Stayed 4 nights

The bathtub/shower drain was so clogged that water remained in the tub all night. I requested help with the problem and I was told to “replace the hair catcher.” As I never took it out in the first place, I didn’t change anything. It wouldn’t have mattered because it is already clogged. I took a shower in standing dirty water every day. Also, the bathroom rugs were wet on arrival.

The unit was very clean and it served our purpose. It is a lot smaller than expected. The location was good. There could've been more washcloths as we were there for two days and it was two of us. The outside sitting area is not very inviting. The sitting table had a big pile of leaves under it, which was kind of gross. I have stayed in several Vrbo rentals and I have never had someone deny us an early check-in. We were there 55 minutes early and was denied early access or we had the option of paying an extra hundred dollars. About two hours prior to check-in communication with the host was OK. But the two days leading up to that were very stressful. The first time I tried to reach the host it took four hours and then I had to call Vrbo directly.

Place was freezing when we got there. Took 2 hours to get to 70 degrees. Very dark inside. Light in kitchen didn’t work. Bathtub/ shower drained so slow, 2nd bather had to wait 15 minutes for it to go down. People upstairs were very loud. Made relaxing/sleep difficult. I would not recommend.

Cozy little spot in an awesome neighborhood. Would recommend for a solo or couple who needs to get away.

Frequent visitor to Bay View. Stay was more expensive than what I am accustomed to cannot say it was worth the upgrade.
