Fine hotel. Decent room size, comfortable beds, clean facilities. Was disappointed pool was closed during our stay due to “health and safety” reasons??? Would’ve liked to have been made aware of this prior to booking! Or been compensated slightly. Great Breakfast options - only complaint was the coffee! Unfortunately machine wasn’t working and resulted in watered down coffee (blech!)

Very clean, did charge extra $50 fee after paying online for room, that I am supposed to get back in about week. TV was hard to work. Breakfast was several things to choose from, but not impressive. Coffee was good. Indoor pool was not very big.

The room was very spacious. The breakfast was great! Love that they are pet friendly! Would like to have regular room service to have fresh towels. Had to ask in morning if you wanted anything. The pool was closed most of our stay which was sad. This hotel is nice though and in a great quiet area of Louisville!

Both nights we was there we asked staff about bar which was not open and was told the employees just didn’t show up for work. Would have been nice being a weekend to sit and enjoy a night cap.

Had a great stay. Super clean, comfy beds, nice free hot breakfast, has coffee available after breakfast, fitness center has a variety of weights to use, very spacious room, nice staff, and love the mini kitchen in the room(mini fridge, microwave, sink and counter). 20 minute drive from downtown. Would stay here again!

The whole floor, including my room, smelled really strongly of marijuana. To the point my clothes smelled like it the next day when I left. It was difficult to sleep due to the smell. There was also no soap at all in the bathroom.

We arrived to a dirty room with toenail clippings all over, sticky floors, molded bathroom shower. Ask for room to be cleaned daily with towels, did not happen. Stopped by front desk and was given pool towels. Staff did not care!! We stay at La Quinta often and this location was by far worst we have ever experienced!! Never again!!!

The hotel is in a good location, but that is the only positive I have to say. The service when I checked in was subpar and no information was given to me about check out or wifi. The room had very little lighting and was pretty dark overall. The condition of the room was surprising since the hotel didn’t appear that old but there were stains and dents and huge marks on the walls. The tv was hard to figure out and the fridge made an awful noise. Overall not a comfortable evening spent.

Super spacious room with comfortable bed, sitting area with couch, two televisions, and very clean. The bar was nice and bartender very friendly and gave a great suggestion for dinner. The hotel is convenient with easy access to major highways that can take you anywhere in Louisville you'd like to go. Hot breakfast which was okay - standard hotel fare. The scrambled eggs were definitely made from powdered, but tasted fine. There were more options on Sat am than Sunday.

Staff were friendly and cared about our comfort. Room we stayed in was dark. It didn’t help a bulb in bed side lamp was burned out. It still would have been dark with that bulb working. Reported I as soon as we arrived and they said it would be fixed by next day. When we left on Sunday it still hadn’t been fixed

This location clearly focuses on being too efficient, some of the lighting doesn't work, and the rest is uselessly dim. Walls are very thin you will hear everything. The mattress felt as though I was camping on ready mix concrete bags. Everything else was just fine.

This hotel is absolutely 5tars all around. Jermaine the GM is simply amazing and will go up and beyond his his job description. The front desk staff is very customer service oriented and they are extremely knowledgeable about the area and they give great restaurant referrals!! To April and Kristin you both are amazing people never stop being that wonderful side of you!! You both do an amazing job and you make guests feel so comfortable being there for their stay

I stayed there for a total of 4 days. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good. Nice variety. Staff was super nice. The rooms were clean. Only issue, I would either clean the carpets or replace them. However, since it is a pet friendly hotel I didn't smell pets. This hotel is at a great location not too far from the outlet mall, Publix, downtown Waterfront and around great restaurants. Very peaceful as well. Definitely will return to this hotel when back in Louisville.

I waited at the front desk yelling for anyone to come. A large man with glassy eyes did not say hello and just traced his had out for my license and chart card. He did not say a word. I think the front desk person was under the influence of something. I requested a lower floor. He response was you are on the tops floor and nothing else. He was rude.

We had a very short stay- but after being on the road for 11 hours, we just wanted a place that was clean, safe, and that would have our dog. This fit the bill nicely. The staff was very friendly, check in was a breeze, the price was very affordable, the room and facility was immaculate the bed was SO comfortable. Check out was super easy- and the breakfast was good, too!

Stayed at this location while awaiting closing on our house. This is a newer property compared to the others, in a quiet location. Our stay was what you would expect at a La Quinta. Clean property, clean linen. Standard hot breakfast. However, the real purpose of this review is credited to the manager. April is top notch! She was very professional, accommodating and caring. Because of her, we will definitely consider coming back. Customer service is a lost art nowadays. If La Quinta upper management reads these reviews: April is an asset to your company. She stands out and turns a mediocre stay into a five star experience. She went out of her way to make this stressful transition easier. And genuinely interacts with each guest. Thank you April for all you have done for my family and I!

The staff could not have cared weather I lived or died... acted like me asking questions was not part of there job, the front desk clerk couldn't even tell me if the pool was open... told me if there wasn't a note on the door then it was open. Just really disapointed in the customer service.

The breakfast was great. I cannot say much for the lady that checked us into the hotel. Before I even arrived to the hotel there was a $65.73 charge in my card. When I arrived to the hotel to check in, I asked the lady at the front desk why there was a charge. She said that it was to pay for the hotel. I explained that the hotel was paid for in early June. She said that I still had to pay for the hotel. I told her that I didn’t understand. Then she deflected and began to explain the $50 hold for incidentals. I asked her again why I was being charged the $65.73 and she stated it was because I booked through a third party and they weren’t going to get their money because I booked that way. I told her I still didn’t understand. And she began talking about the $50 hold on the card. So I told her that I understood the $50 hold but still didn’t understand the other charge. By this point I was aggravated because she was also getting louder during the conversation to speak over me. My boyfriend intervened and I was done talking to the lady. The next morning I went to checkout of the hotel and asked for a receipt. The guy behind the desk told me that because I booked through a third party that he could not give me one. I asked if I could get the receipt for what they charged me yesterday at the hotel when I checked in and he told me no. Needless to say, this is the first and only time I will ever stay at a LaQuinta Inn.

Great stay, would definitely recommend this motel. Clean, quiet, and great pricing. Close enough for my business trip to Louisville, but far enough away to not get robbed in Louisville. Highly recommend.

Very nice, new hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed for business but will be back the next time I am in town to see family. There are a few restaurants in the area and grocery stores for convenience. This is close to Ford-Kentucky Truck, so if you are there for work, this would be a solid option for your stay.

The positive about this hotel was the price, the location for our need to stay there and the reasonably clean room. The check in was rude and unwelcoming, the place smells so weird it actually made me nauseous, the rooms are dark, dingy and worn, the luggage trolley had dog hair all over it. The breakfast was terrible with burned eggs, ice cold gravy and they don't even have decaf coffee. The staff seems short handed and all seem weary. The complaint about lighting is real, its such a dreary room, furniture is beat up, walls are beat up, At check in i would have immediately checked out but was there with an event in the area. . It could use better attention to the operation, would easily be a decent place with better management and better care.

While the hotel was clean and in a good location, there was one issue which was a problem. We checked in for two nights. The next evening we had recieved no new towels, toilet paper or general cleaning. I understand everyone is trying to conserve and make more money, but I paid for the service. I was told by the front desk that it was apolicy of the hotel for guests to let the front desk know the night before ,if you wanted service. Apparently this applied no matter how many days you stayed, you have to let them know you want service the following day according to the front desk. I went down and got the towels and we ran out of toilet paper that night. also bring your own soap, they give you one bar the size of your little finger. Also the breakfast was cold and not very good.
