This is a very cute older home. Unfortunately I have to report. It is not very well kept up. Well the two bathrooms are newly remodeled in the kitchen as well, and they are lovely, there are many upgrades needed to this house to make it worth the money. Most of the windows have no screens in them and the ones that do, the screens are broken and falling apart, but still in the windows, making them look very unkempt and dirty. Window pans are filthy dirty. Outdoor areas are not well maintained at all. We had a small gathering and needed to do much cleanup in order to have people join us in the outdoor spaces. Bedrooms are very small. Two queen size beds and two of the rooms. A trundle bed in the third room that is almost not big enough to pull up the trundle bed. As an old home, I totally understand that they’re not very many outlets, but in one of the bedrooms, you have to stretch the cords across the room in order to reach the single power outlet. The second bathroom is in the basement, which is down about eight steep steps into an unfinished basement. This should probably have been a little better indicated as grandparents cannot make it down those steps very easily. The living room is locking furniture and barely seat six people. A couple of the carpets are old, dirty and corners are curled up. The couch is very old in need of replacement. There’s no coffee table in the living room. Towels and sheets are clean, but house is in need of repair in upgrade.

The house was very cute but very old. I don’t think that was displayed on the description accurately. That’s why I held back the 5 stars. I didn’t mind it being old it was very charming, but felt like it should have been described as original to 1949. We were there for only quick short trip so it suited us well. The bedrooms were very small and we are very tall people, so the pictures were a bit deceptive in that regard. 2 twin beds is really just a trundle on the floor. For an adult, the his wasn’t comfortable. The house was very clean. Easy to access. Located centrally to the college and downtown.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay! Communication with the hosts was very prompt and provided us with great information. We enjoyed the older charm of the home and the modern upgrades that have been made.

Great spot for BSU Family Weekend celebrations. Easy walk to our kid’s place, and even doable to campus and the game! Super cute place.
