The hotel is very nice. What makes this hotel nice The staff are friendly, helpful and polite, They would do anything for you. The room was amazing, spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy, Room service is available and at a reasonable price. The restaurant at the bottom and at the roof top had a good selection of food and cocktails.The price were reasonable.A life DJ plays some cool tunes at breakfast, not to loud, just perfect. The gym and the roof top swimming pool were a bonus. The gym was cleaned with a descent amount of equipment to use. A cool bath tub was available.. The roof top offered a relaxing atmosphere with a live DJ - the music is not loud and relaxing. Surfing lessons are available to be booked from the hotel. The beach is situated across the hotel. Nice and clean. The sea was warm but no clear sea. The only thing I didn’t like My room was 525, underneath the roof top swimming pool. The pool is opened from 7 am till 11pm. The room was not soundproof enough. I was offered another room on a lower floor but I was already unpacked. No balconet but a fabulous AC. Outside the hotel was quite dirty and the pavement was slippery. Crossing the road was a challenge with lots of mopeds. . Overall an amazing hotel. Would recommend.

Our family spent 5 wonderful nights at this hotel. A boutique hotel with a nice vibe and the surroundings are wonderful, pool is amazing on the rooftop great views of the beach and plenty of seating around the pool, nice bar and restaurant area, both rooftop and ground floor, food was delicious. The well staff were very friendly and helpful- special thanks to Trish and Dewi who looked after us with smiles and kindness and greeted us every morning for our delicious breakfast. Awesome to be located opposite the beach too. Our 2 bedroom apartment was so nice, decor was cool, our beds were very comfortable..We will be back to stay. Thank you Mamaka 🙏😊

1. Music was too loud. Also until I nade a complainant you shouldn't have music in corridors playing before 7am. People are trying to sleep. 2. Food is inconsistent and not very good. Couldn't even get some decent toast. They would give you bread chargrilled. 3. Hotel run out of juices while we were there for two days. 4. Poolarea has many lifted tiles 5. Some staff need to speak english better. 6. Sheets in room need changing i slept in my all week. 7. One lift was only working. It took for ever to get from floor to floor. Staff must not use lift. 8. Air conditioning in room has a mind of it's own. Woukd turn off and turn on, 9. Must do areas of non smoking. 10. Food needs improving and more variety. 11. Considering pool area was not that busy, i always had to get up to go and irder food or drinks. Would not stay here again

Location is excellent for renting a surf board across the street at the beach, or even take lessons from the onsite RipCurl surf school. My room was well furnished, clean, modern with WIFI and international cable channels. Walking distance to anything and anywhere of significance in the Kuta area. The hotel gym is adequately equipped, as well as free clothes washing and drying facilities. They even supply the washing powder! The level one restaurant is great for both breakfast and dinner, as well as the rooftop bar and pool make for a fantastic experience. Nightly bands for a few hours can be a bit loud but I really enjoyed the tunes. Would definitely recommend!

Äußerst freundliches Personal, tolle Bar. Einrichtung ist leider schon ziemlich heruntergekommen. Die Zimmer sind verwohnt, und im Pool löst sich blaue Farbe. Lovely, vibes hotel with an awesome pool area and the Kuta Social club on the rooftop is amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful and the hotel has everything you need. One awesome perk is the kitchen and bar downstairs is open 24hrs.

Great spot and customer service. Very nice rooftop area with pool, restaurant / bar. We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was so great and took care of our every need. The Breakfast was outstanding. The rooftop pool and lounge had beautiful views. We definitely will be back.

View from rooftop is great. Staffs are very nice and accomodating. Location of property is central and right in front of beach. However property should not be consider 4 stars. Room smells foul due to humidity. Beds make sounds and not sturdy. Pillows smells. Bathroom tiles, grouts, tapware, glass are not cleaned, yellowed.and calcium stains. Bathroom towels frayed. Hallway at level 3 stinks like toilet. No hair dryer unless requested.

Lovely property/room, uber comfy beds and very clean room. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great facilities and loved the rooftop bar/pool. Great location in Kuta for walking around street stalls and the mall, and right across from the beach. Would give 4.5 stars if we could as the only downfall for us was the noise that made it into the room from outside (rooftop bars/restaurants/street and from the hallway). I absolutely recommend (just bring airplugs if you are an early/light sleeper).

Great restaurants on site. Food is delish. View is amazing! Pool has a great view. Walkable to shopping and across from the beach. Rooms are ok, the towels however are threadbare and quite gross. I wouldn't stay here unless you are happy to hear the music upstairs and part goers in the halls.

Overall good. The coffee port was not working well. Electricity was not enough. At midnight there is a fireworks and the sound is very high to bother main bedroom. Main bed room contain has to be closed at night since there is very large advertisement display just in front of the room otherwise you cannot sleep because of the light.

