The common areas were redone, modern and clean. The lobby was welcoming and well appointed and the pool is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The beach area is well appointed with new umbrellas and chairs and is private, convenient and a perfect place to spend the day. On the negative, the food at the restaurant for lunch at the pool is equivalent to airport lounge food. Also, while the rooms are large especially considering European standards with a very comfortable king size bed, they are old and NOT updated. Old carpet, old appointments, no usb outlets. On the positive, our view from the room was spectacular, front facing sea with a nice balcony and it was quiet where we slept well in the aforementioned comfy bed. We still enjoyed our stay very much, but wish the rooms were updated to the standard of the common areas and price tag.

Recent stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Giardini Naxos was quite disappointing. The location is far from the main tourist area, making it inconvenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring. We were two travelers, and unfortunately, one of us became violently ill within an hour of eating at the poolside restaurant/bar. This forced us to extend our stay while recovering. Despite the circumstances, the hotel staff showed little concern or flexibility. They denied any connection between the illness and the food, instead claiming it was “an illness going around,” which was clearly untrue since the other guest was completely fine. As Marriott Bonvoy members, we were also disappointed by the lack of support. When extending our stay, we were quoted “discounted” Bonvoy rates that were actually higher than what was available through other booking sites. The staff’s dismissive and unhelpful attitude made a difficult situation even worse. The amenities were equally underwhelming. The pool was far too cold to enjoy — no one was swimming, and anyone who tried quickly left. The gym was small, with limited equipment, and several machines were dated or worn. Overall, this property feels underwhelming for the price and does not live up to the standards typically expected from a Delta Marriott or Bonvoy hotel. The pool area was nice but there were limited umbrellas. Beach looked nice in front but we never used it. Rooms are terrible, so are the beds - all needs updating which I assume is part of the hotel plans over time. Gym was bad and needs updating - should find a place to work out with a view, rather than in the basement. Staff were all very nice and pleasant. Overall what we expected for the value in this area.

nice and comfortable hotel for family. The only negative was that the pool would close at 6.30. We usually would do day trip and come back to the hotel around 5 ish , kids wanted to relax and cool off , after all the walks and sightseeing, but we would have to leave the pool at 6.30. Otherwise hotel was clean and staff was accommodating

When you first walk in, it’s very lovely. The staff is excellent. The area with the beautiful pool overlooking the water the very nice private beach and the facilities are top notch and the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. They make you omelettes and pancakes, which is very unusual for an Italian hotel. Only a couple of negatives, which was the parking that’s not on the hotel premises, but you have to walk about 100 m outside the hotel and the soundproofing of the room. You can hear the people in the hallway outside of your room talking, which makes me think they can also hear us inside our room. Overall, though I would rate this as definitely a hotel that will not disappoint. And I will definitely return back.

Breakfast was amazing, staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are getting a bit dated, but are very well kept. The only things that were not-so-great was prices of especially the spa and beach. 25 euro per day for umbrella and two beds on a rock beach seemed steep. If you plan on being at the beach several days I would consider buying an umbrella and chairs and using the public beach next door.

Second time we stayed here, the room is a bit outdated but clean and spacious. Breakfast is amazing but a bit crowded since its a large hotel. Beach and sunbeds are nice but unfortunately comes with a daily fee. We are probably coming back next time in Sicily and Taormina.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming – always kind and attentive. The hotel’s indoor and outdoor areas were beautiful and spotless. Every time we encountered the staff, they greeted us with a smile and were ready to assist with anything we needed. The only minor downside was that the lunch menu in the bar/restaurant was quite limited, which meant we often had to go out to find something a bit more exciting. Absolutely beautiful resort with stunning views of the ocean. The beach was truly breathtaking—crystal clear water made it feel like paradise. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with plenty of variety. Staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we loved that there were great restaurants just steps away across the street. Highly recommend!

Our room flooded on the first night because of a blocked drain. The staff took 2 hours to attend and then did not place us in another room even though the room had been flooded too. We were then told we could swim in the pool until 8pm, however they made everyone get out at 6.30pm. Tv did not work. Terrible experience and would not recommend. The hotel needs to work on their customer service

Yes ocean was visible. I didn’t use the spa as services were costly. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful however the rooms are in need of an update.

