Great, modern hotel with a great range of amenities to enhance your stay. Loved the water machines and free coffee downstairs, along with the well equipped gym and roof top bar. The room was huge and very comfortable. Being a Canopy, it gave the feel of a boutique hotel but with the amenities of a Hilton. The location was also perfect.

Hotel is nicely updated and in a good location. It was disappointing that they closed the rooftop bar. We picked this hotel, even though it had highest rates among the neighboring hotels, because they advertised nice rooftop bar, but found out out that roof top bar was closed for the event.

Stayed a couple of days. Valet was actually excellent, quick, and efficient. The guys doing valet were auper on it and friendly. Check in was very easy. Roman and Alicia at the front desk were great, providing us with amazing service. I will say, the room was not the cleanest. Dog hair was all over, and there was a lot of dust on the very cute wooden walls. Baseboards in our room really needed help. So, yeah, like a 3 on cleanliness, because my allergies were off the wall! But the rooms are super modern, and even being right next to the rooftop bar, it was super quiet. All of our concerns were at least attempted resolved during our stay, with even the front desk going above and beyond when we had issues ordering in-room dining. I highly Recommend this hotel for a quick stay in Portland.

Upon first impression room is a ‘wow’ but as we spent time and with use I became aware of some shortcomings; while bathroom appears super-clean once in shower I became aware of soap scum caked in grout on shower wall ( just at shoulder to waist height) indicating housekeeping staff doesn’t really scrub shower enclosure… it was yucky! One of the two queen beds had apparently been used more and the mattress was soft on the edge; I felt as though I was fighting gravity all night not to roll toward the edge! When the bed was made up it looked perfectly fine. A housekeeping supervisor needs to do a better job overseeing the subtle conditions of the rooms!

Festering half eaten apples in the room when I checked in wasn't what I expected, the room stank. Staff didn’t seem interested with the issue, had to put the trash can (bin) in the corridor myself, they weren't interested.

The reception area, restaurant and seating areas were very nice. My bedroom was musty, the floors could use a good scrubbing. Cleaning service needs to do a better job freshening up the room. I have thick black hair and when I blow dry my hair it falls on the floor, after my room was “cleaned” my hair was still all over the bathroom floor my bed was also made very sloppy. The room was expensive so I expected more.

The hotel was clean and modern. The room was comfortable and quiet. We ate at the restaurant 3 times (breakfast twice, dinner once),and the food was always good. The location is good if you want to walk around Old Port. We definitely got our steps in! My only issue was the pillows... we don't like flat down pillows, so it would be nice to have some different options in the rooms. Other than that, we have no complaints! The ice/water refill machine near the elevator was especially handy.

Super clean and modern. The decor and amenities were awesome. It’s in an amazing location too! But…the walls are paper thin. For the price of the room, we should not be able to hear both of our neighbors. In addition, I think the “waterfront view” is slightly misleading, as there really isn’t any sightline to the water. It wasn’t an issue for us but could be for others.

Hotel was definitely not worth the cost! Couldn't get bottled water in the room, they offered "filtered" water and ice down the hall and provided a glass container to put it in. Water came out cloudy. Housekeeping inconsistent, internet down for 36 hours, no room service, very limited food choices/hours and no wait staff to speak of. Manager was gracious when we checked out to give us credits for the issues we had.

The hotel was located in a very convenient location for shopping and restaurants as well as the piers. We could walk to most things we wanted to see and do. The room was clean and comfortable. The look was very modern and fresh. Our room did not have much of a view (facing out the side of the hotel (not toward the harbor or the downtown area). The A/C did not work our first day there. Fortunately it was October but the evening sun did shine in and heat up our room. It was not repaired until our second day. Also, the water and ice machine on our floor did not work the entirety of our stay (3 nights) and had to go to a different floof for that service. The only self parking is a public lot next to the hotel which was a little pricey ($50 per night).

The hotel is beautiful and the location was great. The room was very comfortable and clean. I was bit disappointed with the staff at the rooftop bar. We saw an open spot on the outside corner and asked to be seated there. The hostess told us that they only sit large parties there. So that sat our party of four inside. Ten minutes later they sat three young girls the spot we requested. We had multiple drinks and appetizers, while the girls ordered two drinks between three of them. No other guests joined them. Not happy with this service

We checked in late on October 15th and no one was present at the front desk. The parking valet even looked for the front desk agent with no luck. We waited in the lobby for at least 30 minutes before the desk agent returned to the front desk. I requested a room upgrade due to our long wait and was denied. Customer service was horrible. The rest of our stay was very nice but checkin ruined our stay.

I surprised my fiancè with a birthday trip to Portland. A few days before, I called and asked the hotel if they could hang a birthday banner and some balloons in our room if I had the decorations shipped there. Rebekah and Roman at the front desk were more than accommodating! When we got up to our room, it was decorated beautifully and really added something special to our trip. We have stayed here once before and cannot recommend this hotel enough. Perfect location, extremely comfortable rooms and bedding and just an overall great experience!

It was a very nice place to stay over for a night in Portland. My only wish was that they had a better dinner restaurant for room service. I was pretty tired and am a bit lame theses days so having to go out to a restaurant was a bit of a challenge. Especially when it was advertised as having two restaurants. Which they do but only one is open in the evening and it's more of a cocktail lounge with light fare.

Hotel was very clean. Decor was nice. Valet was easy, though pricey. The only real amenity is the rooftop bar, which was closed for an event when I stayed. Unfortunately, that fact was not advertised, and we were told upon check in. I booked this hotel for that specifically, so it was annoying to not be told that it was closed. Also, I only booked this room two days before staying, so there was definitely time for the hotel to accurately disclose this. The room itself is spacious and bed is comfortable. But the functional aspects of the room are a little cheap. Limited furniture, so looks pretty bare. The "fridge drawer" is light duty and doesn't even keep water cold. Nowhere to hang a long dress or even pants without folding them. The shower size is ok, but the bathroom is tiny and oddly laid out. Overall the stay was fine, but nothing special. There are lots of hotel options in this area, all for similar cost, and most have better amenities, so although I wouldn't avoid this hotel, I probably will book elsewhere next time.

Rooftop bar! Great view. Drinks, service all excellent. Free coffee in lobby . We walked to many delicious restaurants. The rooms are so well thought out. Warning: $40 a night for parking.

This is a well run hotel with great staff. Everything feels new and updated. The rooftop bar was a great place to grab a drink. The valet parking was fast and efficient. Being down on the wharf gave us access to lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Also a quick ride from the airport
