I think our only disappointment was roof top bar was closed most of the time we were there. However you could go across the street and purchase your choice of food and drink and bring it up to pool area. So that was a win win. Mexican across the street was amazing food and drinks as well. We would stay here again before a cruise or after. It was relaxing and enjoyable.

Staff are EXCELLENT so accommodating. Excellent fitness area and gorgeous rooftop pool and pool chairs. We will definitely return. This hotel is a diamond!

It was a very crowed area. I didn't like that you are forced to pay 32.00 each night for valet parking when you've already paid to stay at the hotel. I was not informed about that when I booked the room. Also at checkin we weren't told we had to use our room card to operate the elevator. Other that, the hotel itself eas okay.

The property was really nice and pleasant. Very reasonable prices for a great room and ambiance. I only gave it 4 stars for two reasons: 1. The elevators went out several times and we had to use the stairs; thank goodness it wasn’t with our luggage 2. Valet was below average at best. To get my vehicle, it was supposed to be a link to use, but it was only for one use, and we had to consistently wait for our vehicle.

Balcony on the street side is awful it’s literally right off the highway so very loud and the balcony itself is so ugly looking. They switched me to the other side which was the view of the parking garage of the building next door but the actual balcony was nicer. The pool water was absolutely disgusting; cloudy & murky. Nothing is really in walking distance so be prepared to spend money on Ubers. The free car service app they recommend isn’t good. I waited over 10 minutes before cancelling the ride because the driver who accepted the ride didn’t move once accepted , he just stayed in his location. Some of the Uber drivers over here don’t know where they are going , they don’t listen to their gps. One driver tried to drop me off in front of a parking garage and I said this isn’t the destination and then he drove around in circles , I started to feel unsafe so I got out and walked the rest of the way. If you want to be downtown stay closer to las olas /riverwalk so you have easy walk ability and things around. The surrounding area of this hotel is not the best , there are some pockets of area that are questionable and just looks a little ghetto-ish. For a Marriott hotel I was expecting better but was highly disappointed.

The hotel itself is very nice and new, the staff is very friendly and serviceable. I am very well pleased. They are pet friendly and that part was also wonderful. However the pool area has something that could be fixed- please clean under the beds- the trash from the parties is swept under the beds. That's the only downside here. Otherwise it's close to everything, walkable to Las Olas Blvd and only 2 miles or so from the beach.

Overall nice hotel, late checkout available for Marriot members. However they have daily parties on the rooftop pool. These parties are definitely not family/ kid friendly and people that are not attending the hotel are welcomed to use the pool/ rooftop with an extra few. So it is not exclusive to customers booking the hotel.

First room we had smelled so bad and they couldn’t move us until the morning. We stayed overnight after they promised another room and the second room had roach and toilet leak. Also was hearing that parties caused people to leave from noise. I wouldn’t stay here again at all. On top of that was celebrating my gf bday which they made not comfortable for us.

Property and service was great! Very close to airport, cruise port, dining, and other attractions. Loved my room. Spacious and bed was comfy. However, I do have one small complaint about the cleanliness. There was a used cotton swab on the floor when I came in. Also there were areas by the window where the carpet was soaking wet. Not sure why. There was no smell, and I'm hoping it was because it was being cleaned. I didn't complain because I was only there for one night and everything else was impeccable. I also would like to commend the young lady who worked at the bar/restaurant in the morning/afternoon (I didn't get her name). She was super sweet, professional, and kind. Every interaction I had with her was great. Would definitely come back again!

Overall everything is walking distance which is convenient. However this is the second time I stay and housekeeping is not housekeeping. I took pictures of hair in the shower old soap a bug on the wall a stain on the toilet. Very disgusting I had to clean the room before I was able to enjoy my stay. This was the same issue I had last time staff is great aside from housekeeping. The only reason I stay here is because it’s close to my reason I travel.

Very disappointing experience for a Marriot hotel. 1. The bedding wasn't replaced after the previous guest :-( we took pictures, the staff moved us to a different room; 2. nobody cleaned our room during this 4 night stay - I called front desk and ask them to send someone - no results. 3. pool area is very loud and dirty (just look under the sofas around the pool. Other guests mention the same on their reviews. Something is really wrong with this hotel management.

The rug at the room was full of dog hair. Rather disgusting. Told reception and they didn’t do anything about it. If dogs are allowed, vacuum should be a must No backup system for outages, could not check in. Never even got a key to the room. I checked out and never got a key…

The hotel need a good clean up. In our room there was old pieces of pretzel on the carpet. The bathroom was kinda of old with rust stains in the shower/bath, not what was selected at booking. Very noisy hotel. The pool area was not clean either. Hotel Restaurant had no service in the morning we went. We left after 15-min waiting same with other customer. For the price and reputation was not worth it. The area have other options that are better and cheaper. Front desk hotel are very nice!

The hotel is considerably new but poorly maintained and dirty. Stains and splatted on walls, concaving bed, disgusting and rough towels. I had to change rooms because the first one had bugs flying around. The second room had no bugs but had holes in ceiling and weird smell. I was extremely disappointed.

