Updated, clean and the room was more than what inexpected. Full size fridge and even a 2-burner stove. Comfy bed.

There were so many amenities beginning with the pool and the grills. The breakfast had so many options including make your own oatmeal.

The amenities were awesome, they had pretty much a full kitchen. The bathroom was fully stocked with hygiene products, very clean, and very modern.

In a great location close to Carowinds, we love this brand of hotels because you get a full kitchen. Very clean and staff were super kind. Breakfast is decent, can find enough to eat to fill you up. Beds were comfy but not the best. Bathroom clean and modern. Pools is small but perfect for a soak after a busy day

Very friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Great Amenities. The pool was closed one day because the morning was cloudy after a night of storms but it cleared up and the pool remained closed the whole day. Great stay. Will stay again.

Not quiet. Room needed a lot maintenance. Workout area had heat on so high I physically could not workout. Otherwise, the breakfast was decent and the room was modern.

Very close, 2 minute drive to Carowinds amusement park. Outdoor pool, full size refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove, dishes, dishwasher, toaster and coffee pot. They also serve breakfast Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 9:30am, and weekends 7am to 10am. Also free guest laundry and fitness room. They also sell snacks and other small things at the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel.

They should close for a complete cleaning of the rooms. Room 222, tub did not drain, toilet was plugged, moved the ottoman and it looked like it was never moved to vacuum under. Went to make coffee and found a moldy, green growing used filter in the pot. Outside of the property and common areas were very clean. Women doing breakfast was wonderful. Spoke to the office and she said she would notify cleaning staff and manager. She also said I would get points credited to my account and a phone call from the manager. Still waiting…..

Everything was pretty good except the cleanliness, the staff was great the breakfast was good but the room had a weird smell when the ac unit cut on anf the day we were chekcing oit we noticed blood on the sheets but thankfully the rooms come with extra sheets ans comforters so that was a plus.

Shower oddly built with no door nor curtains so was very tough to keep floor dry! The floor slant is placed on the complete opposite with the higher edge closer to drain and lower edge where there no barrier- GO FIGURE! So the water inevitably flows out to the floor. Tiny little wiggly brown bugs appeared out of corner edges between floor and shower once bath mat got drenched as I was ringing it out. Mind you, I was on the 2nd floor. Mildew around shower floors and at eye level crevices which should easily be removed with a Clorox bleach spray product and most times a brush isn’t even necessary. A not-so-clean shower surrounded by mildew and foul odor coming from drain made for unpleasant shower experiences. Tissue box on bathroom counter was damp and had a water stain ring around it. Who’s to say it wasn’t from it landing in the toilet at some point?! Why housekeeping wouldn’t switch it out was beyond me! Had to call front desk for a new box. A constant loud ticking sound kept coming from bathroom. Assumed it was from plumbing. Roselyn from front desk offered me to switch rooms. I told her that I figured out it came from vent and once I flipped switch to on position it stopped the loud ticking sound. Glad I figured it out the next morning of my stay since my check-in was so late the night before. Breakfast was left to be desired. The photo of spinach egg soufflé and bacon is very misleading. I stayed 5 days. I only went down twice on both mornings were dry breakfast

there was bed bugs

My room wasnt clean! I found bugs in my bathroom. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. The staff was nice enough and the breakfast was good.

Initially checking in to the hotel, we were greeted kindly, and the room seemed great. After we put our bags down, we quickly became frustrated with the lack of service and the air conditioning system. The front office reception was not helpful. It did seem as if they were short staffed. We needed 1 pillow and couldn’t get one the whole time we were there bc they were out of pillows. The hotel halls smelled awful. The rooms weren’t serviced even though we requested service. We had to go to reception to get clean towels bc the ones in our room were stained. Overall, I was disappointed in this property.

The positive The room is very nice with a usable kitchen. Large modern bathroom. Beds were clean and comfortable. The negative Unfortunately it took a lot of work to get into the WiFi...unsure how secure it was. No help from front desk. I specifically asked about the pool which was just in the back.... but once I went to pool area it was closed and the gate was zip tied. MOST Importantly families...you cannot SAFELY walk to Carowinds since you have to cross multiple lane of traffic!!! I ended up parking at Carowinds which is now $30 to park. Deceptive advertising! AND the rooms on my floor LOST POWER for a few hours. No one checked on us or mentioned anything about what was happening!!! The hallway was lit whereas other guests were trying to figure out what happened!!! The breakfast was ok at best and had to listen to the front desk loudly carrying on with a friend/coworker. Obviously the front desk position is for chatting and being in the phone... Nice hotel POORLY run

Our family - 2 adults, 2 kids - stayed 2 nights to enjoy a fun weekend at Carowinds. Pros: Our room was clean, the proximity to the park was perfect, and we loved the coffee. Cons: The breakfast food was not great, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and one bed completely lacked pillows. We asked for pillows more than 4 times and we never received them - at one point the concierge handed me a pillow case and a stack of sheets and told me to "get creative." Lol. What?! Thank goodness our kids brought their squishmellows. We will not be staying here again.

