Our stay was amazing not without a few hiccups along the way, (room wasn’t ready at check in time, door lock battery died) but the staff made up for it. I’ve worked in hotels for over 10 years in management positions. The staff are great, one day it rained and I walked back in soaking wet and without even asking a staff member gave me a towel. Anticipating the needs of guests is key to good service. The bars both downstairs and at the pool were closed when we visited but you’re so close to so many it was fine. The room was clean and wonderful. The staff were great, Expedia didn’t pass along our breakfast inclusion and the manager sorted this out immediately with no stress at all to us, (let me stress this was not a hotel issue). They helped us store our bags safely on check in and check out. They also let us sit on the rooftop after check out for a bit before we had to go get our bus. Breakfast was also good, with several options to choose from. Thanks guys, we would come back!

El hotel es muy bonito, y cuenta con una spa divino. El recepcionista Santiago me brindó un servicio excepcional y facilitó mucho las cosas en el check-in. Sin duda es un lugar que recomiendo

I enjoyed my stay. The rooftop pool was about 6 ft deep & warm. The room is really spacious & super clean. The facilities could make some minor changes like update the pool tile, replace outside chairs, and renovate the elevator. There’s also a spa downstairs which was absolutely a good time & reasonably priced for the services. All in all I would stay here again. This place is a few feet from 5th avenue & 20mins for Xplor park.

Mi estancia en el Hotel fue pésima, el hotel al momento de la reserva ofrecía Servicios como alberca y estacionamiento qué no me brindaron, al momento del check in como la elberca no estaba habilitada, me ofrecieron un club de playa sin costo adicional, pero al llegar a el lugar me dijeron que no tenían ningún convenio con el hotel, por lo que fue Mentira tampoco contaban con estacionamiento. En los cuartos de alado se escuchaba desde muy temprano trabajos de albañilería por lo que tampoco se podía descansar.. En general la experiencia no se la recomiendo a nadie.

4/10 We will NOT be staying here againThis was quite the catfish hotel we stayed 5 nights. The location was great close to everything and safe, pool was nice but small. The lack of cleanliness was absolutely horrible from pink stains allover the toilet that a simple fix that no one cared to clean. When we asked for towels we were brought new ones but told they're actually not switched out every day it was every 3 days ( GROSS) Bedding wasn't changed daily just made up. No coffee machine or cups in the room. The water pressure is no existent at all, There's no hair dryer, the AC is weak. We asked for hot water at the bar downstairs and they gave it to us we asked another night and someone else said they didn't have any, clearly they did we had it before. There's a big disconnect with the staff half were great and friendly half were not helpful at all. The rating here is way off, I don't recommend at all there's way better places to stay.

Staff is nice and tries their best but unfortunately this Property isn’t anywhere near a 4 star hotel. Inside there is no a/c in any area aside from your room, extremely hot all the time/ the room itself isn’t up to date and has stains all on the furniture and they didn’t have small face towels, barely any toilet paper. We had to switch rooms. Nobody really speaks English so be prepared to struggle A LOT! The language barrier can cause a lot of headaches when it comes to pricing and paying, they get you to spend more. Hotel is older and in underdeveloped area, it’s construction across the street so the walking can be a bit tough. Would not recommend this hotel.

Small hotel pool not worth it, cold water and a cockroach as asked to be removed but nobody did. Thought that’s was fair and stayed in room. No top sheet just thin blanket. Not a four star.

The front desk brown guy has terrible customer service skills, he is very rude, unrespectful and helpless, he yields and swears aloud in Spanish compleining about guests and how now he has to pay his “worker meal” and more, he is slow and miss details in check in. The security staff is amazing and the best! They helped me with internet matters that the receptionist didn’t care. It was my second stay there, I love the location and the rooms, however this time one bed missed clean sheets and had previous guest’s hair,if I were with another traveller I would ask the dirty bed to be changed and clean. I hope next time front desk and housekeeper staff do better their tasks. I love the location and that’s why o go there.

However, this hotel is rated as four stars, yet there are no cups in the room at all. When we wanted to rinse our mouths, we had to hold the water in our hands. I asked the staff at the front desk downstairs, and he told me that the room we were staying in did not provide any cups. I was quite surprised; what kind of hotel is like this? Furthermore, the hotel's advertisement on the website mentioned that there would be a safe in the room, but the safe in my room had been removed. I took a photo and showed it to the staff at the front desk, but he said there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. All the reception staff have provided me with a friendly welcoming service. I love the fact that they always reminded me late in the day that I can still get the room cleaned. The room cleaning was impeccable. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB :)

The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony looked into an atrium, although the music from the main floor would echo up in the morning, and it was quite loud. Beach/pool towels were already in the room, which was very convenient. On the downside, we were not able to get hot water in the shower.

Careful - building with construction right in front that woke us up every morning. The hotel is not well isolated so bring earplugs if you don’t want to be woken up at 6:30 am. This definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The look and feel was a little older than the pictures and missing a basic amenity such as a blow dryer. The toilet also has a clear glass divider between the sink which was unecessary and quite dangerous as when I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I walked right into the glass divider. The AC also broke down in the middle of one night which woke us up with a loud noise that sounded like gunshots. Someone came in and repaired it the next day. Otherwise the cleaning staff did an amazing job everyday, provided clean sheets and towels, cleaned the floors, and left the room smelling great. The location is also amazing. Not in the crazy nightlife area and right next to the beach access. Overall would recommend but don’t expect a 5 star hotel, feels more like a 3.5.

The second time I've come. Looked all over for an accessible hotel. The staff was very helpful and excellent. Rooms were accessible and entrance is also accessible.

