Location was excellent, a short walk to Whiskey Row and numerous other restaurants, pubs, etc. Keep in mind parking is limited in a small lot adjacent to the property, but a sign in the lobby described a second parking location within a few blocks. Nothing exceptional, but that's not a bad thing, the room met expectations for the price point and location. Recommended, I would stay here again.

Parking was awful paid $17 (Hoilday Inn price) to park at the YMCA around the corner due to no parking spots left in their parking lot. Staff communication about parking was not the best. During check out we still ended up having to pay the YMCA parking price due to lack of communication during check in. If you stay here and have to park at the YMCA just pay for parking there. It’s only $10 and we ended up paying almost $30 for parking for one night. Probably will find a different hotel next time. Very small parking lot

Staff were very friendly and understanding. Breakfast was delicious and the service top notch. Biggest letdown: parking. It cost $17.00 and was a first-come basis without enough room for everyone; I had a space for a few hours, but I had to park on the street when I returned (10 PM) from an outting.

Very friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Well situated in Louisville. Cannot comment on breakfast as we never went to down for it. Only thing I’d say is that parking is pretty limited at the hotel, although there is added parking at the Y not too far away.

Parking is 17/day and you may or may not get a space. If you don't, you have to park at a YMCA 2 blocks away and get your ticket validated. No pool. Otherwise the room was nice, clean and the staff is great.

The hotel was in great condition but the parking policy needs to be re-evaluated. They charge for parking at the hotel but then say it is, "first come first serve". So, I had to pay for parking but not have access to parking if it\'s full? This is a blatant grab for money and was very disappointing despite having an enjoyable stay otherwise. It will be difficult to consider this property another time.

The restaurant in the basement was a nice option, like that they have laundry facilities but no way to get change (they are cashless), beds are nice, overall it’s fine for a quick trip in and out. Within walking distance to the emergency, rehab and heart hospitals.

In a desolate area. Small hotel. Rooms in the first floor look out on the sidewalk of a busy street. Ask for a higher floor. Understaffed. Restaurant was closed when I was there.

Rooms were nice. Shower drains pool water a bit but nothing too concerning. The updated bathrooms were very nice. Our room reminded me of a dorm room but that's because of the position ofbthe room in the corner of the building. Disappointed that the bar was not staffed to be open at all and the hotel clerk could not remember the last time she has seen it open, but with plenty of bars just steps away fron the hotel it was fine. The employee staff should tell the guest upfront about how to get out the parking deck they partner with, when you cannot find a park at the hotel.

The hotel appears understaffed. The hotel bar was closed and the restaurant was only open for breakfast (breakfast was a whole other issue) The closures were due to the only bartender being out sick with no replacement for guests.

My wife and I stayed at your property this past weekend, and I want to share our experience directly with you before posting a review. Our first room assignment was in unacceptable condition — it was filthy, and we immediately returned to the front desk to be reassigned. The second room was cleaner, but the air conditioning was not functioning. We reported this issue on Thursday afternoon. Breakfast restaurant was closed do to flood the first two days . Sewage smell in the lobby and bar. The last two days the restaurant was out of eggs and then no bacon or sausage. The roo m was not clealned the last day. The staff was trying hard, but there was a lack of management.

We got there late the evening of our reservation. There was no parking available. We had booked a king bed room, when we got to our room it hadn’t been cleaned. They then moved us to a queen bed room. When leaving today we found a cockroach crawling on the floor.

We often stay at holiday inn’s and have never had a problem with them. The first 3 nights we were in a room right next to an exit of the hotel and could hear every single person coming in and out of the double doors. We didn’t mention anything to the hotel and just sucked it up. The noise outside of the hotel is very loud as it’s right off a busy street downtown and a nearby hospital that has ambulances with sirens on a lot of times. The worst part of the trip was the last night when we got back to our hotel room later at night and the ceiling in our bathroom was leaking. The floor was wet in the bathroom and my wife got dripped on before she realized why it was so wet in there. We went to the front desk and never received an apology for an inconvenience. They told us “s*** were all booked up tonight”. They offered us a room where someone had gone into the room and sat on the bed but it hadn’t been cleaned yet. Then said there was one room that someone hadn’t showed up for yet and gave us that room. Asked us for our keys to our leaking room even though we hadn’t packed anything yet. Offered us no assistance moving rooms. Still didn’t apologize. We got moved rooms and brought the room key to the lobby. I asked if I could grab two waters out of the fridge and the front desk asked if we wanted it charged to the room. I asked if we could have them for free for the inconvenience and he said no he would still have to charge me. The lack of customer service was very disappointing.

The location was ideal for my needs, but the location came off as potentially sketchy as well. Parking is limited and congested. Otherwise, very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. If you get a Muhammed Ali Blvd facing room, I would see if about changing rooms, if possible. That side of the hotel is very noisy.

We were told we could check in a bit early and to go ahead and go to hotel. When we arrived we were told it would be a bit but the front desk would call when room was ready. I never got a call. We finally had to leave as we had somewhere to be. We when got back to hotel we were put In a room with a queen bed when my reservation clearly said king bed. We walked into the room abt uh was 84 degrees in our very small room. Then they also charged wrong amount.

Avoid this hotel. I informed the front desk at check-in that I’d be paying on checkout and would need a receipt in my company’s name. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. But at checkout, they refused to issue the receipt. When I asked for the manager, they were called but didn’t show up or respond. I had to leave to catch a flight, and the issue was left unresolved. The gentleman working at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and updated. Ice maker wasn't working during our stay. Area around the hotel had some homeless on the streets. Within walking distance of many restaurants.

Limited parking, if you arrive back to the hotel late you have to park in a garage a short distance away. My car windows along with 6 others were bashed in over night and the hotel wanted nothing to do with it. You are surrounded by homeless people and a shady side of town. Spend your money at a different hotel closer to the river with more parking and security.

Jay greated me with the kindness and utmost courtesy. He was so very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The bar staff were delightful and eager to serve. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and all around the room was inviting. I would not recommend the breakfast however. The menu is misleading, not to the fault of the restaurant staff. But the cook was not prepared for the volume of service my party came with along and also other guests. Aside from the food, their attitude and kindness was a delight. That is the only area of improvement i found with this hotel. Other than that everything was great!

It was nice enough and the first man at the front desk was wonderful the other lady not so much. Not friendly nothing. didn't say hello just doing her job. this small hotel charges 17.00 per night for parking f.y.i. and It is a so so area, lots of homeless people. this is the smallest holiday Inn i have ever seen. It was something else before and looks like they bought it. It was clean though and the bed was comforable. I wouldn't stay here again though. the restaurant is meh,

Stuck in snowstorm and were so happy to find this place for the night. Really nice staff and much nicer facility than we were expecting for the great price. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling. Beds were very comfortable.
