Hotel was within walkable distance of the town centre. Staff friendly and food good. Bed very comfortable. There is a sky bar but this is just a bar on the top floor with a view over the river. It has a limited selection of drinks - there is a greater selection of drinks in the bar attached to the restaurant downstairs. Although the spa and pool are open every day, the pool is closed to residents for classes at certain times. Also while we stayed there, our room was not serviced. Probably just an oversight. As we were only staying 2 nights, it didn’t matter but had I been staying longer it would have been a problem

Nous sommes arrivés le jour où il y avait un congrès. Nous avons été très bien reçu, comme tout grand hôtel qui se respecte. La chambre est grande et spacieuse. Le site est magnifique avec un petit parc à côté. Le petit déjeuner est royal, digne des meilleurs brunchs. Le service est top et le personnel est accueillant et chaleureux. La piscine jacuzzi Hammam est un vrai plus. Vraiment l’hôtel est magnifique. Le seul bémol est le parking trop chère pour Liège. Pour les voitures électriques, ne pensez pas charger sur place, le système est honteux. En plus de payer le parking le plus cher (15 euros par jour), vous payez la place où vous charger 4 cts/ min soit 2€40/h (compatible Freshmile en sus au Kw). La recharge m’a coûté 7€, la place, 7€ ( je me suis levé à 5h pour débrancher la voiture), le parking 15€, ce qui est prohibitif pour une nuit de stationnement.

Excellent hotel, good rooms. Only weird thing is had to ask them to turn off loud corridor music which they quickly did. Spa was great except hot tub was cold. Sauna in good working order

Je trouve malheureux et dommage que l'hôtel fasse payé le parking à 19,20€ aux clients de l'hôtel, c'est trop cher et c'est dommage qu'il le fasse payé aux clients de l'hôtel. Les chambres ne sont pas faites tout les jours, il faut faire une demande en mettant la pancarte, pour un hôtel 4 étroite c'est limite. Les bouteilles d'eau ne sont pas rationné tout le temps, pour un hôtel 4 étoiles c'est limite.

Comfortable and clean room - we had a treble room which is basically a suite with whirlpool bath & kitchenette. Plenty of space in the room. As with most hotels wardrobe & storage space is limited for longer stays. We were there for a week. The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional even when the bar area was crowded. Reception staff were also helpful & quickly resolved a slight issue checking out. A nice location next to the river and park near by. Surprised to see rabbits roaming around the grounds. I would stay again.

Quand je vais à Liège je choisis très souvent cet hôtel. il est vrai qu'il est plus éloigné du centre (une vingtaine de minutes à pied ) mais les chambres sont magnifiques, grandes, claires, bien équipées, confortables et toujours d'une propreté impeccable. Le seul bémol cette fois ci, c'était quz la machine à café ne fonctionnait pas. Et c'est un des critères de choix de cet hôtel, pouvoir boire un café Nespresso dès le réveil.

Quand je vais à Liège je choisis très souvent cet hôtel. il est vrai qu'il est plus éloigné du centre (une vingtaine de minutes à pied ) mais les chambres sont magnifiques, grandes, claires, bien équipées, confortables et toujours d'une propreté impeccable. Van der Valk upgraded my standard room on day one without asking only to downgrade me and switch my rooms for day two after I came to complain about my room key not working because “I didn’t pay for an executive room for the second day”. This experience completely ruined my mood and the staff missed out on an opportunity to address my complaint in an adequate manner.

Hotel was within walkable distance of the town centre. Staff friendly and food good. Bed very comfortable. There is a sky bar but this is just a bar on the top floor with a view over the river. It has a limited selection of drinks - there is a greater selection of drinks in the bar attached to the restaurant downstairs. Although the spa and pool are open every day, the pool is closed to residents for classes at certain times. Also while we stayed there, our room was not serviced. Probably just an oversight. As we were only staying 2 nights, it didn’t matter but had I been staying longer it would have been a problem

It was on the whole very good with convenient restaurants, pool, spa. Breakfast is however vastly overpriced so we opted out which causes inconvenience in an otherwise restful stay. We opted for a riverview but you have to go over to the window to see it- wished I hadnt paid extra!

Room was clean and nice location for walking along the river and in to old town. Confirmed during check in that AC was operational as it is very hot this week. Told it was to then find out the restrict your ability to use it. Room would not go below 18 and it was warm, stuffy and sticky in there so not an enjoyable stay. Staff assistance was requested with no solution or override of system provided. Not impressed and would not stay again in warm weather.
