The Royal Senses Resort & Spa Crete, Curio Collection Hilton

Excellent resort, perfect for families with little kids! My wife and 3-year old stayed for 4 lovely nights and had a great time. The staff is incredible and the grounds are well-tended to. We rented a car so we could explore the island and not just stay camped in at the resort. The beach is accessible through their sister property and they run shuttles every 30 minutes. It was superb. Highly recommend! Plenty to do - so much swimming!

Best buffet in the world!!! Truly we couldn’t stop eating haha . Our room was very nice. Lovely pools . Really kids and family friendly. The water park is amazing also for adults

Amazing resort. This is one nicest and best run hotels in all of Greece. They do an excellent job of ensuring you are relaxing during your holiday. The adults only section of this hotel is amazing!

Im adult only Poolbereich gab es 3 jacuzzi, 2 davon haben nicht funktioniert. Gym super Klein, schlecht ausgestattet. Allgemein waren viele Sachen im Hotel kaputt, man kann es nicht übersehen.

Amaizing from top to bottom, great service and restaurants, great pool, alot of space in the pool, has a shuttle to the beach 2 mins drive,Great breakfast!!! We had a late flight and they have showers and fitting rooms and you can stay aslong as you want,wow,wow,wow!

Amazing resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Pools were great and well maintained and the water slides kept my 11 year old, and me, entertained as did the Tennis courts. Very relaxing and fantastic sunset views. Limited things to do in the immediate vicinty and the buffet food could have been better. Otherwise really enjoyed the stay and made full use of the spa.

Wir haben bei Ankunft ein Zimmerupgrde erhalten. Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet und super sauber. Der Pool auf der Terrasse war auch sehr sauber und mit Meerblick. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich und lecker. Der Service immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Restaurants Mitato und Cretamos sind ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Super leckere griechische Speisen, auf hohem Niveau zubereitet. Zum Geburtstag meiner Freundin gab es dann sogar einen Geburtstagskuchen und eine Flasche Sekt als Geschenk. Das zeigt wie Aufmerksam und zuvorkommend das ganze Hotelpersonal die Gäste behandelt. Alles in allem ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

The hotel itself is visually impressive, with beautiful interior design and an aesthetically pleasing pool area. Unfortunately, the negative aspects outweighed the positives. Our room regularly smelled of sewage — something completely unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was at best lukewarm, lacked variety, and the overall quality was disappointing. The staff were often inattentive and at times unfriendly. For example, when we ordered hot water for breakfast, we were served milk instead. After housekeeping, the entire floor was left wet and leaving a musty smell of damp cloths. Overall, this is definitely not five-star standard. The current high ratings do not reflect our experience.

Pulizia, comfort e magnifica gestione delle code e degli spazi per non creare mai disagio o mancanze a nessun ospite e accogliendo tutte le richieste col sorriso. We loved this hotel! We chose this hotel because of location, a little secluded but 20 minutes from Rethymno. It was nice to have the seclusion and quiet feel since we were on our honeymoon. Staff was wonderful, accommodations were wonderful. They sent us a bottle of champagne when they found out we were on our honeymoon. Only complaint was that our shower kept getting flooded and there was a drainage smell, but staff fixed it right away. Also, our pool light in our room was not getting fixed. The night staff didn't know too much about technical support, so we would have to wait until morning for things to get fixed. Absolutely loved our room setup, and how the bed was faced towards the window.

The private pool in the room was not clean for three days, and they did not offer us an alternative room.

Ein tolles Hotel. Unsere privat Pool Villa war wundervoll. Es waren aber wirklich sehr viele Familien mit Kindern dort.

Alles in allem eine ganz ganz tolle Hotel Anlage - wirklich wunderschön! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit privat Pool, der sehr schön war, allerdings auch relativ einsehbar daher dann nicht mehr so „privat“. Der Sonnenuntergang vom Buffet Restaurant war wirklich traumhaft. Allerdings mangelt es noch sehr am Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind teilweise arrogant, teilweise aber auch sehr nett. Teils sehr unorganisiert. Tage vor unserer Anreise wussten wir, dass es an Tag x regnen wird. Die einzigen, die davon überrascht waren, war das Hotel Personal beim Frühstück. Selbstverständlich will sich niemand in den Regen setzen, drinnen waren aber nicht genug Sitzplätze. Also mussten alle draußen stehen und warten, bis das andere Restaurant eingedeckt war. An der Poolbar wird nur sporadisch bedient, diese macht auch um 18 Uhr zu, was uns nicht bewusst war. Wir haben um ca 17:15 essen bestellt und Getränke. Diese waren natürlich leer, bis um ca 5 vor 6 das Essen kam. Niemand fragte, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten, geschweige denn mit dem Hintergrund, dass wir in wenigen Minuten nichts nachbestellen könnten. Zudem war das Sandwich eiskalt. Möchte man an den Pools oben was trinken, muss man runter laufen und mit einem Tablett selber seine Getränke tragen. Ebenso kostet der indoor Pool bzw. Der überdachte Pool Teil 20€/Person/Stunde. Das ist wirklich ziemlich frech. Vor den Zimmern steht ewig das Obst des Vortages rum, was die Hotel Gäste vor die Türe stellen wenn sie es nicht mehr wollen.

