Ice machine was broken and no phone inside room

Pool was superb. Everything was clean and neat. A check in the lady would not allow me to use my best Western rewards number because she said I booked it on hotels.com and they don’t accept that. I’ve never heard of that before and I’m going to pursue that further. The lady at the desk was obliging, but not overly friendly and very slow.

Terrible coffee machine. Only makes 1/3 cup at a time. 1 table by pool that was monopolized by same family for over 4 hours. Pool not big enough .

Stayed 4 nights! Room was clean. It was quiet during quiet hours! First day there we went down to pool, it was greenish & dirty. Never went back so not for sure if stayed but I did see folks swimming. Overall not bad! Worth the money.

The only drink machine was broken. I had a room next to the laundry room and someone decided around 3:30am they needed to dry what sounded like a couple pairs of jeans, $9.75 worth of loose change and perhaps a handful of rocks, it was EXTREMELY loud in the room and I didn’t sleep.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The outside of the property needed attention as ash tray was overflowing and there was a wicker bench but it was warped.

The room appeared to be clean. There was a big roach in our room that we could not kill so that was aggravating Having to make sure everything was up off the floor. Everything else was just ok at the hotel. The breakfast was good. There was one elevator so that could take some time. It served its purpose for one night but it was kind of expensive. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Our room key deactivated the morning we checked out and I had to go get another key. That was invonvienant. Overall the stay was ok.

Jessica was great; she checked us in and the room we had booked was overbooked. She was able to get us changed to that type of room within 7 hours. Kevin the GM is friendly and makes sure you’re comfortable and having a nice stay. Meghan works incredibly hard to keep the breakfast stocked. The hotel was at full capacity from Hurricane Milton evacuees and she was very quick to refill anything in the kitchen that needed it. Housekeeping was very nice when we needed to exchange towels or more TP. The gym and pool were clean and accessible. Overall a great experience and nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great! We were disappointed to find that there was no hot tub as advertised.

The hallway was hot and musty smelling and carpet was worn and dirty. Elevator floor had cracked floor planks. Fitness equipment was dirty and had stains on them. Hand sanitizer at front desk and food area was empty.

Mold and roaches in room. Property did zero to help the situation. Very disappointed with situation.

I didn't like the musty smell in the hallway the room smell mildewy it was only good for a one-night stay

A very dirty hotel...dead cockroaches in the hallway. Dirty carpets. The staff does not greet you. It is not friendly. The worst was the cleanliness… If you are picky with cleanliness, don't stay here. For the cost per night I expected a clean hotel.

Property is not very clean. Bed sheets were stained and seen several bugs in the room.

There were dead roaches in the bathroom as well as mold and hair in the bathtub. The front desk woman had a male park in front of hotel and blare his music and go in and out in the evening. There was a homeless man sleeping by the front doors. Numerous people walked around the property smoking dope continually. It all seemed sketchy.

Front desk was so nice. The room was also clean.

Our room was so dirty. There was jelly on the chair and floor and I don’t think the room was vacuumed. The duvet had stains, looked unwashed and there were coffee splatters in the sink. The water pressure was also very weak.

I was placed in room 136 and the exit door was constantly slamming, waking me up.

I had to tell Adults to be quiet during quiet hours. They woke me up unapologetically. The room right across from th elevator and SOLOUD!!! I hatwd that part

I will never stay here again. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The air didn’t work that great. Everything always seemed damp-carpet, bedding, towels, etc. the shower was one that you just walked into with no door or anything. So the water from the shower went everywhere. It was so bad that water was running under the door to the hallway. It was like a lake in the bathroom every time you showered. And the room always had a mildew smell.

I like this hotel. The complimentary breakfast is great. The rooms are nice and spacious.

Great room for passing through. Good breakfast, and friendly staff, but only had local channels with very bad reception 😕

Thin walls

Room was clean, bed comfortable, just missing a telephone.

Close to main shopping and dining areas. The heaters and air-conditioning was broke but they had a portable unit that worked. Took a few minutes to figure it out though.

Sucks. The blonds don’t cover the windows and the put us on the east side so the sun comes right in the room at 6:30 am. This was terrible and would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Great stay. The ac in the room didn’t work properly but otherwise it was great.

Took 3 hours to check in then wrong credit cards charged.

