Beautiful nature, view from our room was breathtaking! It was a great decision to pick this hotel. Hotel has parking so it was very convenient with a car. Walked to Fussen for restaurants and shops. Breakfast was awesome, staff were friendly. We stayed one night and took the castle tours next morning. Nature and surrounding area is so beautiful. If we go back, will not look further and stay here again.

No bug screen on patio door Duvet only on bed (which is the norm these days) meaning no cover from such as a sheet and hence unable to leave patio door open to get cool air during the night, so bring a fan if you can like we did. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No restaurant (though plenty in town) and bar closes at 9pm

Great location near the park and walking trails. Close to old town with many sights and dinning options. Pet Friendly! Free Parking on site, though if there are many large vehicles, the spaces become tight or unusable. Great staff and facilities. Quiet and relaxing, would recommend and stay at again!

Lindo local, camas confortáveis, lençóis branquinhos, tudo bem limpo. O café da manhã bem servido, não tem tanta variedade mas tudo saboroso. A melhor parte do café é o cachorrinho mascote do hotel que encanta os hóspedes! A vista do quarto linda pras montanhas e não tanto distante do centrinho. Pelo valor, comparado a outros hotéis, indico!

The hotel is traditional inside with lots of cosy touches such as sheepskins on the seats. The room was super clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony into the park and towards the mountains was magnificent. There were lots of paths for walking and cycling and 2 lovely lakes nearby for swimming. A cute crazy golf course also on the doorstep. The breakfasts were super. Loads of variety. Bacon, eggs, cold meats and cheeses as well as a selection of cereals and breads including gluten free and dairy free. Staff were lovely,very kind, helpful and smiley. When we were late for breakfast the chef made us scrambled eggs specially. A great place to stay. Thank you to all the staff.

Accomodatie ligt gelegen in een mooi en rustig stuk met een park voor de deur. Prima loopafstand naar het centrum, -15 minuten, en ook een leuke route. Het ontbijbuffet werd netjes bijgevuld en schoongehouden.

Hotel Ruchti was very nice. We were only in town for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We had a balcony with an amzing view of the mountains and scenery. It is facing a very nice park with a quiet, peaceful setting. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. If I am ever in Germany again, I will definitely come again.

Hotel v nice, efficient staff, great breakfast and clean rooms. As 3G signal is poor in the area, WiFi should be better. Wifi is bitty and not up to par. If it is an off grid experience thou, this is a very nice place.

Phenomenal stay. When my brother decided to go on our trip after we had booked the property, they went ahead and moved us into a three person room instead of having to rent a cot. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the hotel room, and just natural beauty all around. Only gripe is the wifi had poor signal in my room, but not really necessary as I spent most of the time enjoying the surrounding area.

Read hotel elf on the forest side of town. Totally love to stay here again and enjoy the scenery, with a patio overlooking the fields of the mountains, etc. Only negative was that the room was warm without opening all the windows, and I have mosquitoes. Would love to have had a sin to at least move air around the room at night time.

Hotel was excellent, a small quaint hotel with a nice breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious for the normal room. The only thing to consider is the hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown area. If the weather is nice, it's fine. If you have a rental car, a great place to stay. if not, just understand the walk to the downtown area.

We really appreciated the staff who was very friendly & forthcoming of our late arrival. The location of the hotel was convenient and close to our destination for the next day. Breakfast was outstanding & plentiful. We especially appreciated the individual staff person who genuinely cared during our breakfast experience. Thank you greatly for your communication & making us feel very comfortable. The room & bathroom was very small, too close to the stairs on the 1st floor, with many other guest walking past our room - high traffuc & loud. The room itself was a bit outdated. Overall, not bad for a 1 night stay.

I arrived a little after 10pm and was not able to get my room key until the next morning when they opened up. Apparently they shut everything down at 9pm and this was not communicated to us. We traveled almost 15 hrs by train to get to this hotel and we were forced to sleep in the lounge because no one was there to give us a key. And then they charged us full price despite this horrible incident. This establishment has very poor policies for check-in and very bad communication skills. The lady at the front desk thought it was absolutely acceptable for us to sleep in the lounge area because no one was around to give us our key. It is now 2024 and almost all hotels have some form of electronic check-in so a guest is not forced to sleep outside or on the porch in the event they arrive late. Otherwise, it seems like a nice place, they mean well. They just are not up to date with the times and have really bad communication skills with their guests.

Mooi hotel, heerlijk goed verzorgd ontbijt. Uitstekende bedden. Jammer dat personeel niet echt gastvrij naar de gasten. Er is geen gelegenheid tot het nuttigen van een maaltijd. Diverse restaurants wel in de buurt. Maar in deze tijd vele gesloten. Niet op loopafstand. Gelukkig was de mac Donalds wel open. Na een lange dag rijden, vinden wij het prettig om gebruik te maken van een restaurant in het hotel. Prachtige omgeving. Rustig gelegen.

Beautiful nature, view from our room was breathtaking! It was a great decision to pick this hotel. Hotel has parking so it was very convenient with a car. Walked to Fussen for restaurants and shops. Breakfast was awesome, staff were friendly. We stayed one night and took the castle tours next morning. Nature and surrounding area is so beautiful. If we go back, will not look further and stay here again.

Hotel was excellent, a small quaint hotel with a nice breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious for the normal room. The only thing to consider is the hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown area. If the weather is nice, it's fine. If you have a rental car, a great place to stay. if not, just understand the walk to the downtown area.

Hotel Ruchti was very nice. We were only in town for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We had a balcony with an amzing view of the mountains and scenery. It is facing a very nice park with a quiet, peaceful setting. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. If I am ever in Germany again, I will definitely come again.

This hotel’s set in a little paradise, the staff were very helpful and offered a small menu for dinner and it was delicious. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either, a really great variety to choose from. Would highly recommend.

No bug screen on patio door Duvet only on bed (which is the norm these days) meaning no cover from such as a sheet and hence unable to leave patio door open to get cool air during the night, so bring a fan if you can like we did.
