Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience.

Stayed 1 night

Stayed one night to go to F1 at Silverstone. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and let us book a taxi to/from Banbury Train Station (£6 there are back) so we could then take a bus to Silverstone. The hotel was nicely decorated and was very spacious. It is next to a country lane/A road so you can hear traffic, but it's not loud enough to be a nuisance. The room was a decent size, two twin beds, a small bathroom, a small table, chair and wardrobe. There was a bag of shower gel/shampoo on the beds which was a very nice touch and slippers were also provided. The bathroom was very small, we basically had to step over the toilet to get to the sink and the toilet was very close to the shower as well. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of food with fruits and yoghurt on the side if you wanted it. Overall I would recommend it for anyone going to the F1 or having a long weekend in Banbury.

Our stay was really nice,as our hosts were so so kind and attentive, nothind was too much trouble for them. We had a few drinks in the bar before enjoying a nice meal. Cannot praise our hosts enough for their help and kindness in making our brief 1 night stay enjoyable.