At check in she was really nice. The room was clean. We didn't eat breakfast so i can't speak for that. The tv wasn't working so we had to call the front desk, they sent someone up and fixed it for us. The only complaint i would have are the beds, they ARE NOT comfortable. Hard as a rock and i could feel the springs. We stayed 2 nights and i barely got any sleep and hurt the next morning. It was very quiet. All in all, i probably would'nt stay again because of the beds. But if you don't care about that then its a good place, and right across from carowinds. That's a plus!!

Nice newer properly but rooms are not sound proofed very well and are only cleaned every third day.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly, but as you can expect pillows were filled with air. We had such a great time stuffing the pillows with the extra towels we were able to get. Unfortunately there werent any extra pillows to go around. The best part was having to hear very loud music from a bar right next to the hotel until about 2am. We called the front desk they already knew what the problem was, and was familiar because it was an ongoing problem. They said they would call the sheriff but after 30 minutes we decided to call ourselves. Local law enforcement showed up and was able to get the bar to quiet down for 10 minutes before they went back to max sound. The walls are also very thin so if you have active neighbors then you will get an opportunity to enjoy the ound they make. If you have a long trip ahead of you the next day after a long day at Carowinds and want your much needed sleep interrupted or impossible to obtain due to terrible pillows and loud noises then this hotel is the best place you'll find!

Perfect location for visiting Carowinds! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was well maintained and clean. Definitely will stay here anytime we are visiting the area.

Charged me twice $110. Charged me 110 for incidentals. Child was working the desk while mother was on the phone giving her directions on how to fix it. Room in the basement. Light flickering. Bathroom cabinets pulling away from door. Plaster on floor.

Great hotel and location, especially if you going to be visiting Carowinds. Very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and will stay again.

Check in lady very unfriendly never greeted us, I told her why I was there, she is watching videos on her phone Check out ladies in the morning where very friendly wish I would have had them last night. I stayed her because I had stayed at a different Town Place before and the service was fantastic. Had I checked the reviews I would have never stayed there. So unless management steps in and changes it’s never gonna get good reviews

For those who like sleeping on a rock, great beds.... Me, not so much. Tried for all 4, days we were there to get the lamp and outlets repaired/replaced on one side of the bed, no luck. Upon checking in, front desk had no record of our prepaying for the room, so we were forced to pay again, then the agent messed up and charged me twice. It took 5 days to get that off my credit card... Sorry Marriot, won't be back to this one...

The facility is basically clean and the rate is reasonable for the area. However, there are a few things that need significant improvement. 1. When I arrived at the hotel around 11:50 pm on 2/18/2025, the night-shift staff was nowhere to be seen near the front desk and the front door was locked. I had to use the intercom to call. I hit the intercom twice. A few minutes later, the night shift staff showed behind the desk and opened the door for me. She greeted me with a scolding voice that I made the intercom to loud to hurt her ears. This really pissed me off. This is a huge disappointment. I told her she should have been behind the desk at that hour. That way, I did not need to use the intercom. 2. The next morning around 10:20am, we were trying to take a shower. The warmest water's temperature could not be up to a normal warm temperature even after waiting for about 10 minutes. BTW, our room was on the 3rd floor. Instead, I decided not taking the shower. 3. The breakfast choices are limited. However, the place to eat the breakfast was dingy and kept clean. 4. On my way out, the front desk staff left a note at the desk saying she was doing something else and therefore no one was there. Overall, the nightshift staff should not have been worked there and there is quite some space for improvement.

Very easy to get around.

This was a really fun stay. The room was clean and walking distance from Carowinds! They don’t have a shuttle but a Uber is only $6 if you don’t want to walk and save on parking. The only downside is that there was no tub, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with toddlers or younger. Mine treated it like a sprinkler so we were fine lol Otherwise everything was great, customer service was wonderful and it’s very clean.

It was close to the places that we wanted to see.

We stayed here for a two day trip to Carowinds. It was safe, quiet and very convenient. We had no issues!

Had a wonderful 5 day stay with family over Christmas. Had a kitchen that was nicely stocked with cookware and dishes. Has a large QT in walking distance to get items you might need. Had a moveable table in room that we could eat at or play games and a couch, hassock and desk chair to sit on. Best place I have ever stayed for extended stay. Great free breakfast too!

Very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Offerings for breakfast were plentiful - the coffee was quite good!

Great location, very friendly staff, excellent amenities, very clean,comfortable bedding. My only complaint is the incidental fee that wasnt displayed when booking & the complimentary breakfast was disgusting. But even with those issues id absolutely stay again

My wife and I enjoyed our stay although the room was getting close to needing a renovation. The whole place was clean and the gym was better than average. The breakfast was the low point of our stay. Don't waste your time.

Hotel stuff was very friendly, room was spacious and had a nice little kitchen. Location was great for Carowinds, but not walking distance. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Eggs were watery and sausage links were very hard.

The staff and very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here multiple times. Decent breakfast, comfortable rooms. Convenient location. The last time we stayed, the room was not completely cleaned, and we were given another, upgraded room with no issues. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was ok the hotel was really clean breakfast could be way better everyone doesn’t eat pork products that’s definitely a conversation needs to be held
