Little Details: large boxes of Kleenex; scissors in office; fun and useful coasters for the wood tables; many artful pottery mugs; tea bag choices; high quality salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar; broiler pan; great plumbing (hot water delivered quickly, water pressure good); lovely back area with table and chairs and umbrella for outdoor visiting.

We stayed here for Christmas. The property had everything we could need or want. The kitchen had coffee, the bathroom had shampoo, the washer had detergent and there was even scotch tape for some Christmas wrapping. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a week at this property. Everything was as described. Good communication with the host. The kitchen had all of the cooking utensils, pots and pans that we needed. The neighbourhood was amazingly quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We were in the Portland area when there was a heatwave and the air conditioning units kept the house cool. My favourite part was the landscaping of the yard. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the back deck and doing some yoga out there. I would recommend this property and stay here again if we were in the area.

After arriving at the property, we didn't know what to expect. But we were really surprised. The house was very organzed and clean. It was not that difficult to locate. The kitchen was organized and we were able to find everything we needed to make ourselves a meal. Bathroom hat on the toilet train products that we needed. Really, we didn't have to bring anything with us. Just about everything was provided for us except our toothbrush and hair brush. How would consider returning to this house again if we're in the area. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

The house is super cute and was perfect for our stay! The second bedroom had enough room for our pack n play and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. I loved that they had all the streaming services so we could watch whatever without logging into our own. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and included coffee. It was only a short drive to museums and restaurants. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

I love art that makes you smile. In this case the whole house and everything in it is a work of art Plus a very well equipped functional vrbo. Thank you Chris. If you want granite countertops, a 50 inch tv, and covered parking may not work for you, but for us it was the best ever. Neighborhood is great for walks. Milwaukie rocks.

Our GPS seemed to be playing a practical joke, with all the convolutions it dictated to get us to the house. Set in a bit farther from the street than the ones on either side, we didn't recognize it until we were right in front. Once inside, we found that there was ample space, more than you might guess from the outside in front. The interior was immaculate and attractive, as well as subtly stylish. The two bedrooms were comfortable and far enough apart to make privacy possible. And the kitchen was attractive, large, and well-equipped -- including with high-quality coffee our host made available to us, and was great to wake up to. At the back of the house, beyond a utility room with washer and dryer, was the door to the back yard, which is complete with patio deck, table and chairs,and even a charcoal grill, which we put to use cooking salmon steaks and brats. Although its houses are fairly close together, the neighborhood was quiet during the two days we were there; and the back yard seemed somehow sequestered, giving us peace and also a feeling of assurance that we weren't bothering others. My wife walked into the room just now. When I told her I was writing this, she said of this property, "Yeah, it was wonderful. It had all the details." With that succinctly accurate observation of hers, I think I'll end my review.

We loved our stay at the Filbert house in Milwaukie, OR. The property has beautiful gardens, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with art. The owners anticipated all our needs and we especially like the popcorn maker and popcorn as well as tea and coffee. 100% recommend staying here if you are visiting the Portland area.

Chris and Cynthia's home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We walked in the door to a cool home on a 90 degree OR day. Which was very much appreciated by my pregnant friend whom came with us. The 3 of us had a hard time getting out of the bed's they were so comfy! We loved all the options for the TV. We also liked the cold filtered water from the fridge. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. It had what we needed, the beds were very comfortable, the host was very thoughtful and left the front porch light on as we arrived after dark. Would definitely stay here again! No complaints

Great communication with the host. If i were to move to Portland, this is exactly what i would want. Beautiful artwork, front and back yards full of plants and bushes and brids. (Saw 5 new birds!) More than enough room for the 3 of us. Super happy about how concious the host are about the environment and the comfort of the next guests. Close to town and the airport, but you would never know. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely property. Everything was convenient, attractive, comfortable and perfectly appointed. We enjoyed the collection of artwork displayed in each space. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet with a cafe a short walk around the corner.We would stay again if we are traveling in the area.

Great communication with the host. If i were to move to Portland, this is exactly what i would want. Beautiful artwork, front and back yards full of plants and bushes and brids. (Saw 5 new birds!) More than enough room for the 3 of us. Super happy about how concious the host are about the environment and the comfort of the next guests. Close to town and the airport, but you would never know. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Awesome place for our family of 4. The one story and fenced backyard were perfect for the kids. Convenient to everything but tucked away in a nice neighborhood. Super clean and comfortable!

This sweet little property is such an ideal place to get away from downtown but not drive too far to see things. The host has clearly put lots of thought into what guests might need during their stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the local breakfast place was a great little walk in the morning.
