Cool hotel that’s very clean and modern. However the airport shuttle is too limited and really isn’t useful. Ended up in Uber.

The stay in general was good, however you should improve the breakfasts since it is very limited in options, additionally you should clean the pool.

Airport shuttle was a plus

Hotel was clean but the card machine was down so we had to have someone unlock our door each time we left and came back. Something to note on the airport shuttle! You will get an email saying they only run a certain time of day but the front desk said that would take us anytime.

This hotel was in a perfect spot close to everything.....Nice and quiet with a gym and a nice pool....Breakfast was included and was good..i stayed 3 nights and was not disappointed...i rented a car when i got off the plane and direction to this hotel were easy and stressfree......Alina the sweet lady that worked the front desk was amazing and very helpful and friendly....she recommended a great beach restaurant and was on point.....The room was great clean smelled good i was by myself and then room was perfect for me......When i come back to South Florida i will definitely be staying here for the prices and location.....A+

Great location since it’s close to the airport. Staff was really accommodating, we arrived really early for check in cause of our flight and within an hour we had a room. Breakfast selection was small but good enough for a quick grab n go. Coffee all day long. Room was clean and the pool was nice. The hot tub was filthy, couldn’t use it.

Great stay! Third time's a charm. Friendly staff, they remember your face and your name. Always willing to assist. Tea and coffee available 24/7. Conveniently located near airport and cruise port, shops and restaurants. The price is always right.

Just noticed a few maintenance items one the toilet seat needs to be replaced ot tightned up. Parking was good and shuttle to airport nice.

Nice breakfast, area very clean and tidied. Room flooring was terrible. Vinyl plank flooring lifting or chipped everywhere, safety hazard. Floor guy should be jailed! Everything else was fine.

Our fist impression was good when we got there and checked in but when we were leaving my wife noticed that there were some kind of insect smashed at the bed comforter and that was nasty and the feeling was horrible thinking the the whole night I slept closed to an insect that apparently was cockroach.

The food was okay nothing to write home about ,terrible coffee though!The shuttle was fine but no one knew what time it started in the AM and i think if you offer shuttle it should start at the same time the airport actually opens not at 8 ,also each person we asked ga e us a different time ! The rooms were okay the shower floor was stained wirh dirty feet and also mold and hard water crust .The flooring was peeling up and not secure .As for the reception area was hot as hell and had water drips and celiling was peeling and water marks .

Would not recommend, hotel is outdated, small rooms, and dirty. Bathrooms were black, floors and bed were filthy, and the corners of the room look like they have never been swept or wiped down. Sam at the front desk was AMAZING, went above and beyond. He immediately changed our room when asked. I appreciate him so much. But the hotel needs some love.

We stayed there for 5 days and the shower was not clean even once. I had to request for the bed sheet to be change. The housekeeper do not do the work and dirt is equal to diseases. Very disappointed of the lack of cleanliness

Front desk staff always nice as well as cleaning crew, hotel was clean in general and rooms seemed clean but I did notice a leak in shower where the seal seems to be missing so leaks out and there is mold in some areas of shower from moisture that need to be cleaned better besides that only complain was that in our 3 night stay we had to go to front desk 5 times to change key card as it kept not working. (No wasn’t in wallet nor near phone for that same reason so it wouldn't mess up but still happened)!

I really like the hotel but they have to do better with the cleaning. In the room I was in you can see juice stains on the floor and the bed dust ruffle had hair, dust and stains on it.

My family and I booked a cruise to the Bahamas so we wanted a hotel close to the port. We stayed here for two nights. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were okay, however, we had issues with the first room being unclean and there was water on the bathroom floor. We were moved to another room and it wasn’t in the best condition also. The floors in the room and bathroom were not clean and the shower was not clean. I will not ever return to stay at this hotel.

No microwave and room was small and no closet

The room was super clean and very attractive. The bed was great. The fitness room has very nice equipment. The lobby was sharp and the breakfast was on point

Picked this hotel because it was new, but room very small and almost impossible to open our suitcases. Cushion on wall at one suitcase place fell off wall because screws were only going into drywall. On paper this hotel could check all the boxes, but it seemed a non-human designed it. Maybe done by "AI".