The costumer service at the hotel was great, everyone was quite pleasant and willing to help. The hotel was also very clean, and had a nice vibe. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, I would've been happy staying for longer. My only complaints are that the fridge was tiny, so there was barely any space and it didn't really keep your drinks as cold as a regular fridge. Also, the AC wasn't cool enough, so it felt a bit hot at night Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

I was very disappointed with the Marriot. My room was very hot and had a foul smell. I noticed the caflet had been wet for 2 days so i asked for a room change and to my surprise the room was the same thing! The heat was still an issue. There was no complimentary water which should be complimentary being the price was not cheap and my other marriot experience give complimentary water in the room. Im not satisfied!

Overall it’s a nice hotel although my room was surrounded by apartments and a parking garage and basically on US 1 so I heard motorcycles and such throughout the night. The pillows are are the kind that deflate when you put your head down so I had a hard time getting comfortable and woke up with a sore neck.

Greeted with a smile upon check-in on June 27 and greeted with a smile checkout on June 29. Valet, Front Desk, maintenance staff were beyond customer service expectation. Had to relocate rooms due to faulty air conditioner, but was moved with professionalism and kindness. Wish the beach was a little closer as it appeared on the site. Otherwise, I'll be back

Each time, they assured us that the rooms assigned were indeed high-floor and far from the elevator. However, when we got to the rooms, they were located directly beside the elevators. We could clearly hear every conversation from guests passing by, making it impossible to rest comfortably. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience, and the staff’s repeated assurances felt dishonest. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet stay.

We had a very nice stay at the Courtyard by Marriot Fort Lauderdale Downtown. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and when we checked into a king suite to find our pullout bed was broken, they moved us to a new room when their engineer found it wouldn't be easily fixed. The pool was perfect for lounging with friends, the onsite restaurant was delicious, and the location was great. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

I absolutely loved this property! The pool area was beautiful and always had an event going on. The staff were so nice and I really enjoyed my visit. I would love to thank the two clerk women front desk Bri and Ms MDJ. Always very knowable about any questions I had. Both went above and beyond to make me and my spouse feel welcomed. We will be back.

Arrived at 630PM, checked in and entered the room, placed all my personal belongings into the room. Went out for dinner and meet with family. Got back to the hotel at 230am and couldn't access our room. No one at the front desk for over 3 hours. When front desk rep arrived he told us we will have to sleep in our car because there's nothing he can do. He called the cops and said i was threatening him. Cops arrived i explained to them the situation and the front desk rep made up a lie and said he couldn't open my door. The cops and I went up to the room and they tried everything on their end to get me in, then the front desk rep then showed up with a device that he plugged into the door and opened the door for us. Didnt get into the room until almost 7AM.

THEY CANCELLED MY RESERVATIONS EVEN AFTER I CONFIRM IT THE DAY BEFORE. WE WERE STUCK LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HOTEL AT 2:00 AM. ICE BEEN A MEMBER FOR LONG TIME AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN-JUST TERRIBLE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH NO EXCUSE AND DIDNT COMPENSATE FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

Check in was excellent, valet service was excellent. Generally the front desk lacked professionalism, when approached they were either snacking or on their phones, I got the sense I was a bother to them.

We loved the rooftop pool, it was so fun to lay out in the outdoor beds that were provided and the pool food wasn’t bad! When booking we expected the property to be walking distance to nice restaurants and shops but the location seemed a bit unsafe off the property line of the hotel. We chose to drive everywhere we went off property. Overall, great hotel!

Not greeted at all by outside valet-he totally ignored us. Stayed on the 8th floor and music from the top floor was very loud. Area outside of the hotel felt dirty and unsafe. Restaurant on the second floor was good. Staff at that restaurant was friendly and the food was good.

The stay was great. Tim at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Pool area very beautiful and peaceful.My only negative was the restaurant and pool bar. Only once we ever found a bartender at the pool out of the 3 night stay. When we attempted to eat at the restaurant the waitress lack awareness. We stood there for 10-15 minutes at the register she was making some cocktails but never acknowledged us to at least to say I’ll be with you shortly; ended up back to the room and DoorDash.

We were greeted by a lady who was so kind and efficient. We were directed to our very comfortable room. Beds were clean, pillows fluffy and lighting in the room controlled all the different areas . The lobby was elegant but comfortable. The Hatch restaurant was right in front which served delicious meals at moderate prices for families.

Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was clean, noise from the road not bad but some would not like. The restaurant was separate from the hotel. They were nice but very limited selection. However; there were good restaurants nearby. I would consider staying there again.

Great property. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it was very confusing upon arrival. To get to the lobby you must go up to the 2nd floor. It would be very helpful if an employee was stationed there to help. The rooftop bar and pool was amazing and the food was pretty good in the onsite restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was very clean and modern. The staff was polite, friendly and informative. The rooftop pool and bar was very nice; DJ happened to be playing live during our stay… which was included at no extra cost (since we were guest of the hotel).
