On entering the foyer it smelt lovely in fact the whole place did, not off putting like some. Only downside, was the warmth of the room, couldnt cool it down even with a fan on but that wouldnt stop us from staying here again. Nice area even had shops and a Wetherspoons next door

The rooms are large and clean,BUT way to hot, with temperature over 30 a small didnt really help. The windows is on a lock and only opens a couple inch they need to be able to open wider to allow fresh air in. We had no sleep and was up and out at 5am.

Hard to locate the hotel, too many signs for Lidle, Waitrose, etc. Tiny room, but that was ok, just staying 1 night. No drawers, cupboards. Baking hot in the room, no air con. Curtains failed to keep out the light. Guy on reception friendly and helpful. As a 1 night stopover it was sort of ok but no way we would ever stay for 2 days or more.

Great greeting, easy check in, friendly staff, room clean. Location great for the centre, has lift, breakfast at Wetherspoon if you fancy carpark very busy as shared with shops, windows not great sound proofing overall would recommend for couple of nights stay.

It was very convenient to have a couple of restaurants very close by plus Waitrose and Lidl and Wetherspoons. The hotel bedroom windows need a thorough clean inside and out but apart from that it was very nice.

This hotel is just a place to put your head down for the night, it has no frills, no pictures on the wall and a small TV. It was clean enough, right above Lidl and there is a Weatherspoons only a very short walk which serves breakfast from 8am. Would i stay there again? No i would try and find somewhere with a little comfort

For a budget hotel it was priced at over £100 for a nights stay, so I expected more than budget, staff not interested in much, tv not worth being there it’s so small, I’ve seen bigger prison cells. Don’t get the breakfast, it’s the biggest waste of money. Stale food in a bag for £7. Not even a hot drink

Had a job to find the place at 11 p.m. as there were no lights showing. However, given a warm welcome and the room with a view in a quiet spot which we requested was duly ready for us. Being a budget hotel the room was minimal in terms of furniture but the bed was fine and the bathroom and shower excellent. All spotlessly clean. We had not spotted a dining area on our way to the bedroom and in the morning we found out why. Breakfast was presented to us in a couple of paper bags. This came as a surprise, perhaps it shouldn't have. However we returned to our room and found the contents of the bags to be pretty good. Since the hotel is right above Lidl's, extra provisions would be easy to get. Parking is simple and free. Use Lidl's huge car park but remember to leave your reg no. with the Ibis desk. Waitrose, for those seeking posher fare, is a mere 150m away. We chose this 'hotel' in part due to a reasonable price and also because of the venue. It meant we could go for a nice stroll along the marina in the morning.

Great location with plenty of bars restaurants to choose from. Building needs updating as doesn’t look great externally. Rooms are just about ok but unless top floor you do get noise if people move around above you. Breakfast not offered apart from takeaway bag but Wetherspoons next door.

Have used this hotel on many occasions. We visit a friend on the Marina. Parking is on a Lidl car park and you register the no plate at the hotel. Breakfast can be obtained at Waitrose or an adjacent cafe. There is a handy bus for trips to Bristol.

A good clean room, overlooking Portishead Marina. Parking is in the Lidl car park close by. Not easy to park in Portishead! Breakfast can be obtained in adjacent cafes (Posset) and Botellino's opposite is a friendly italian restaurant offering a discount.

First time here. Parking is in a public car park adjacent. Plenty of places to eat. Friendly helpful staff. I personally wouldn’t book the breakfast bag next time.
