Run by a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal of steak was cooked to perfection. Lovely to have a bar and to be able to have dinner on site. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Breakfast was cooked to order and once again compliments to the chef! All in all a delightful stay.

The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Food options for breakfast and in the restaurant consisted of a good choice and were perfectly cooked by Barry. Advertised as a B&B, they have a licensed bar and evening restaurant which elevated it's level of amenities. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful relaxing stay from start to finish , to point didn't want to leave . Was made extremely welcome by the hosts , pleasant food evening meals and breakfast . Great selection of evening food . Well stocked bar . Room very tired perfect temperature not over hot Great location to travel around local area . Even saw the Royal Fly pass for kings birthday travel to the troop of colours for the kings flying from local RAF Coningsby home of the Lancaster Bomber. We will be back Oh fabulous Royal Carpet 😉

We had a great stay here, lovely quiet area, we found on a last minute stay and it’s a little gem, it’s a short drive to Skegness as that was our intention for the stay however we didn’t mind that, it’s nice that they accommodated for more than 2 children in the room share as we have 3, the owners are lovely and made us feel comfortable from the get go, the only issue we had was the shower, we found the water was far to hot to shower the kids even on the lowest setting which would have been difficult if we had decided to stay longer than a night, breakfast was nice and was asked what time we preferred to have it which with 3 children it’s chaotic in the morning so it made it easier not to have to rush down

No major problems with the hotel. Host was very friendly and room acceptable. Only gripe was the shower controls, difficult to get the temperature right and watrr pressure which of course is not cotrollable by the hotel.

I would have given this property a 5 star review apart from the poor operation of the shower and toilet in our room.It maybe been due to low water pressure but the shower took at least 3or 4 minutes of running the water for it to get hot and it had no power .The toilet had a week flush and it took an age for the flush system to refill. However all other aspects of our stay were excellent.

I was made to feel very welcome - though it was apparent that The Crown Lodge is much more a B&B and less an hotel. It was rather further from my trip destination - RAF Coningsby - than was comfortable BUT this was largely because there were three or four road diversions every time I went to or returned from anywhere!

The room was lovely, very comfy and clean,very quiet through the stay. There's nothing around but we found a few walks to kill time... The 3 stars I gave because, they didn't cater for vegan or celiac. I did mention it to them way before we arrived and they did mention I could bring my own food and they would cook it but I paid (full)for bed and breakfast, I couldn't have cereal as no milk,if the weather wasn't so warm I may have brought my things but I wouldn't of paid full payment. My breakfast that I got was ok, my sister had the last 2 slice of Freefrom bread as she couldn't have a it at teatime otherwise she wouldn't be able to have the bacon sandwich. The room was lovely, very comfy and clean,very quiet through the stay. There's nothing around but we found a few walks to kill time... The 3 stars I gave because, they didn't cater for vegan or celiac. I did mention it to them way before we arrived and they did mention I could bring my own food and they would cook it but I paid (full)for bed and breakfast, I couldn't have cereal as no milk,if the weather wasn't so warm I may have brought my things but I wouldn't of paid full payment. My breakfast that I got was ok, my sister had the last 2 slice of Freefrom bread as she couldn't have a it at teatime otherwise she wouldn't be able to have the bacon sandwich. The owners are very welcoming and nothings to much trouble.Lovely walk along the river.Food was good and not overpriced.The local area is a bit isolated and rundown.

Beautiful relaxing stay from start to finish , to point didn't want to leave . Was made extremely welcome by the hosts , pleasant food evening meals and breakfast . Great selection of evening food . Well stocked bar . Room very tired perfect temperature not over hot Great location to travel around local area . Even saw the Royal Fly pass for kings birthday travel to the troop of colours for the kings flying from local RAF Coningsby home of the Lancaster Bomber. We will be back Oh fabulous Royal Carpet 😉

Run by a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal of steak was cooked to perfection. Lovely to have a bar and to be able to have dinner on site. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Breakfast was cooked to order and once again compliments to the chef! All in all a delightful stay.

The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Food options for breakfast and in the restaurant consisted of a good choice and were perfectly cooked by Barry. Advertised as a B&B, they have a licensed bar and evening restaurant which elevated it's level of amenities. Would definitely book again.

We had a very relaxing stay, owners were very friendly made us feel welcome. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning before our trip back up north. If we are in the area again will definitely stay here

The Crown b&b is a warm inviting, cosy establishment. The owners are very friendly & helpful. There is a small bar area which is well stocked. You can relax on one of their sumptuous sofas. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. Our room covered all our requirements, tea, coffee & water were provided. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was very clean but well used. The breakfast provided was substantial with a full English, cereal, juice and tea/Coffee. We would highly recommend a stay here if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle. Tattershall & Woodhall Spa are in close proximity.

I can't for the life of me understand why there were some negative comments about this place. The owners were very nice and helpful. It was peaceful and very quiet at night and we engaged in some banter with the locals too.
