We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was big, with a large kitchen, and there were several shops nearby (Carrefour, Coccinelle and Leclerc). The staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel is not far from the city centre (about a 20-minute walk). The hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are basic but spacious. There are also lots of services available on the reception floor, although we didn't use any of them. One difficulty we had was that Google Maps couldn't find the hotel's address. To reach the hotel, you have to use the name of the restaurant next to it: Gold Beef.

If you enjoy ants overrunning the kitchen and living area, then this might be the place for you. Unfortunately, the infestation made it extremely difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during the stay. The problems did not stop there. The entrance door was repeatedly kicked, and someone was playing with or tampering with the locks, which made the property feel unsafe and unsettling. It was impossible to properly switch off, particularly at night, because of the constant noise and concern about what was happening outside the door. Overall, the experience was anything but peaceful. Between the ants throughout the living space and the disturbance and security concerns at the entrance, getting a decent night’s sleep was extremely difficult. If you are looking for somewhere clean, secure and quiet where you can relax, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
