The hotel had “technical issues” and the restaurant/bar didn’t function for our 3 day trip. We couldn’t even get a coffee after breakfast even if the machines were available and we offered to pay for it. They should have been more flexible if there had issues with the restaurant. One of the receptionist , Lelle kept recommending the Strudel House restaurant to us and other customers but this restaurant was the worse of all the ones we ate in Budapest. The food was mediocre as well as the service. There are lots of other choices to choose and get a good meal. The other receptionist was very helpful and patient.

Its definitely the best hotel for Families and couples.Location its diamond.close to every where without car .I was surprised about parking too.During reservation was show Parking its on the street ! But was in save parking underground special spots for Hotel guests!! All activities is max 15 min by walking. On the End !! Breakfast was included and 5 stars quality Really recommend !

Third visit to this hotel in five years (I come to Budapest for business twice a year). Modern and functional hotel, but the rooms could be upgraded with few more amenities. A refrigerator is missing, a kettle is missing, and a comfortable seat is missing for the table where who's travelling for businness usually has to sit with a laptop. Excellent Wi-Fi signal. Cleaning was decent (but a piece of paper that had fallen under the bench remained there for the entire stay (three days). In terms of food, I found a significant decline compared to other visits. Breakfast was plentiful, but of only decent quality: using frozen fruit instead of fresh is already depressing...but at least defrost it properly!! (Unacceptable) Coffee with a nice quality (rarely for hotel breakfast..) Staff helpful and nice at the reception, less (far less..) at the restaurant..

Great location, friendly staff. Shower could be cleaner if they used a brush to get rid of the mold. Pillows are the worse I ever tried, please do something about them, offer firm/support options. Over all would recommend.

From arriving at the hotel I knew that I had chosen a great one! The location was great, within walking distances to most sites and close to metro or bus routes! The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the room was spotless. I was away for my birthday and the staff had noticed this and they had gone above and beyond by leaving me a card and a cake in my room for my arrival back to the hotel, this really made my stay.

El hotel está muy céntrico lo que permite ver casi todo el centro histórico a pie. Las habitaciones y el hotel son relativamente nuevos, y se nota en la calidad de los colchones y almohadas. La habitación no la limpiaban, solamente estiraban la cama y ponían toallas nuevas. Se nos rompió un vaso y no tenían servicio de limpieza y quien vino a limpiar, nos dejó cristalitos por la habitación (suerte que era la última noche). Por último esto es algo muy personal, pero creo que hacía excesivo calor en las habitaciones incluso con el aire apagado. Tuvimos que dormir con las ventanas abiertas porque era increíble el calor que hacía. Volvería al hotel por su comodidad y cercanía, pero no por su limpieza y temperatura.

The room was nice however the hotel only seems to run on 1 HVAC and the front desk told us the hotel can only be on heating or cooling not both. The room was so hot during our stay we had a hard time sleeping…the breakfast was okay however we wished they had more options available. The hotel also doesn’t offer any extra amenities like lotion, toothbrushes etc which was also a disappointment. The staff was nice, the hotel was clean and the area surrounding was great lots of restaurants nearby. During our last day though there was construction going on around the hotel that caused a power outage and we had to walk up 6 floors of stairs to get to our room and then 6 floors down with all our heavy luggage due to the elevators being out because of the power outage and the staff didn’t offer any type of help which was super disappointing. Not sure we would rebook this hotel next time we come.

H2 hotel is located in a really great location. 3 min to Metro, walkable to Basilica, Liberty Park and close to the Wheel...The room is comfortable but lack small fridge and not much place to hang cloth. if this is important think again. Breakfast is fabulous and overall, this is a very modern hotel, great location with many restaurants and coffee places. staff are very friendly, and I will stay there again.

Would’ve given it a higher rating but the two girls at the reception were so inconsiderate and mean. After traveling overnight and not having enough sleep, one should be able to check in an our or so earlier than their check-in hours. One girl told me that they have lots of room available but will need to charge me for checking in at 1:30 pm. Seriously!

This is my fourth visit to Budapest. The hotel is in a great location. The staff, namely Sophie and Gabor were professional, attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Reception arranged both our transfers. Even though we had an hours delay and then spent 75 mins queuing for passport control on a Saturday morning the taxi driver was still there waiting for us! Bathroom shower area could do with a bit more privacy but I would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in a really great location. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were really helpful. I asked for extra pillows and handwash and they were delivered to the room in less than 10 minutes. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was clean and looked quite new. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I love the location of the hotel. The only downside was I requested for an early check in , they want me to Pay same amount per day. Wth! We are from California, time difference , there should be an exemtion. If the room is ready then why not give it to your guest , they travelled for 15hrs…
