Torre Guaceto Greenblu Resort

We were given this accomodation after our awful experience in Ostuni. It was out in the sticks with nothing nearby. We arrived late so were offered dinner, which we welcomed as there was no alternative nearby. The food and rooms are basic with hard lumpy pillows and no real room service, attempting to make a bed and not actually do anything else is not room service in a so called 4 star hotel.. No kettle in the room and no wifi or phone signal. We ventured out one night but found the surrounding area devoid of life with everything shut. If we hadnt had a car we would have struggled. We checked out a day early but were charged 65 euro for our complimentary dinner. We explained, asked to speak to a manager but no one turned up. Expedia's customer service is not great when things go wrong. Putting us out in the sticks when we had booked a stay in ostuni was a horrendous experience. Thos hotel is tired and barely has the basics so save your money and do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good. The area itself is pretty empty and the nearest town with a supermarket seems to be about seven or eight miles away, so you really need a car, and parking at the resort is free and plentiful. Also an easy drive from the airport. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Le personnel est trés accueuillant,un buffet sympa mais il mériterait plus de choix et surtout plus de quantité,beaucoup de choses manquait dés le milieu de service. Le bémol c'est la chambre , la propreté...poussière et cheveux au sol,sol de salle de bain gondolé,matelas non confortable( gros trou au milieu) Hotel isolé,prévoir absolument une voiture, Dans l'ensemble bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel.

Accommodatie zit op mooie plek, personeel zeer vriendelijk. Wel achterstallig onderhoud op het terrein als in de kamers. Komt mogelijk ook door de periode waarin we er waren.

Inizio con segnalare che la struttura non rispecchia in nessun settore i requisiti di un 4 stelle e sottolineo i motivi: -Nessun apparecchio telefonico in camera quindi nessun collegamento con la reception/servizio clienti; -Non c’è il servizio trasporto bagagli; -Nessuna connessione a internet; -Mancavano i doppi cuscini; -Nessun riassetto camera pomeridiano; -Armadio senza ante molto spartano e con 4 grucce; -Arredamento molto spartano della camera e del bagno; -Manca il necessario per la cura e l’igiene; -Fon del bagno non a norma perché posto sul lavabo; -Poca cura nelle strutture in generale; -Accessori bagno rotti/arrugginiti; -Piatto doccia scheggiato In vari punti; -Nessun servizio lavanderia; -Nessun servizio prima colazione in camera; -Ristorante paragonabile a una mensa sia per l’ambiente che per il servizio del self service assistito; -Personale in generale poco qualificato in tutti i settori. -Nessuna varietà di alimenti soprattutto a colazione mancava sempre la frutta, tipi di yoghurt, frutta secca ecc. -Cibi poco genuini e non tipici; -Scarsa cura nella preparazione dei piatti.
