Hotel Luna Lughente

Disappointing stay – check for events before booking. There were some positives. The pool was the highlight, our room was clean and comfortable, although dated. We had a lower-floor quadruple room with no balcony or views, which was a shame. Reception staff were helpful and rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel has some lovely views from other areas.Breakfast was okay but had little variety and was the same each morning. The coffee definitely needs improvement – it came from a machine and wasn’t great. A car is really necessary. Olbia is only a short drive away and we went there most evenings. The hotel restaurant was expensive and didn’t really suit our needs. Beach sunbeds also come at an additional cost. Free beach towels were provided, which was a nice touch. The beaches were extremely crowded, although we expected this in August, and this did take away from appreciating what is probably beautiful scenery. We also heard lots of reports of thefts from cars around some beaches, so we chose to park on the street instead and had no problems. The biggest issue was the noise. During our four-night stay, there was a very loud open-air festival nearby and we were kept awake until around 5am on three nights. We weren’t warned about this before arrival. When we raised it, we were told it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility and were advised to use earplugs. The hotel has positives, particularly the pool, cleanliness and helpful staff, but check for events it did impact significantly

Didnt really live up to the pictures/stars it has, then on the other hand we mostly prefer boutique hotels which this is not.

We loved Luna Lughente! The vibe is kind of retro and the suites we had were beautiful, comfortable, and very spacious. A beautiful view of the pool and Mountains that we will never forget. The included free breakfast was great every morning and our most adored part is the beach. The section of beach Pittulongu that belongs to the hotel is fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!

Rooms was clean and the staff is friendly. Outdoor pool was dirty when we intended to use it. Breakfasts was terrible to the point that I avoid it and prefer to drive to find a place. Eggs were always gone and poor choices to start the day with. Beds were all terrible I could not sleep good at all and wake up every single day with back pain. In other words not worth the money spent. Low quality hotel.

What an amazing place! Food! Customer service the best I’ve ever received in my life! Very kind and helpful. Love each second my stay at this hotel. View was amazing ! I felt I was in paradise !
