Modern hotel, clean, quiet & efficient. Room size fine with good amenities (coffee machine, large TV w/ satellite feed inc sports), excellent bed. Glass divide between room & bathroom odd - this is becoming an unwelcome modern hotel "norm" - W/C, at the least ought be separate/not visible. Only window in the room was in the bathroom. Bathroom also needed more hooks for towels etc. Hotel facilities good. Bar with sports TV, food was fine but expensive. Drinks regular SE priced. Onsite Starbucks open during the day. Pool facility good, although access via stairs a bit odd. Didn't use the gym, but appeared to be a good size & well equiped. Onsite car park fine & easy to find a space.

Hotel has really good facilities. They gym and pool cw steam room / sauna are really excellent and of a very high standard. Cheap to add to your staty too. The pub/grill is also well appointed with decent quality food albeit at high prices for what you get. They did run out of 3 beer options during Saturday night though and it wasn't busy. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly although breakfast staff all about 16 so a bit untrained / inexperienced. Ran out of milk and beans! Helpful on the front desk and gym though. Rooms o.k. but with few options unless you are a couple. All king size beds but comfy. Could do with a spruce up, especially the bathrooms, but nothing to complain about really. Overall I'd definitely recommend this for a family stay in Eastleigh.

Good value for money, excellent facilities for the price, a little expensive for drinks so better to pop to the supermarket next door. Room layout was a little unusual as the glass door to the bathroom while essential as the only window is in the bathroom could be a little off-putting for some.. Had to pay to park for one of our two nights. Always annoyed by the modern trend of hotels charging for parking.

Stayed here for one night pre-cruise. The hotel was great. The room was clean and had everything we could need. There was breakfast on offer but we did not try this. There is also a Starbucks in reception which was very useful. Loads of parking and some EV chargers. We would stay here again.

Really nice stay. Disappointed with pre stay service as was told couldn’t leave car long stay - turns out you can £5 a day. About £25 to cruise terminal in cab. Food in bar really tasty. Shower fantastic. Glass door to bathroom disconcerting but got over it. All in all a good pre cruise stay make ASDA next door for more cruise essentials. Didn’t use gym but looked very impressive - Starbucks on site

Simply dirty. There are no other words. It takes more than one missed cleaning routine for mould to growth on bathroom appliances. Not to mention the filth on the floor as if it was hoovered last time in 2023. Really didaapointing for a fairly new "4 star" hotel.

Not good, half finished hotel,still doing finishing touches. Got our room, to find when we got into bed sock stains all doen the matress not happy....we got moved at 11pm....then found chewing gum stuck to the bedside table and the air con did not work and the blind, i had,had enough and just wanted my bed. The staff that night he was so helpfull we got a 50%discount, but sadly was messed about. The food though stuning altho very very expensive.

Noisy reception as adjacent to main bar - difficult to check in over such noise Room ok but bathroom was filthy - obviously hadn’t seen anything like bleach in awhile. Poor design of shower enclosure - it let water all over the floor - it was not of an adequate size or position to prevent this Friday night and the vicinity turned into some illegal race park with motorbikes and cars revving and zooming about - I appreciate the hotel can’t stop this but this adds to a pretty unappealing experience

Stayed in a very dusty room (literal visable layers of it) and it was quite small. Additionally one of the spoons in the coffee mugs was used before I'd entered the room and wasnt changed once out of the 4 days I stayed there. I could also hear the music from the gym playing loudly from my room on the third floor.

I will keep coming back to Village Hotels because they are consistently good! I’ve stayed at three different locations now, and the best bits are: amazing waterfall shower, spacious and very clean, as well as a very comfortable bed, not worn and lots of pillows. Staff are great, and breakfast was great!

I was in the area in business, which i am quite often. This is the first hotel that i have stayed at where I feel i could use as a base when im in the area. Rooms were smaller than most, but the bed was super comfy, a great desk with working area, very good shower etc. Plus the TV had very good channels unlike most. The bar/restaurant was very lively, great choice of drinks and food.

Small room (standard double) but with everything you need. For reasons only the architect will understand the bathroom door is clear glass and doesn’t close properly by design. Otherwise, great. Food from a sports bar style grill, breakfast simple but ok.

Self check in, wasn’t expecting to pay for parking, room is noisy due to being near to gym. You can hear weights being dropped throughout my stay. Also music noise from next room. The outside window is in the shower room, the window does not have blinds, and the door into the shower room is glass, therefore when the sun rises, lights floods into the room.

Rooms were ridiculously small…just enough room for a bed and bathroom. The bathroom had a clear glass door…(absolutely no privacy). The toilet was in clear view. The shower had no real door and water sprayed everywhere as witnessed by the mold on the floors and water stains on the wall. Everything is done thru QR codes including room service, very confusing. Not sure who is leaving all the good reviews, but do yourselves a favor and book elsewhere.

The staff were fantastic and were great at providing a great stay ... many thanks especially to the housekeeping -check in/out ... good food and beverages in the attached grill restaurant/bar.... leisure facility lovely although very low lighting in pool area

I had stayed in the hotel previously and had a pleasant experience however, this time the hotel has changed significantly. The staff were unfriendly defensive and unhelpful. This was a shame as staff were unwilling to fix major issues with the room. My room was ok on appearance however, the shower was broken and the wash basin was blocked. When I reported this online there was no action. when I reported to the duty staff they said it would be actioned immediately. That never occurred. When I asked the following day about the issue an aggressive staff member claimed they had fixed the issue when I invited them to show me they then claimed They had tried to fix it but I was in the room. However to my knowledge I did receive a single knock on the door. Instead of solving the issue the staff member decided to become challenging to my partner over weather or not the basin was blocked. Seeing there was no point in escalating the issue on site as the staff member was clearly looking for trouble I figured an honest experience review was better as a warning to future guests.