Beautiful hotel and service was fantastic in every part of the hotel except for the buffet. There were a lot of staff but always had to call someone to the table to either get a drink or set the table. Also, ordered drinks that never came. This happened on multiple occasions. Other than that, the hotel service was impeccable. I would highly recommend.

A good quality hotel with some disappointing elements to our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned very well. We had a shared swim up room and it was very spacious even with 3 people in one room. The pools are very good and sun loungers really comfortable. Service by the pool was in general very good, however the drink quality was more "all inclusive" than al a carte (even though you are paying for it). Don't be fooled by instagram, the drinks don't look like that around the pool. They are very quickly made and of average quality. The breakfast buffet is by far the worst I have ever experienced. For the cost of a room you would expect some level of freshly cooked food, but its all buffet. They have a lady making omelettes, but its poured out of a 3 litre pre-mixed jug and tasted horrible. Buffet eggs were under cooked and pre-cooked boiled eggs were raw. There was plenty of pastry / pancakes etc so young children would probably be happy. In a nut shell they are serving a cheap buffet breakfast that you would expect in a lower class of hotel. You can have breakfast in your room / pool on a floating platter - but its just the buffet brought to you so don't waste your money. Location is poor you can't walk anywhere - the sister hotel on the beach in front is separated by a motorway, there is a free shuttle. You have to get a taxi to visit any restaurants outside the hotel or the sister hotel - 18 euro to small town / 50 euro to the large town

This must be my best stay at a hotel ever (i’m 37 years old and travel alot). BEAUTIFUL hotel & our room was gorgeous! Nice, polite and service minded staff that always helped me and my gf if needed. Great location with a private beach, great pool area with a nice bar. Spa, gym and 3 restaurants! Our week here was worth every penny and we will love to visit again soon 😊 also thank you for your lovely farewell gift bag with Greek olive oil and candy. 12/10!

Top notch service from the moment you walk in. Everybody, and I mean everybody there provides the best service/friendliness/helpfulness. Whoever does the hiring there does a great job finding such incredible employees. The resort itself is amazing. Clean, beautiful, beautiful views, great pools, good food. I can’t say enough about this place. I guess the one negative (or positive for some people) is that it’s quite a drive to get anywhere. But I guess that’s just Crete being a big island with everything spread out.

Our room regularly smelled of sewage — something completely unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was at best lukewarm, lacked variety, and the overall quality was disappointing. The staff were often inattentive and at times unfriendly. For example, when we ordered hot water for breakfast, we were served milk instead. After housekeeping, the entire floor was left wet and leaving a musty smell of damp cloths. Overall, this is definitely not five-star standard. The current high ratings do not reflect our experience.

Begrüßung und verabschiedung an der Rezeption war sehr professionell und sehr freundlich und herzlich. Wir sind auf besserer Zimmer upgegradet worden. Die Mitarbeiter in den ganzen hotel waren sehr freundlich und professionell. Speise auswahl war nicht vielfältig und die Speise am büffet und Kaffee war manchmal nicht heiß.

A good quality hotel with some disappointing elements to our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned very well. We had a shared swim up room and it was very spacious even with 3 people in one room. The pools are very good and sun loungers really comfortable. Service by the pool was in general very good, however the drink quality was more "all inclusive" than al a carte (even though you are paying for it). Don't be fooled by instagram, the drinks don't look like that around the pool. They are very quickly made and of average quality. The breakfast buffet is by far the worst I have ever experienced. For the cost of a room you would expect some level of freshly cooked food, but its all buffet. They have a lady making omelettes, but its poured out of a 3 litre pre-mixed jug and tasted horrible. Buffet eggs were under cooked and pre-cooked boiled eggs were raw. There was plenty of pastry / pancakes etc so young children would probably be happy. In a nut shell they are serving a cheap buffet breakfast that you would expect in a lower class of hotel. You can have breakfast in your room / pool on a floating platter - but its just the buffet brought to you so don't waste your money. Location is poor you can't walk anywhere - the sister hotel on the beach in front is separated by a motorway, there is a free shuttle. You have to get a taxi to visit any restaurants outside the hotel or the sister hotel - 18 euro to small town / 50 euro to the large town

I absolutely loved this property. Dinner at Cretamos was exquisite! The food and service was beyond perfection. The food in the main dining area was amazing as well. The service was excellent. If I’m am ever back in Crete, this is where I would stay again.

Absolutely stunning property. Amazing upgrade for us to their beautiful villa with incredible views of the sea. Delicious dining options and breakfast. Excellent cleanliness of resort and rooms daily and amazing service from start to finish. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Beautiful hotel and service was fantastic in every part of the hotel except for the buffet. There were a lot of staff but always had to call someone to the table to either get a drink or set the table. Also, ordered drinks that never came. This happened on multiple occasions. Other than that, the hotel service was impeccable. I would highly recommend.

Complètement satisfait par l'hôtel et les prestations. Le personnel est aimable, compétant et toujours à l'écoute. La restauration très correcte. Un bon choix que nous recommandons sans problème.

Amazing resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Pools were great and well maintained and the water slides kept my 11 year old, and me, entertained as did the Tennis courts. Very relaxing and fantastic sunset views. Limited things to do in the immediate vicinty and the buffet food could have been better. Otherwise really enjoyed the stay and made full use of the spa.
