Coastal Stone Hideaway with Stunning Scenery

We had a wonderful stay. Kitries is a great place to explore the area, and the house was exactly what we were looking for. The owner, whom we met several times, is charming. I would definitely recommend this rental.

The pictures are accurate! Bedrooms are small but the outdoor space more than makes up for it. Having only one bathroom for our 5 people was fine as it is separate from bedrooms. Beautiful garden and fruit trees. Hostess was very attentive and friendly.

Our stay was very disappointing. we were supposed to stay here for 4 nights but left after 1 night because we didn't sleep all night because of barking dogs on the property and were woken up from 7.45 by construction work. we left after 1 night and didn't get our money back. very disappointing!

Nice stay

This is a stone summer home with the most magnificent patio/deck on the first floor providing a totally unobstructed view of the Messinian Gulf. Sunsets are stunning from this place. Finding a place with a view of the gulf was our priority this visit, and we found it. The home is rustic, and in February when we stayed it was quite cold but that was no problem for us. The mini split heater worked just fine. There are beds on both levels, we stayed entirely on the 2nd level with the bathroom and a door to the fabulous deck. The inside staircase to the 2nd floor might be a difficulty for persons with mobility challenges but we are both relatively fit 65 year olds and we just ascended and descended slowly and held on to rails. No problem:-). Also, there is a more manageable outdoor staircase that can get you down to ground floor too. No pans in the kitchen (that we could find) for cooking so bring your food. A hot water kettle and drip coffee machine is provided and that was great for us. The owner, Eleni, is a delight. She made check in easy, greeted us our first day, and left us some of her freshly pressed olive oil. There are 2 very friendy girl cats, Kitty and Loco, that kept us company for this visit. We loved our stay here and would stay here again. Thank you Eleni!
