Advertised as an airport hotel - to some extent that is true. Presented well ( although typical designer weaknesses ( wow - how that water sprays everywhere when the bathroom sink tap is turned on and - where do I put a few bathroom items ) ) and typical Red branding. Fantastic and helpful staff and restaurant was tasty and plentiful. Major gripe is the bus connectivity to the terminal. For us it worked at 4.20 ( no 4.00am run) but every 45 mins is not sufficient for its location. Frustrated also that the rooms have no heating. Cold only option and thus only warm option was Heating to OFF.

Room was ok but very dark so you couldn’t see in the full length mirror, no soap in the shower dispenser, bed was like lying on concrete, pendant light was hanging by the raw plug out of the ceiling, one of the nets in the room was missing. The lifts didn’t work and as a guest you still had to pay £12 for the carpark. Would not return!!

The hotel is fine, and if you don't mind a short walk, it's easy to get a bus too and from Gatwick. Would have rated a lot higher but the bathroom stank of drains and the shower wouldn't drain (maybe a link there). Shower tray overflows so water all over the floor. Would be easy to fix but I didn't get the impression that that's what the staff were thinking about.

Heating system in the room was faulty- cold room. Shower water temperature scalding with no possibility of tempering it- faulty battery. Cobwebs in my room, bathroom corners not very clean, some hairs( room 309). Good and professional service, decent dinner for a reasonable price in the restaurant.

The hotel and room are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bed felt larger than a king size, and i had the best sleep in a long time! Staff were friendly and helpful. My only irk was that the bathroom had mould around the shower and the walls were dirty. There was also a lot of dust in the bedroom, but being near the airport, i expected this! Reasonably priced for a good room. Would recommend 👍

It was close to the airport and the shuttle service was good. However the room was dirty, dust everywhere, bogies wiped on the wall near the bed. Towel has makeup stains on it. The toilet flush is too high to water sprays out of the bowl all over the bathroom floor and the toilet seat.

Lovely decorating. Warm welcome at reception Room was lovely,comfortable, cosy. Love the retro phone. Only thing, the surfaces were quite dusty Showerr water didnt drain away very well, worried it would flood over on to the floor Otherwise lovely stay. Comfy bed. Thank you

The parking was great and check in was quick. The rooms are very dark and 2 lightbulbs were blown so we couldn’t do much about the darkness! It was also a little grubby and run down feeling. The floor in the bathroom wasn’t very clean and the shower flooded. Wouldn’t stay again but it was relatively cheap.

A nice enough place for a night stop ahead of a flight the next day. The rooms were spacious, although far too hot and the air con turned itself off so.we woke up boiling. Lots of noisy door banging was not great for sleep. Whilst this is largely the fault of rude customers, there are quieter door options available to hotels to mitigate this.

Great room and hotel! Only glitch which wasn’t tragic just annoying. Rooms are designed to be dark and sexy I think. But at 0300am when packing to catch your flight. Even with all the lights on, it’s difficult to look around the room to make sure we had everything!

Great place to stay for an early airport journey and an easy shuttle to take. The air con was hard to operate and the windows did not open so that was a hit harder in our room. The dining area could use an update on their bar stools as quite a few were in need of repair. Regardless, it was a lovely stay and I would do it again!

Friendly and efficient front desk team. Room was nice overall but had to reset thermostat as there was no cool air. Then just after 7 am heard employees and guests in corridor which was quite noisy for so early on a Saturday. Breakfast was good but no staff assistance there really.

Comfy bed, friendly staff, very close to the airport. Great if you are a plane spotter. Blackout blinds and soundproof windows. On the down side there’s some kind of whistling noise (1st floor) that sounds a bit like a wind tunnel. Couldn’t figure out where it was coming from (bathroom vents?) but loud enough to wake you up - so ear plugs are suggested.

On check in. Could not find booking. Was told there was an error with booking even though I had bookint reference and prepaid. Was given incorrect room. Had booked a runway view room with 2 single beds and received a double bed without view (even though paid extra for this)

On the way to my room the hallway was dark and dingy and my suitcase wheels got stuck on a ledge that sticks out of the floor. This caused me to fall and injure my knee. When I reported this to the front desk the next morning I got no response. I advise all American visitors to avoid this property because it doesn’t meet Radison hotel standards as we know it in America.

Second time staying here but we wouldn’t return. No issues with check in and check out but the room is very dark, and front desk staff need work on customer service. 24 hour room service should not be advertised - it should state 24 hour FOOD service because they do not deliver to your room. You have to order it and then wait for a call to go downstairs and pick it up. Communication is lacking to customers on how the restaurant works. People sit and wait until they realize nobody comes to your table. You have to order each item and drink from the bar and pay for it each time. We ended up doing about 6 transactions on our card in one night. Room was clean but not the room I asked for. It had 2 twin beds instead of a king. Combined with the fact that our airport shuttle told my husband he would not wait for me to get back from the washroom in the lobby, making us miss our transportation, did not make for a great stay. Front desk staff did not seem interested in my overall experience upon checkout.

The property was perfect for my overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and dinner delicious. Special note: Please advertise that there is a shuttle to and from the airport for £5 each way. I was annoyed that I paid a cab £23 one way from Gatwick to the hotel which is NOT 0.96 miles from the airport as listed on your site.

When booking, the images gave the impression that the hotel is part of the airport campus. Sadly this is misleading because it is NOT and it’s necessary to take a short bus ride (which costs £5 per person per journey) or a taxi. The money spent on transport would be better spent on paying a little more for an on campus hotel. There is only one restaurant and it’s more like a gastro pub. Very limited menu with poor options for those who have to avoid gluten. The staff are pleasant but there are too few of them and this makes it impossible to provide good service. There was a long wait for the food. All in all it wasn’t a good experience and we will never stay there again

It’s a misnomer that it is at Gatwick airport. It is very far from Gatwick airport and can only get there by taxi which is 25 pounds and the airport transfer has to be arranged at 5 pounds. It’s on an expressway so no way to walk. The BLOC hotel is at Gatwick.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I was just staying over between flights, and had a great sleep and a very nice breakfast. Starbucks franchise is available at the bar too which was great. My only minor dislikes were that the bathroom was so compact there was nowhere to put my toothbrush (not exactly a life altering problem!!) The lighting in the room was also not good, the mirror in the bathroom was backlit but provided almost no additional light, and the light in the hallway area in front of the mirror was a spotlight, basically meaning getting adequate light to put on makeup was impossible. Again, not exactly a major problem, just that I'd expect slightly better design from the Radisson brand. Overall, a very comfortable and quiet hotel with good links to the airport.

No room service so click and collect option taken up. Informed no sandwiches served after 6pm. On collection i was presented with an enormous tray and then had to navigate a lift and 3 pull doors opening towards me with no help. Nearly dropped the lot. Loud alarm went off at 1am for a minute. Then stopped. No explanation offered. Sleepless night ensued after that. Nothing special about this hotel and it is 5 miles from South terminal. Bus service to airport was efficient

Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Food in the evening was not described correctly, ordered steak and onion baguette got slice of meat not steak. Breakfast was mayhem no food was available at times very disappointed in this. Spoilt our stay.

Room is okay size, comfortable bed, small bathroom with nowhere to put anything. Had breakfast which was TERRIBLE! All the cooked food was stone cold, poor quality produce, unclean cutlery & sticky table - yuk…all for £16. AVOID BREAKFAST, it is truly hideous.
