The hotel is in great condition and has a nice bar in the Gino D’Acampo restaurant. The river view rooms have a great outlook, although you can see into other rooms. Some rooms come with a free ‘mini bar’ although you only get soft drinks and 2 beers. The location is right on the river and you can walk alongside to other parts of the city. There are nice bars and restaurants nearby.

Entering parking space is tricky. Need to talk to a receptionist every time reenter to open the gate.

The hotel is in a great location, everything we wanted to do was accessible by foot, the room was nice, staff were friendly. It was disappointing that the gym was closed but otherwise we enjoyed our visit

Parking could be much better. Service in restaurant/bar could be better. I was seated in bar for a snack and after 10 mins, gave up.

New property, well appointed, comfortable firm bed. Limited(15 lots) paid onsite parking. Noisy clubbing area.

I had a lovely stay at the INNSiDE. The hotel was modern and spotlessly clean, with a good gym and a reasonable breakfast. The hotel is walkable from the city centre and railway station. The location next to the Tyne offers fantastic views and there are plenty of dining options close to the hotel

Nice modern clean hotel located by the river, good size bedroom but at the front looking onto apartments. Parking is an issue as they only have 15 spaces which are only allocated when checking in. Staff were friendly and polite, the food and beverage were good.

Located along the fabulous Quayside walkway. The breakfast is excellent. The onsite restaurant serves delicious food and the hotel is very close to other amazing eateries. We loved our room and found it beautifully quiet.

Third time we have stayed here in less than 12 months. Location is great and within walking distance to everywhere central. Great location beside the river for walks and exercising. Gym set up is very good with a mini studio to do a virtual spin class on a large screen. Restaurant staff in the morning are lacking serious training and attention to detail which really lets the hotel standards down. The hotel parking is a nightmare with only room for approx. 15 cars in one row, I have seen the Man City coach park in the car park alongside the hotel opposite the parked cars and yet you're not allowed to park cars in the same space? There is also parking available underneath the actual hotel but this is for Travelodge guest next door, this doesn't make any sense at all, when this hotel is much bigger than the Travelodge!!

Ive stayed at Melia hotels in Liverpool and Newcastle and both are really nice. I had Ceasar Salad as room service and it was excellent. Nice to get comp drinks in the fridge as well. This time however the room was dirty. There was a lot of dust in the wadrobe area, and my white socks were black after walking around the room for an evening. There was also a damp smell coming from the bathroom which joins onto the main room. The rooms are nice thogh, and a large dest to work from, the bed was lovely and loads of towels. Staff on reception were great and there is a good little gym which I had to myself until 5:30 then it got a little busy

Hotel in general and rooms were decorated and furnished to a high standard. And all areas exceptionally clean.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly, easy check in. Beautiful hotel, super clean. Breakfast was also excellent! Very fresh, lots of choices with hot foods, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast, and made to order eggs. Loved it!

This hotel is my happy respite place to stay…upgraded to the 6th floor…only criticism was it was two beds side by side…the zip was burst so bed separated…which meant I couldn’t chillax in the middle …I answered the door at 11.30 a.m. to a lady saying sorry with a clip board! Even although the sign said busy dreaming do not disturb…I will keep returning it’s a fabulous hotel with the best staff …sad to see on stripping the bed to help housekeeping that the matress protector was stained as was the quilt with lots of urine stains …Josh on reception is the heart of innside he’s a lovely integral young man a great asset to innside

Couldnt say a bad word about this hotel. From the minute we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and well equiped for a comfortable pleasant stay.

Shower would not get hot. Room max temp far too low.

Very new hotel with super comfortable beds our studio was spacious had magnificent views down to the Tyne bridge. Excellent soundproofing allowed three great night’s sleep.

Pillows were awful, choice was too soft or rock hard but that’s obviously personal preference. Everything else was great.

Lovely rooms, and right on the quayside. Fridge full of local soft drinks-all FOC. Great shower, comfy beds. Lovely breakfast. Ten minute walk from the train station.

This has to be one of the best hotels in Newcastle, it was so clean and fairly quiet at night offering a good nights sleep, bed was comfy and absolutely HUGEEE, staff were lovely with easy check-in and the quayside (river) view from the window was lovely. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Not bad, not great.. theres better hotels in this price range. Parking is terrible and the desk is very unhelpful bordering on rude, this could have been a one off but the way my wife was spoken to when asking about parking caused us to start our trip stressed and annoyed. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are not great, toilet was in a cupboard and the shower is in the bedroom, views of the river from the "balcony" are hidden by a large muddy field (the roof)

Friendly and efficient reception, lovely large and comfortable room, good pizza restaurant. We had a great view too. No complaints at all, would definitely come back. Only thing to note is the shower is part of the main room. It's mostly frosted, but still weird to me. I hate that, but many people won't mind.

