location was great, and we really loved having multiple bedrooms and a kitchen. It was a great setup to enjoy Playa Del Carmen but also to on tour to the Mayan sites and other attractions.

We stayed in the ocean view penthouse suite which was nice, clean, and spacious, with a full kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The ocean view is somewhat limited, only able to see a little of it from the living room and no view from the bedroom. The private rooftop patio was up a flight of stairs next to the room; the patio was lovely but because it had no shade (we asked if they had a beach umbrella but they said no), it could really only be enjoyed for a few hours in the late afternoon when there was some shade. Additionally it was up a flight of stairs outside of our suite so it wasn’t quite as convenient as if it had been right outside our suite. We had rented a car and there was free parking but it was a little cumbersome as it was behind a padlocked gate, requiring us to get out of the car and walk into the lobby each time to have them open the gate for us to enter and exit. All that being said, it was an excellent and very convenient location within a few minutes of lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were all very pleasant. There is a pool on the ground floor with a surrounding shady patio. All in all, a spacious and pleasant suite in a great location but just with a few caveats as above.

Miguel made us feel like locals. Called us by name every time we saw him, helped with everything! WAY above and beyond service, friendly and accommodating! Will be back!
