This location was very comfortable, spacious and had lots of details! The hot tubs were nice along with the robe and slippers that were provided. The free hot chocolate/coffee was a nice touch and the breakfast was really good! I would stay here again.

We loved this hotel. There are 2 hot tubs outside which were very enjoyable on a cold day. The room is simple but clean. Breakfast is served in the cabin next to the hotel and it was very good. There aren’t many restaurants around the area so make a reservation at Mika- that may have been the best meal we had in Iceland. They make their own chocolate so get the best chocolate cake you’ve ever had.

WiFi wasn't very good No air con in the room so we had to leave the window open and got bitten by the flies that got in Shower only had a curtain so the bathroom gets soaked after using it.

Beautiful hotel with outdoor hot tubs. Room very nice,clean. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Walkable to convenient store,restaurants. Close too waterfalls, geyser, crator and hot spring. We had amazing stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

on a adoré cet établissement à Reykholt. L’hôtel est récent et les chambres sont magnifiques. Les spas en extérieur sont très appréciables après une journée de visite et le petit déjeuner est excellent. Aucun problème pour se garer, entrée autonome avec néanmoins une réception disponible en cas de soucis et bon restaurant juste de l’autre côté de la route. Bref rien à redire, nous conseillons pleinement cet hôtel.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was directly on our route, so it was very convenient. It was also located next to Fridheimar tomato greenhouses and restaurants. We weren't able to get reservations in the greenhouse, but we did go to the wine bar and have the tomato soup for dinner. Very nice & convenient! The room was spacious, though a bit dated. It had a fan in it which was great as we stayed in the summer. The breakfast was very nice as well. We would stay here again.

Schön gelegenes Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr modern. Die Hot Tubes haben der Entspannung beigetragen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, könnte qualitativ aber besser sein und Warmhaltebehälter haben. Die Aussicht war super schön.

This is a great place to stay in the Golden Circle. If you're lucky, you can see the northern lights from the parking lot! The staff was extremely helpful. In particular, Theresa spent time with us suggesting potential stops on our trip. We changed our trip based on her input and had an amazing time. Thank you!!

Loved this place. Easy self check-in. Nice hot tubs. The best breakfast we had in Iceland (shout out to whoever makes the scrambled eggs and pancakes). The staff was super nice and go out of their way to be helpful. Quick drive to the Geysir, waterfalls, and krater. Easy 30 min drive to Selfoss. Would totally recommend this place.

Absolutely wonderful! The gentleman at check-in was fantastic & ready to cater to our every need. The surrounding area was beautiful. The wine bar next store was superb. The breakfast buffet was awesome! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The only downside was that our room was really hot without any way to cool it down except for us to open a small window…& because we needed to keep the blackout curtains closed to sleep, there was no way to get air circulating through the room. Don’t let that keep you from coming here.

This hotel had all self checkin and while convenient and interesting, it would've been nice to have someone to ask tips for the area. The rooms and amenties were just a little dated and the shower curtain touched us due to how small it was and the water got all over our floor, but totally acceptable at this price point and place to sleep. We were very bummed to learn the hot tub hours upon our late arrival having not had dinner yet. We thought they were open for most of the night when we booked. Staff at Cafe Mika told us we had to walk around on the main road and driveway to get to the wine bar in the total dark when in reality there was a cut through just past the hotel, which we found when we left. Those little tips from hotel staff would've been key.

Good hotel. Nice helpful staff. It’s sort of central to sites within Golden Circle. A Petrol station with small store is just metres away. Hotel had a nice hot tub which was fun to use. They have a separate dining area with a microwave which they let you use…it does doesn’t come with a grill or oven though.

Loved this hotel because of how convenient it was to all the golden circle attractions. It is also right by Mika Restaurant (which was delicious) and the tomato farm. The lodge was cozy and breakfast was lovely.

The property is new and nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. The property has a nice hot tub and breakfast was nice. The parking lot filled up at night but we managed to find a spot. Besides a pizza restaurant closeby there are no restaurants you can walk to or drive to in less than 10mns. Don't keep your hopes up to see northern lights from this property, there are hot-houses a 150 yards away that are brightly lit day and night and will make the sky "glow". Some people even mistook them for northern lights, instead they were sodium lights for cucumber plants. A good hotel nonetheless.

While the place appears remote, it is well located to visit some of the best sites in the Golden Circle. The place was clean and comfortable, and served a nice breakfast each morning. Furthermore, there is a restaurant right across the street called Mika that had fantastic food.

This hotel is close to the attractions such as Gulfoss, Strokkur Geysir, Bruarfoss etc. There is no on-site restaurant so you have to dine at Restaurant Mika that is really close by but make sure you make reservation. There was hardly any interaction with the staff and the room was okay. The breakfast was good.

Loved this place. Easy self check-in. Nice hot tubs. The best breakfast we had in Iceland (shout out to whoever makes the scrambled eggs and pancakes). The staff was super nice and go out of their way to be helpful. Quick drive to the Geysir, waterfalls, and krater. Easy 30 min drive to Selfoss. Would totally recommend this place.

Great place to stay when visiting the sites on the Golden Circle. It was a bit noisy during peak times - the doors slam very easily. after a long day of hiking, we were a little.bummed that the hot tub was only like warm. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were amazing. Overall a great stay!

Lovely hotel. The rooms are nice and modern and clean. The hot tubs are the perfect temperature and the bath robes to wear out there are a nice touch. Breakfast is good (although when said that it is ready at 7:30 the hot food was not out until 8:15). You can purchase beverages (non alcoholic and alcoholic) and snacks from reception until 22:00 - this came in handy when the the mini market across the street closed at 6. The restaurant across the street is very good but I recommend a reservation in advance. Great location to the golden circle sights.

Everything was great, from hot tub, reception to room and breakfast. Only gripe was decking as we came out from breakfast. There had been an overnight frost which we were very aware of however I still nearly went flying.

We loved everything about this hotel. Very clean, large rooms, very quiet and all the amenities you would need. The hot tubs were a great bonus. And the breakfast was the best!

A very cute hotel with a very cosy and warm room! Only downside is there wasnt quite enough room to dry out our clothes after a day out in heavy rain but we still managed! We didn’t use the hot tub (we wanted to stay dry after the day we’d had!) but it seemed popular with other guests. Breakfast was good but more fruit would have been good!

Overall, very nice..the included buffet breakfast could be improved by adding some pastries and other options and a better coffee machine. Nice having a convenience store and gas next door as well as a very nice restaurant a short walk away (Mika’s).

The hotel was excellent. Room was great with a lovely big bathroom. Continental breakfast was perfect to set you up for the day. Not far from many of the main sites in the Golden circle. There is a fish and chips cafe on other side of the road which did delicous fish and chips. Would happily stay again!