Second time staying here and don’t think k I’ll be back. I booked a room with a balcony which the door didn’t open so couldn’t go out, the hotel maintenance staff came to repair but stood and looked and said I think it needs reporting. This morning having a 12pm check out thought we would take the opportunity to have a lay in and a chilled morning for the cleaning staff keep coming in and out of our room even though I’d put the do not disturb sign on the door.

Well appointed room kept immaculately. The staff were amazing from check in onwards. They were both efficient and friendly. We were made very welcome especially by the restaurant staff led by Dennis, the manager. The food in Gino’s restaurant was excellent and plentiful both at breakfast and dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at INNSiDE Newcastle in October for one night while visiting the city for a show. It was a great excuse for a short getaway and a nice meal. Normally, we’d stay at Malmaison or Dakota, but on this occasion, their prices were ridiculously high—so we chose INNSiDE instead, and we’re glad we did. We stayed in a River View Room, and the online check-in process was smooth, even though it required a bit more information than expected (which is becoming the norm these days across the UK and EU). We received an early notification that our room was ready, and upon arrival, simply scanned the QR code from the email—our room key was instantly dispensed from a machine. Perfect! Checkout was even easier: just select your departure time and drop off the key. While the exterior of the hotel may not be the most striking, the interior is stylish and welcoming. The lobby features thoughtful local touches, and the room itself was spotless, quiet, and well-equipped for a short stay. A standout feature was the complimentary minibar stocked with soft drinks and beer—a lovely touch. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered views of the River Tyne and High Level Bridge, which were enjoyable despite the rainy weather. Prior to our stay, we contacted the hotel about a special occasion and were assisted by a staff member named Stavros, who was incredibly helpful and ensured everything went smoothly - so a big thank you to Stavros for this. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.

Everyone at the front desk was so nice and helpful every day I was there....Room was actually a good size, VERY clean and even had a nice view of the Tyne! Bar was also very energetic and full of activity. Close to everything. Highly recommend.

Our check-in was split up into two (given that one of the rooms within our party was not ready for check in) The girl who checked us in for on the first occasion was miserable and was not wearing a name badge (otherwise I would have complained about her) She failed to provide details regarding our stay including breakfast service times. The second time we checked in to get keys for the outstanding room the male member of staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay, although disappointing that there was no hash browns left and no replenishment.

We celebrated a birthday with you and received a complimentary drink. We were made to feel welcome.

Hotel is lovely in many ways. However it is on a main road which is noisy, late into the night. They were kind enough to move me after the first night but it was still noisy. That said, I am a light sleeper. Modern, clean hotel. Very friendly staff who seem to enjoy their work. Central location.

Nice hotel on the Quayside. Room nice but a bit clinical. Good breakfast but didn't like the fact that some of the overseas guests were making loud FaceTime calls at their tables during breakfast that made it difficult to have a conversation. Several other guests also noticed and had to intervene as the hotel staff seemed to just ignore that fact and a guest was left to ask the person to switch the volume down on the phone. Also area wasn’t pleasant to walk into the town in the evening

Really well located on the Quayside and some rooms had views of the Tyne Bridge (though you could see some people's bathrooms from the riverside which was a bit odd?!) Staff were super friendly and I was able to check-in early which was appreciated. About a 10 min walk to the station though would get a taxi if you have lots of baggage as it's a steep hill from the hotel to the station. Nice bar area and room service available 24/7.

Lovely Hotel in a great location. Spent the weekend here as a weekend break. The hotel is right on the quayside and in a great area for restaurants and bars.

Staff at breakfast entrance look as if she was treating me to a free breakfast. Hash browns were soggy on some days. And for god sake, pls change up the bf menu say every 2 days? Stayed for 6 nights, same breakfast every single morning. Egg station were not manned. When I requested for bedroom slippers, reception shared that my type of room booking did not include bedroom slippers. For god sake, how much can a pair of bedroom slippers cost? Nice to have complementary beverage in the room. Location while beside river tyne is troublesome to get to from train station.

The only disappointment for us, after five nights, was the restaurant. The evening meals were a great let down. Prices were high, and the food plain. Most main courses did NOT come with potatoes, vegetables, or a sauce. Service was slow, and bar prices exorbitant. Sadly I cannot recommend anywhere nearby that was any better.

Fabulous riverside location. Amazing rooms. Really friendly staff. Great bar with buzzy atmosphere. Really great breakfast and Gino Italian restaurant. Walkable to town or the arena. Would HIGHLY recommend

Hot breakfast was luke warm at 6.30 am. Kitchen sorted out quickly

The hotel is very nice and it's a great location. Rooms were spacious and clean. Overall, everything was excellent apart from one issue. During dinner in the restaurant there was constant loud, annoying tinny background music which made conversation difficult.