Service in restaurant was absolutely dreadful, so slow, including collecting our own drinks from the bar when nobody was bringing them to our table after 20 minute wait from ordering. Seemed like staff were all under 25 and had no senior staff member to lead them, in their defence they appeared to be considerably under staffed.

I have corporate membership here now. A big fan. Rooms always clean. Always receive a warm welcome. Food always good. Really good value and importantly for the business traveller, confidence that you know what you're getting.

Wonderful staff, all very very friendly and keen to help. The room was on the small side however it was spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the shower was great. There is a clear door on to the bathroom though this did not bother us. We had food and drinks in the bar/restaurant which was good quality at hotel prices.. Really enjoyed it here, and we've already booked to return!

Hotel itself is excellent, well serviced, although a distance out of Eastleigh centre. Clean and tidy hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. The only criticism I would have is the food quality in the restaurant. An almost inedible burger and chips on the Friday night, and breakfast left a lot to be desired! Bacon and sausages that barely seen a heat source, potato slices that were drier than cardboard and I daren't try and describe the scrambled eggs! Wouldn't stop me staying here again, but I would ensure I had other options for dining.

My husband and I stayed here the night before our cruise and again the night after, our room on both nights were quiet as they were on the 3rd and 4th floor. the bed was a king bed and very comfortable and even though there was a glass door to the bathroom it was still private. The check in staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is a starbucks in the hotel which is perfect for a nice tea or coffee and a snack. My husband and I went for a meal in there bar and grill which was lovely. There was no wardrobe in either the rooms but there were hangers on a rail to put your clothes on. There is a bus stop down the road if your not driving, where you can go into Southampton or Winchester.We really liked this hotel even though it away from the port

Loved the rooms, though the shower fitting was a bit loose and the rainfall shower went over the top of the shower cubicle making the floor wet. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but that's my preference for a soft mattress. But it was very clean and a sociable hub of activities - just a shame it's in the middle of nowhere we had to get cabs everywhere

I had to have an overnight stay due to missed flight & this hotel was not far from the airport. It is extremely clean & the room was large & spotless. Unfortunately I arrived after 23:00 & the restaraunt was closed & no other places nearby to get food. Also it seems that my room was above the gym as the sounds of heavy weights being dropped could be heard until midnight.

Perfect location for a one night stay prior to our cruise. Good sized room with a comfortable bed, refreshing shower, tea/coffee and ironing facilities. Nice restaurant where we had an enjoyable evening meal and wine, discounted by £5 per person by downloading the App. Free weekend parking. Taxi for 4 with all luggage to Southampton Terminal £25. Highly recommend.

I was in the area in business, which i am quite often. This is the first hotel that i have stayed at where I feel i could use as a base when im in the area. Rooms were smaller than most, but the bed was super comfy, a great desk with working area, very good shower etc. Plus the TV had very good channels unlike most. The bar/restaurant was very lively, great choice of drinks and food.

Hotel itself is excellent, well serviced, although a distance out of Eastleigh centre. Clean and tidy hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff. The only criticism I would have is the food quality in the restaurant. An almost inedible burger and chips on the Friday night, and breakfast left a lot to be desired! Bacon and sausages that barely seen a heat source, potato slices that were drier than cardboard and I daren't try and describe the scrambled eggs! Wouldn't stop me staying here again, but I would ensure I had other options for dining.

I am a regular here and the staff are always lovely and willing to help. Only thing that lets it down it the lack of healthy options in the restaurant. Great if you want burgers and fried foods but would be nice to see some basic options or healthy switch-outs, like jacket or boiled potatoes instead of chips with everything. Even the protien bowls are boring and packed full of calories. Same goes for breakfast, fatty bacon dripping in grease and soggy scrambled eggs.

Room as good, bathroom needed a good clean, but overall the room as ok. Bar area is nice and food was good. Service a little slow but friendly. Parking was nice and easy, and I would stay again.

It was ok, not as good as other Village hotels I’ve stayed in. Food in bar was below average 3 out of 4 nights and alcohol prices are increasing. Bar manager on shift Thursday evening, needs some people skills training, obviously promotion has gotten to her head.

Hotel has really good facilities. They gym and pool cw steam room / sauna are really excellent and of a very high standard. Cheap to add to your staty too. The pub/grill is also well appointed with decent quality food albeit at high prices for what you get. They did run out of 3 beer options during Saturday night though and it wasn't busy. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly although breakfast staff all about 16 so a bit untrained / inexperienced. Ran out of milk and beans! Helpful on the front desk and gym though. Rooms o.k. but with few options unless you are a couple. All king size beds but comfy. Could do with a spruce up, especially the bathrooms, but nothing to complain about really. Overall I'd definitely recommend this for a family stay in Eastleigh.

Very last minute booking, as had to get a flight from Southampton after our Heathrow one was cancelled. Rooms ok, fairly basic with very strange brightly coloured walls and minimal furniture - but comfy bed. Nice shower, and towels but all felt a bit utilitarian for £125 a night. Very noisy, kids running around. Bar/restaurant is like a sports pub, 6 TV’s v loud playing Olympics. Food was good, although expensive - fries were £7! Fine for an overnight stay to get to the airport, which is close, but won’t rush back.

The only problem we had was the plain glass bathroom door..... I didn't particularly want people see me sat on the toilet, I'd love to know who had that bright idea, wasn't at all happy with it so just as well we were only there 1 night, it definitely needs changing