We picked here having never visited the city & I can say we won’t be staying here again. It wasn’t as convenient as we had thought since the turn onto the road we often needed was permanently closed even though google maps had it open. The hotel itself was okay; the breakfast was well stocked although very cramped & hard for more than one party to get to food at once. The room was VERY small, only a foot or so on each side of the bed & a walkway to the door. Not much else. The “desk” was about a laptop on width, but again not much else. The bathroom was good enough size & had what was needed, shower only. An issue for me with the bathroom is that the light was motion activated and could not be completely turned off. This meant whenever you got up to pee at night you woke up the whole room with the bright lights! Super annoying! My biggest issue was the lack of closet. The only thing you have to hang anything is random hooks shoulder level or higher hooks over a random bench inset area in the room. I had an ankle length dress & I couldn’t hang it well as it was too long, so it hung awkwardly into the small area between the bed & wall & kept getting caught on things. The hotel did provide a steamer, but hotel rooms needs a closet in the room to hang things up so they don’t get destroyed! We also had issues with the staff who cleaned our room they took ALL the towels in the bathroom, even the ones we had hung to reuse & let us with NONE. We had to run to the desk ourselves more

Only problem the rooms are small, there is no microwave, the fridge is tiny. Other than that its a wonderful place

Overall a great crash spot for before or after a cruise. It was crazy busy when we arrived. Rooms are nice but small. The beds are comfortable and the TV's are big. The bathroom offers Dove products which is nice. Only thing missing is a rug to put down in front of the shower and tissue boxes. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a horrible trip upon arriving. The airline left our luggage out in the rain, so EVERYTHING was soaked. The staff at the hotel helped us so much and we were so appreciative. Job well done!

We needed transportation to airport and they were accommodating even though it wasn’t the scheduled time they came back and made another trip

My stay was great, I checked in way beyond check in time due to a late arrival of my flight. I stayed in contact with Greg, who was very helpful and kept great communication from time I booked my stay up until I landed. The young man (Carlos)who picked me up from the airport was very friendly. The young lady who checked me in was phenomenal. She had all my packages in a box ready and waiting for my arrival, she personally showed me to my room and made sure I was comfortable and safe. Even though I spent one night, my experience was 10/10.

The start has the patience of saints. Some of these travelers put the staff to the text. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was welcoming. Worked great. Also didn't know it was part of the IHG family of hotels

My stay at [AVID HOTEL] was fantastic! Kendall at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making my check-in smooth and enjoyable. Her friendly personality and local tips enhanced my experience immensely. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it was Kendall's outstanding service that made my visit truly special. I highly recommend this hotel!.

Great place to stay even if you will be commuting to airport or cruise port. Staff is great, special mention to the ladies on the front desk who helped me a lot with transportation and shuttle coordination

We absolutely loved the breakfast! The staff were friendly. The manager was very welcoming! He always smiled and talked to us and said hello.

The staff were great. The computers were down when I first checked in. Later when I finally was able to check in. This was not the staff’s fault and they handled it very professionally.

Horrible we had 3pm check in and was not able to check in until 8 pm . The lobby was filled with guests waiting for there rooms

The front desk staff was unwelcoming. Acted as if me checking was a bither. Totally unprofessional. I was quoted $197, but got there and its $247. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Place is modern, updated, clean, and overall just a great facility. The only drawback is that it is near the industrial/business part of Ft. Lauderdale. Not close walking distance to anything of note (shopping, dining, beach). The staff were very knowledgeable about how to navigate anywhere.

Very bad breakfast

Very poor breakfast, they may as well not offer, so guests know to go somewhere to eat. It’s all frozen stuff, they run out in the first hour and don’t replace anything. An hour into breakfast, they tell you there is no more left of anything , then pull out the frozen bagels and yogurt . Go elsewhere, very new building with very poor service.

Breakfast started too late and it’s not a hot breakfast.

Great hotel near Ft. Lauderdale airport. Was very clean, modern and nice staff. Late checkout was very helpful. Nice breakfast with excellent coffee. I would definitely stay here again next time I fly in or out of Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Very conveniently close to the Fort Lauderdale airport. My flight was too early to use their shuttle but it’s so close that an uber ride is super affordable. I appreciated the complimentary coffee, check in/check out was smooth, bed was very comfy. Even tough breakfast started at 7, they already had bananas and muffins out at 6 for us early risers which was great! I’m a bit type A with cleanliness so I notice some dust on the bed head board and a small stain on sheet covers, but overall a clean enough comfy room

The worst IHG hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We were here for a pre-cruise stay, for the first and last time. Our TV didn’t work. We were told someone would come up to look at it. No one ever did. Breakfast was a joke. Food was diagusting. Raisin Bran or Lucky Charms, all juices mislabeled so no idea what would come out. Eggs that literally taste like plastic. Room was clean-ish, unless you actually looked. Terrible hotel. Don’t stay here.