The location of this hotel is excellent, very close to the city center. The rooms are spacious, and the cleanliness of the room appears to be good. However, this hotel is rated as four stars, yet there are no cups in the room at all. When we wanted to rinse our mouths, we had to hold the water in our hands. I asked the staff at the front desk downstairs, and he told me that the room we were staying in did not provide any cups. I was quite surprised; what kind of hotel is like this? Furthermore, the hotel's advertisement on the website mentioned that there would be a safe in the room, but the safe in my room had been removed. I took a photo and showed it to the staff at the front desk, but he said there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. Water pressure and amount of hot water is horrible for this property even after they came and "fixed" the issue it was only slightly better. I left desiring a hot shower. Noise can echo through the building sometimes but not an issue to sleep. The bed is comfortable and linens were very clean. Wifi never worked in my room.

Overall nice place was very upset when checking out as they charged 750 pesos for a small quarter size mark on the sheet that I could have removed myself and they will remove. There is no need to charge 60 US dollars for something like that. Due to that one incident I will not be returning there as you do not treat your guests like that.

This hotel is a ripoff. I asked the receptionist the next morning I arrived if they had any chairs available at the beach and she said yes so I paid for 10 days. When I went over to the beach my first day I went to go lay down on the chairs and not after a waitress came and told me I can only stay there if I pay $800 worth of drinks and food so I said no I am not interested so I walked out. Every day after that for the next 9 days I was trying to get my money back over 41 dollars US. I met with the manager twice he said he would get me my money back it didn’t happen. There is no coffee maker, no safe, i tried asking if I can get 5 more clothing hangers for 4 days and they finally came back to me with an answer no. I couldn’t watch tv cause the language is in Spanish I got the maintenance to come and try to change it to English and they couldn’t, not even Netflix so I had no tv for 10 days how boring is that. There too roof pool opens at 10am nothing earlier so you know for the early birds. There is nothing going on in that hotel they don’t serve drinks at the pool nothing. Poor service I wouldn’t come back here again

The front desk brown guy has terrible customer service skills, he is very rude, unrespectful and helpless, he yields and swears aloud in Spanish compleining about guests and how now he has to pay his “worker meal” and more, he is slow and miss details in check in. The security staff is amazing and the best! They helped me with internet matters that the receptionist didn’t care. It was my second stay there, I love the location and the rooms, however this time one bed missed clean sheets and had previous guest’s hair,if I were with another traveller I would ask the dirty bed to be changed and clean. I hope next time front desk and housekeeper staff do better their tasks. I love the location and that’s why o go there.

All the reception staff have provided me with a friendly welcoming service. I love the fact that they always reminded me late in the day that I can still get the room cleaned. The room cleaning was impeccable. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB :)

I enjoyed my stay. The rooftop pool was about 6 ft deep & warm. The room is really spacious & super clean. The facilities could make some minor changes like update the pool tile, replace outside chairs, and renovate the elevator. There’s also a spa downstairs which was absolutely a good time & reasonably priced for the services. All in all I would stay here again. This place is a few feet from 5th avenue & 20mins for Xplor park.

Der var larm til sent om natten fra 5th avenue, og sådan er det at bo tæt på desværre, om dagen var der bygge larm lige overfor mit vindue, som selvfølgelig er svært at gøre noget ved, men alt i alt for meget larm. Morgenmaden var ikke noget at råbe hurra for, ingen salt og peber og kaffen altid lunken!

Our stay was amazing not without a few hiccups along the way, (room wasn’t ready at check in time, door lock battery died) but the staff made up for it. I’ve worked in hotels for over 10 years in management positions. The staff are great, one day it rained and I walked back in soaking wet and without even asking a staff member gave me a towel. Anticipating the needs of guests is key to good service. The bars both downstairs and at the pool were closed when we visited but you’re so close to so many it was fine. The room was clean and wonderful. The staff were great, Expedia didn’t pass along our breakfast inclusion and the manager sorted this out immediately with no stress at all to us, (let me stress this was not a hotel issue). They helped us store our bags safely on check in and check out. They also let us sit on the rooftop after check out for a bit before we had to go get our bus. Breakfast was also good, with several options to choose from. Thanks guys, we would come back!

Mi estancia en el Hotel fue pésima, el hotel al momento de la reserva ofrecía Servicios como alberca y estacionamiento qué no me brindaron, al momento del check in como la elberca no estaba habilitada, me ofrecieron un club de playa sin costo adicional, pero al llegar a el lugar me dijeron que no tenían ningún convenio con el hotel, por lo que fue Mentira tampoco contaban con estacionamiento. En los cuartos de alado se escuchaba desde muy temprano trabajos de albañilería por lo que tampoco se podía descansar.. En general la experiencia no se la recomiendo a nadie.

First time in Playa del Carmen and this place was awesome! Close to the beach, and close to the shops. Excellent service from the staff. The hotel, itself, was very modern. Room was really nice, pool area, so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, would definitely stay here again!

This property is in a great location, however it is quite run down. Ad mentions restaurant and room service, this is false. Not even ice! The simple amenities that usual hotels provide, like towels, hair dryer are very limited. I will not be staying at this property ever again!

Hola The staff was very nice and the location perfect and good rate. My toilet was broken I had to get it fixed and the hot water was not working yesterday but worked today. This morning I went downstairs to get a water but I couldn’t - I had 500 pesos and a credit card but the person working wanted me to have smaller change. I had to leave the hotel to get a water.

I saw a lot of bad reviews and we thought to give it a try. We were ready for everything. It turned out it was a nice place. Was quiet too. I guess It depends what part of the hotel you are staying. Everyone was kind and nice to us. Only thing I would like to change are the towels. They were clean but very old. The hotel should change the towels. Other than that it’s a nice place. The pool on the top is quite amazing too.