Good location and staff friendly and attentive. The property however is too dated. they have done some renovations in the common areas which look nice but the rooms, hallways to rooms, etc look as they are 20 years old. Bathroom fixtured need desperate upgrade. A shame as the hotel has more potential but need some urgent investments.

The property had updated the lobby, however all the rooms OLD! The beds felt like there were springs digging into your back. Our fridge, blow drier, and safe all did not work. They brought us a new fridge, but nothing else was resolved. The tub had rust. They are in desperate need of a re-amp of the rooms. Pool and beach were nice! If you’re okay with suboptimal sleeping conditions, stay here!

Salvador at the front desk was the best. The spa was an abandoned basement and the mani pedi was scary. We went to the restaurant and waited 15 min as servers passed us and looked down their nose at us. We went right across the stree that is lined with restaurants and folks very happy to see us. We made a point to never eat at the hotel. The room was beautiful ut hot as hell, ac never got it cool. For a Marriott, not up to par.

When you first walk in, it’s very lovely. The staff is excellent. The area with the beautiful pool overlooking the water the very nice private beach and the facilities are top notch and the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. They make you omelettes and pancakes, which is very unusual for an Italian hotel. Only a couple of negatives, which was the parking that’s not on the hotel premises, but you have to walk about 100 m outside the hotel and the soundproofing of the room. You can hear the people in the hallway outside of your room talking, which makes me think they can also hear us inside our room. Overall, though I would rate this as definitely a hotel that will not disappoint. And I will definitely return back.

The property was beautiful and the entire staff was so helpful and accommodating. Nothing was of want. From the front desk staff, to the restaurant and bar waitstaff as well as the housekeeping and maintenance, every was great. We felt right at home and very welcomed. They even assisted with helping book certain day trips and booking revaluations before our arrival. Would highly recommend and wonderful for parents traveling with children!

The outside are is incredible. The room was mostly outdated but sufficient. The reason for my low rating was the staff. We regularly stay at Marriotts and the staff left a lot to be desired. They had to call for our luggage 4 times over 1.5 hours at checkin. Additionally we hung a breakfast order outside our door and it was never picked up. I took it to the front desk where the person blamed me for not calling. I told him it was within the hour that I had ordered in time for us to eat and make our tour. He told me it wasn’t him it was room service. I asked them to call and it never happened. Clearly an oversight that could have been easily resolved but resulted in dissatisfaction. Overall we felt like the staff did not come close to Marriott level of service for a resort of this caliber.

Mostly a good experience. Two questions were rudely answered by two male guest relations. One was about lack of Airconditioning (it’s just hot outside- it is what it is). The other was for a pair of scissors to cut a string off my hat (he swiftly grabbed a pair and cut the string in the middle and threw the scissors in the drawer and went back into a conversation with the female employee dismissing me). Stunning hotel in a stunning location. The hotel is right on the beach, but also has a stunning pool if you prefer. Its within walking distance of Giardini Naxos if you fancy a stroll, or there are plenty of bars and restaurants literally just over the road. The Hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and a short distance (approx 15-20 mins walk) from the more lively area of Giardini Naxos. There are numerous excellent restaurants and shops within yards of the hotel. The bus stop is just around the corner with good transport links to nearby towns. The hotel was wonderful; great facilities, with enormous, traditionally decorated, very comfortable bedrooms, while other areas of the hotel were more contemporary but equally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. An added joy was Mount Etna right there in the background! This holiday and hotel exceeded our expectations and we had absolutely no complaints.

Spacious rooms. Lots of pillows, comfortable bed, outlets, full length mirror, coffe/tea, bolted safe and all the needs of a traveler in the room. Every room has a water front view and lovely balcony. The bus is ok if you like to wait but there were taxi’s outside continually who took us everywhere. The average charge to the marina was 15euros (this is an easy walk from the hotel along a garden with Greek ruins), Taormina was $25-35 depending on time of day and distance. The taxis are easy to call and quickly pick up. The grounds are well kept. Pool and poolside restaurant and bar are “here to help”. The beach is rocky and entrance is steep. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was fine for what we needed though a bit far out from Taormina so cabs were expensive at €30 each way. Breakfast was ok but fantastic. Staff never met your eyes so trying to get service for tea or an omelette was tricky.

