The whole place was very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Beautiful Dunster was right on the doorstep and Minehead just a few minutes drive away. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking space.

A great cottage very conveniently located in the beautiful village of Dunster. Well equipped, clean, attractively furnished and decorated with comfortable beds. We are already booked for another stay.

Fantastic location with its own parking spaces (a rarity in Dunster). The property is clean, has plenty of space to spread out and relax and is equipped to a high standard. We had a wonderful time here and will be back but for longer next time!

We love Dunster so the location of the cottage is perfect as is the off road parking, which is rare for a small cottage in the village. The kitchen is well equipped with ample room to cook a variety of meals. The master en suite (which is huge!) is an added bonus. There is basic TV which is great when you want to switch off and enjoy some reading instead, but if bringing teenagers make sure you bring iPads/books to entertain!

The beds were very comfortable with good standard of bedding.On arrival a tea tray laid out with tea coffee and a cake and milk in the fridge .A great location with lovely walks close by and beautiful Dunster Castle and gardens just a short walk away from the cottage. What a fabulous cottage. We arrived to a welcoming tea tray with biscuits, classical music playing on the radio and the heating on. The upside down nature of the layout was charming and fun for our little one to figure out. It was perfectly located in the village so we could enjoy walks from the door all around Dunster. We were lucky to enjoy the local pubs and shops ahead of the unexpected lockdown which interrupted our stay. Thankfully we could and chose to stay until the end of our holiday, enjoying quality family time in this immaculate and surprisingly modern place in the heart of a beautiful historical setting.

The initial kerb appeal was not great with cobwebs on metal railings and around front door. A good sweep was also needed. However, once in the property is was much better. The owner has provided most items to ensure a comfortable stay although the bedding, once good quality, was rather thin and well worn. The on-suite still has loose items but is perfectly usable. The property is situated in a great location to visit the area and is lovely and spacious.

The house was spotless, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of space to relax, good bathrooms and very comfy beds. Dunster is a gorgeous village with pubs and cafes on the doorstep and surrounded by amazing scenery.

This house was an awesome stay. The layout is spacious for up to 3 couples (we had 2) and room to sit and visit. The town of Dunster is fun with shops and good food choices. The home is well taken care of and even though it is on the street, the car noise was not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is a lovely cottage which has the most wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Spacious kitchen and sitting room with a mixture of modern and antique furniture and very comfortable bedrooms. Bathrooms are very modern and there was plenty of hot water. If you are a cook you will love the high tech and very efficient oven! The cottage is in the heart of Dunster village - a minutes walk from the old yarn market and you can do wonderful walks from your front door either down to the sea, up and around the village or onto Exmoor. Can recommend Dunster castle and Gardens and walking into Blue Anchor or Minehead along the beach.

Such a beautiful stretch of coastline; we visited Lynmouth, Porlock, Minehead and Watchet (good fossil hunting at nearby Hellwell Bay). Glad we found "Best of Exmoor" - good choice of properties at good prices, efficient booking and good communication.

Gorgeous house, perfect for our group as we were visiting for a wedding in the local church and reception in the castle, both only 5 minute walk from the house. House is finished and furnished to a very high standed, would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay in lovely Dunster. We ate in the Stags Head which was fab. Also the Luxrall Arms had a great garden. Grooms cottage was comfortable, clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book again.

The house was spotless, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of space to relax, good bathrooms and very comfy beds. Dunster is a gorgeous village with pubs and cafes on the doorstep and surrounded by amazing scenery.

The initial kerb appeal was not great with cobwebs on metal railings and around front door. A good sweep was also needed. However, once in the property is was much better. The owner has provided most items to ensure a comfortable stay although the bedding, once good quality, was rather thin and well worn. The on-suite still has loose items but is perfectly usable. The property is situated in a great location to visit the area and is lovely and spacious.

Lovely clean, spacious cottage, everything we needed. Short drive to other local towns & villages. Thank you ! ps. Could do with a bit of d i y in ensuite, minor issues with few items coming loose