When I tried to check in at 3:00 the front desk clerk said she was unable to check me in right now. She said two ladies had just checked in, we don’t have any rooms at this time but the other rooms were being inspected. I told her I had a reservation and they shouldn’t have given away my room. So I finally got the key to my room which was a little after 3:30. I went to my room and it was a mess. Beds weren’t made, pillows on the floor and I was in a state of shock. The house Keeping lady apologized to me and said they could switch me into another room and they did. Well, when I got to the second room, the sink was clogged. At that point I am seriously irritated. I told her I needed to leave but she assured me it would be fixed when I returned. When I did return later that evening it was fixed. I took a shower and when I got out of the shower and I was getting dressed this man came into my room asking me why was I in this room? So I asked him who he was and he said he was the manager. I proceeded to tell him everything that happened yesterday. He said he was not aware that they put me in the room that I was in. This was a terrible experience! I will never stay here again. The beds were uncomfortable too. No one ever seems to be at the front desk and you’re always waiting for someone to come. Dear Best Western Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a disturbing and disappointing experience my family and I had during our recent stay at the Best Western Plus in Panama City, Florida. While I’d like to first commend Ms. Kelly from the breakfast area—who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional—this was the only highlight of our stay. She greeted us warmly as we stepped off the elevator, and breakfast was excellent. My entire family enjoyed it, and her attitude was a much-needed contrast to what we experienced elsewhere. Unfortunately, nearly every other part of our visit was unacceptable. The front desk associate, Haley, was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She never asked for ID or payment, and when a glitch on Expedia caused two reservations to appear, she canceled one without my permission—even after I told her not to, knowing it was non-refundable. When I questioned her actions, she gave me the silent treatment, rolled her eyes, and told me to “just call Expedia” with no regard for the inconvenience she caused. When I asked what I was signing, she slaps a paper and room key on the counter and walked away without explanation. My children watched this unfold in disbelief. Later, my daughter said, “Mommy, we saw her roll her eyes at you. She’s lucky you didn’t go off.” The room conditions were even worse: • Stains on the duvet and sheets. • mildew and hair in shower • Dirty towels • One room had a non-working TV

Arrived and waited in the lobby a few minutes before I was greeted only after saying “hello anyone here?”. The person on duty was cordial but nonchalant. We stayed 2 nights but non one cleaned the room after the first night and we didn’t get clean towels or linens. It wasn’t the best experience.

Another great stay at BWP Panama City. It’s become a home away from home. I love the flexibility of manager, Kevin, and he was kind to me when I was going thru a family member becoming emergently ill. The customer service is always spot on including from the housekeeping staff! Noelle at the front desk was super helpful when I locked myself out. She’s always kind and helpful. Keep it up BWP Panama City!

Well, my time in Panama City is finally coming to an end after a few false starts. I can honestly say that this hotel is a very positive memory of a time spent, ill, away from home. The staff has always been top notch and the property is always pristine. But what sticks with me is how staff remembered me when I’d stop back in for a few nights sojourn, the generous late checkout on days when I had bad medical news and the overall compassion of the staff. Thanks to everyone who gave me a home away from home.

Amazing staff. Breakfast is straight up delicious country breakfast! Ariel at the front desk really went above and beyond for us. Excellent customer service! Housekeeping staff is friendly and efficient!

Room was not ready at check in, front desk was very unprofessional about it but I did receive a discount finally. Breakfast was great and pool area was nice.

Extremely comfortable, updated, clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would most certainly recommend.

Very Conveniently located. If you are skeptical, about Best Western like I was it wasn’t bad at all. Rooms were clean, didn’t hear any noise or have and broken amenities. It is quite a drive to the beach (25 minutes) but if you’re trying to save money and don’t mind that commute this place will definitely do.

Hard to locate due to confluence of streets

I just there for a quick trip. Check in was fast and simple. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was in a quiet area yet close to lots of restaurants and places to shop. I will definitely be back when I return to PC next.

Terrible. It’s in a crappy part of town. Halls smelled horrible, elevator takes minutes to open and close (even when pressing the open and close buttons). The room wasn’t the best! Staffing was very nice though.

This was not a good experience. Not safe and the surrounding area was frightening.as I pulled into the parking lot I felt that I should keep driving to find another hotel. Drug use in the parking lot was not a pleasant first impression. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it.

Homeless tents were right outside our hotel window. We walked outside and was met with a homeless lady immediately. The place also have insects

Best Western is a small hotel in Panama City Beach. It is located 25-30 minutes from the city's beaches, and there are many restaurants nearby to eat. The hotel's cleanliness is a bit neglected. They need clean more The breakfast is not varied (potatoes, scrambled eggs, and waffles), however, it is good for just one day. For the prive, It is a good option for a 2-3 days stay.

Everything was great except for one thing which I think can be fixed with some extra training, maybe serve safe classes. The staff member doing the cooking and food service in the breakfast buffet handled all the food without gloves or hair restraints. This was observed over the two days wè were there. We are retired food servers and know that this is not cool to do. Like I said, everything else was great. Oh thank you for the espresso machine!!!

The breakfast was good and the coffee was very good. The staff was friendly and very nice. They were very helpful with everything I needed.

Very clean hotel and staff is very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is delicious.

The room was large and very clean. The furnishing seemed new and comfortable. One of the reasons I chose the property was because the online information indicated that the breakfast was above average. It was not. It is nice that there is a breakfast menu posted in the breakfast area. But, most of the things on the menu are not offered. The eggs were terrible. The apple juice was water, with no apple. There was no butter. There was no bread to make toast. I would rate the breakfast at 1 on a scale of 1 to 10.

The coffee machine in the waiting room broke and we didn't have coffee one day and the one in the room didn't work either.

There was no coffee at the breakfast and the sign in the lobby was there the night before (out of coffee beans). The coffee machine in my room also did not work. They surely could have gotten some beans from somewhere.