The common areas were redone, modern and clean. The lobby was welcoming and well appointed and the pool is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The beach area is well appointed with new umbrellas and chairs and is private, convenient and a perfect place to spend the day. On the negative, the food at the restaurant for lunch at the pool is equivalent to airport lounge food. Also, while the rooms are large especially considering European standards with a very comfortable king size bed, they are old and NOT updated. Old carpet, old appointments, no usb outlets. On the positive, our view from the room was spectacular, front facing sea with a nice balcony and it was quiet where we slept well in the aforementioned comfy bed. We still enjoyed our stay very much, but wish the rooms were updated to the standard of the common areas and price tag.

Great stay! Amazing and attentive staff, beautiful property. The view is amazing and the restaurant was great. Wish the buffet was a bit better for dinner. Also I think they should crack down more on saving pool lounge chairs, everyone was waking up early and reserving them for the whole day with their stuff on the loungers. Half the loungers were not in use but filled with people’s stuff, maybe be more strict with this. Overall a great stay!!!

Recent stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Giardini Naxos was quite disappointing. The location is far from the main tourist area, making it inconvenient for sightseeing, dining, and exploring. We were two travelers, and unfortunately, one of us became violently ill within an hour of eating at the poolside restaurant/bar. This forced us to extend our stay while recovering. Despite the circumstances, the hotel staff showed little concern or flexibility. They denied any connection between the illness and the food, instead claiming it was “an illness going around,” which was clearly untrue since the other guest was completely fine. As Marriott Bonvoy members, we were also disappointed by the lack of support. When extending our stay, we were quoted “discounted” Bonvoy rates that were actually higher than what was available through other booking sites. The staff’s dismissive and unhelpful attitude made a difficult situation even worse. The amenities were equally underwhelming. The pool was far too cold to enjoy — no one was swimming, and anyone who tried quickly left. The gym was small, with limited equipment, and several machines were dated or worn. Overall, this property feels underwhelming for the price and does not live up to the standards typically expected from a Delta Marriott or Bonvoy hotel. This hotel is perfect in every way. Private beach and beautiful pool area with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was outstanding with chef prepared omelette, poached ir fried eggs and many other offerings. Bed are extremely comfortable. Great restaurants in the hotel and directly across the street. Bus to Taormina is a 5 min walk!

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. The property is clean, but in need of some updating. The staff was wonderful, particularly Lorenzo and Giovanni at breakfast and William was helpful at check-in. The parking area is a short walk. We liked the fact that there were a number of restaurants/bars right across the street. In particular I would recommend O’Neils- amazing food and a fabulous family who runs it. The hotel has a very nice included breakfast with a chef cooking omelettes and eggs as well as great pastries.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming – always kind and attentive. The hotel’s indoor and outdoor areas were beautiful and spotless. Mycket fint men aningen bedagat hotell. Vi hade en svit som var fantastisk förutom röda sammetstapeter som fransats av slitage, trasiga och lösa klinker i badrummet. En renovering av rummet borde skett för länge sedan. I övrigt var rummet och hotellet UNDERBART i varje avseende med gym, pool, strand, trädgård, etc. Servicen på hotellets lunchrestaurang var katastrof men det gjorde inget då det fans ett dussin magnifika restauranger längs gatan utanför.

Cool spot to vacation. Most of the staff are great. Some want to argue when you are simply asking a question. Breakfast is very meh. Don’t even try to call room service because they never answer. Instead just call the front desk, but don’t make it too complicated.

Upgraded to deluxe room which was big and clean with sea view. Only downside building work started above our heads at 8am. Breakfast very good. Shame no freshly squeezed orange juice but apart from that, perfect.

The place was nice but dated, especially the rooms. Some of the exterior windows looked like they might fall out (the front of the building). There were nowhere near enough sunbeds. The breakfast was nice, but there was no variety between the days. It was the same offering every morning.
