Stayed 2 nights

An amazing stay for a couple of days, the cottage is well-kept and was a real home away from home. We made use of it as friends on a road trip, which it was fantastic for. I suspect it would suit couples wanting a relaxing getaway even better still. The property was clean, tidy, and very well looked after. I appreciated how mindful the owners are of sustainable living (and also appreciated how incredibly comfy the bed was, especially after some cancelled flights chaos that made my arrival day very long!) Gillian was very welcoming, and was reachable by message for the few questions I had - though everything was well-communicated from the check-in process to making use of a few things in the house. The provided app guide was very useful too, and we made use of some local restaurants and beaches we'd otherwise not have known about! The property is rural and car access is most ideal for guests, though there are a couple of shops and a train station within a walking distance. The area is stunningly beautiful, with Binevenagh mountain gracing the view right outside. This added to the historic cottage charm (and only one minor head bump on the low door frames!) My phone connected to Irish networks several times due to proximity to the national border - not an issue for me, but maybe noteworthy for anyone without data roaming. An altogether lovely stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, or recommend to someone else.
