Chosen for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and well laid out. The owners were lovely , unobtrusive but available if needed. The hot tub could do with lights along the path, the solar lights there weren’t working. The lid is also very heavy and I couldn’t manage it on my own.

Beautiful barn .. Delightful slipper bath .. Bed was so comfy .. Hot tub with views Fab! Area of outstanding beauty and so very Peaceful.. Hope to return ..

A beautiful spot in the countryside of Wales! The hot tub was privately located with a wonderful view of the rolling hills and nightly sunset!

The property is beautifully decorated and very cosy with the log burner on. It was a much larger space than we expected and the bathroom was fabulous.The views from the hot tub were amazing.We had a great stay and recommend this for anyone wanting a remote property

The Stables is such a lovely place to stay. It's got lovely views over the countryside and it's so peaceful. The hot tub was great, there's a log burner (which we didn't need), it's very clean and you can tell the Stables has been converted to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi was excellent and its location is ideal for exploring Monmouthshire or the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the Stables for any couple.
