This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is very close to the train station, so is convenient for travelers, and there are many restaurants within close walking distance. It's also a pleasant longer walk to the city center. The breakfast food was varied, plentiful, and delicious. Parking was a bit confusing. It's around the block on Joseph Junck street. There may be other places, but that's where I parked. It was a nice garage, just a bit far if you have to haul luggage.

Nice hotel. The problem is that there is underground work going on in the street and it is very difficult to access the entrance to the hotel. I was told it will last about a year before it is completed. Also, hard to find a place to park your car in order to check-in. Parking is a paid public parking about 2 blocks from the hotel. Easy access to Tram and public transportation which is free in Luxembourg. 2 blocks from the main train station.

This hotel was a nice price for what it is. Our car parking was free. But, is not right on sight, which didn’t bother us because we didn’t plan to drive much once we were in Luxembourg city. Its location is not right in the heart of all the sights. But, it is a fifteen minute walk, or, even better, across the street from central station. Super easy to hop on the train and get to the main attractions in about 10 min. The breakfast buffet that came with our room was better than expected. There were so many options. Even having breakfast there 3 mornings we felt like we never tired of it. They did change things up a little each morning. My husband especially loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. The bed was comfortable. Pillow was comfortable. Maybe our only complaint, the first night, was a lot of noise in the night from drunks hanging around the train station. There was also a weird noise in the ceiling (we were on the 3rd floor), that woke us up the first night. So, the next 2 nights there, we just put on some white noise music and put in ear plugs and it was fine. All in all, it was a great hotel for the money, and very convenient to see Luxembourg City and also easy to hop on a bus or train for day trips to other cities. The public transport is free. So, it is a great home base hotel.

Location is faultless more ir less across from the train station thus arrival from airport on bus no problems. Comfy beds and good showers. Only one lift snd six floors oops. The waiting time at some times can be a bit long. Excellent breakfast faultless.

This was my first trip to Luxembourg City, and the hotel was perfectly located for me, just 5 minutes walk from the main railway station. My room (58) was massive and felt more like a furnished suite. The bed was fine, and everything worked as it should. The LG TV set up was initially clunky, needing two remotes. However once you get it working it was OK. I didn’t spot the fridge initially as it was hidden in the wardrobe rather than visible. The breakfast room was functional, and the choice at breakfast excellent. If I was returning to Luxembourg, I’d happily rebook.

We had a corner room and it was really big, had a king size bed and another areas with sofa and tv. Bed was very comfy and the shower was very powerful. 5 mins from train station and 15 mins walk to the beautiful old town. great location we used the bad drop facilities and everything was great. No issues. Initially it didn't look as fancy as some of our hotels but it was a great surprise.

I will definitely choose City Hotel for my next visit to Luxembourg. It offers everything a solo traveler could want: clean, quiet rooms with ample storage space and a lovely bathroom, plus a comfortable bed and satisfying breakfast. The individual, a gentleman with a deep french accent and glasses was not customer friendly. Very cryptic in his responses and did not volunteer any information. We felt like we were bothering him and he was too busy to help us. This applied both to check in and check out. Most specifically as an example, we had to ask for details to utilize the parking garage, which was a fairly complex process. He did not volunteer this information to us even though we paid for parking. The other front desk attendants were very good.

Property nice and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. The area around is rough. Many homeless, drug addicted and as you walk out of the elevator from the parking lot, stinks badly and junkies all over the place. But it’s very close to the nice part of town.

The surroundings and the area of the hotel are horrible. It's dangerous and there are streets fights going on every day. At night shady people stand at the corner of the streets for hours, looking out for some kind of shady business.. It does not feel safe walking to your car through these street with your luggage.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum der Stadt. Zu Fuß dauert es 15-20 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum. Wir fanden die Lage super. Auch den Flughafen erreicht man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in ca. 20 Minuten. Wir hatten ein sauberes und sehr geräumiges Zimmer, welches zum Innenhof lag und sehr ruhig war. Das Frühstück hat eine tolle und leckere Auswahl (z.B. frisch gepressten Orangensaft, Rührei, verschiedenes Obst, etc.). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