We had an excellent stay in a Swagger Suite for four nights. Really worth paying for the upgrade. The suites are located at the front of the property. We started in 305 which wasn’t great because you have no view (just a roof) then they moved us to 503. Wow wow wow. The view is stunning. The room is gorgeous. The only downfall for the front rooms is the noise. There was cleaning up with a dozer out the front that started at 1am and went through until 7am. This is the second stay at this hotel in a matter of a couple of months. The pool and roof top bar and restaurant is great. Awesome vibe. Really enjoyed Okky DJ music. The staff are really helpful. Big shout out to Geeta the front office manager. We had a few hiccups and she stepped in and sorted everything out with no problems. This place is the perfect location just across the the road from the beach. Convenience store is right next door. Easy to get a Blue Bird. There is something that I would like to see happen. The menu in both down stairs and upstairs is not fantastic. I am not a fussy eater by any means (don’t do eggs, lamb or pork but that’s about it) The menu is not accomodating to normal eaters. The chefs will not change anything either ( especially pizzas) Breakfast is mainly eggs in everything, only beef bacon. And then some odd dishes us aussies would say. Please add some normal food to the menu. To end off the coffee is good. We will be back in a few months again and hope to stay here again. Thank you Mamaka

Comfortable and clean rooms. We had a room on 5th floor. It must be said that the upper rooms are very loud as you hear the music from the own and neighbor's rooftop very clearly until midnight but we personally haven't been bothered by that as we didn't went to bed earlier than that and we liked the party atmosphere. The rooftop is very cozy and chill. Very nicely arranged, as well as the pool area. Breakfast is delicious and we loved the "sour" welcome drink. Best drink of our entire 3-weeks Bali vacation. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooftop is very cozy and chill. Very nicely arranged, as well as the pool area. Breakfast is delicious and we loved the "sour" welcome drink. Best drink of our entire 3-weeks Bali vacation. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel and staff. However there was an event on when I stayed which kept me awake both nights I stayed. Loud music from the top floor which vibrated my room. Loud enough to sing along to the songs that were playing. Came away from my stay exhausted.

Lovely property/room, uber comfy beds and very clean room. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great facilities and loved the rooftop bar/pool. Great location in Kuta for walking around street stalls and the mall, and right across from the beach. Would give 4.5 stars if we could as the only downfall for us was the noise that made it into the room from outside (rooftop bars/restaurants/street and from the hallway). I absolutely recommend (just bring airplugs if you are an early/light sleeper).

Not often I don’t want to leave, but this is one of those times. Stellar location on Kuta beach, caring and happy staff, good food options onsite, pool and rooftop are amazing, the gym is very nice and the vibe is really good. Rooms (we stayed in a couple of Queen rooms) are very clean and serviceable (hopefully one is not spending too much time inside in Bali!) bathrooms are small side for us Americans, but no complaints. The service staff work overtime to keep things neat and clean. Always with a happy smile. Restaurant staff, especially on 1st/2nd floor restaurant were superior. Special thanks to Bima, Ersa, Citra, Birdie, among many others…💗 My smile-o-meter readings were off the charts! ;) Overall, one of the best values I have ever seen. My partner, her friend and I really, really, really enjoyed our stay…thank you Mamaka! We will be back…✌💗🙏

Wir hatten das Hotel gebucht, dank den guten Bewertungen. Allerdings war es nicht recht berauschend… Das Personal war recht unterschiedlich. Einmal sagten sie „Hallo“ und „Guten Morgen“, mal war ihr Handy wichtiger. Das Zimmer ist recht schön ausgestattet und das Bett sehr bequem. Was uns gleich auffiel… die laute Musik. Und das ging den ganzen Tag lang so. Den Garten, den wir mit gebucht hatten, konnte man eigentlich nicht nutzen. Er war frei zugänglich. Laut den Bilder dachte ich, dieser wäre privat. Schlafqualität war eher schlecht, da wie gesagt die Musik so laut hörbar war. Ich verstehe den Sinn dahinter nicht!? Zudem sind die Wände so dünn, dass man seine Nachbarn hörte. Des Weiteren hörte man die Waschmaschinen und Trockner, diese liefen rund um die Uhr. Das inkludierte Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Man konnte sich eine Speise, einen Kaffee oder Tee und Wasser oder Melonensaft aussuchen…. Wow! Zum Feiern ist das Hotel ok, aber für einen echten Urlaub, empfehle ich es nicht.

there are many nice hotels in the area however you will never find a hotel with nicer more caring friendly people than the people working here they make every involvement a five-star experience my congratulations to whoever has trained in the staff I found them to be the best of any hotel I've ever visited in the world

This was our second time at the Mamaka. Our first experience was great so we thought we would stay again. This time was absolutely sub par. The service was average at best, and the food quality was far less than last visit. We had decided to do the free flow oysters at the roof top patio - all you can eat for 60 minutes. Well... heres the catch, the oysters are supposed to be free flow but they bring 5 oysters at a time and take 20-25 minutes to arrive. The servers took their sweet time coming to check on our table and when we had ordered our second round of oysters they decided to send a second waitress to our table who came back to say our time was up and they wanted to bill us for additional oysters - even though we had paid for free flow which was four times the price of what they had brought to us. After speaking with the manager they had decided to try and blame us for multiple staff coming by to take our orders abd saying that our time was up as the 60 mins had past. Thankfully, we had time-stamped photos to verify that they were incorrect abd that we were indeed still within the timeframe.We will not be back again - the staff after we had spoke to the manager never came back to check on us for the next 45 minutes until we went to the front to request our bill. So sad that a hotel that had left such a good memory for us the first time has flopped so bad and I would recommend anyone coming to Bali and the Kuta area to avoid this hotel like their life depended on it.

Our family spent 5 wonderful nights at this hotel. A boutique hotel with a nice vibe and the surroundings are wonderful, pool is amazing on the rooftop great views of the beach and plenty of seating around the pool, nice bar and restaurant area, both rooftop and ground floor, food was delicious. The well staff were very friendly and helpful- special thanks to Trish and Dewi who looked after us with smiles and kindness and greeted us every morning for our delicious breakfast. Awesome to be located opposite the beach too. Our 2 bedroom apartment was so nice, decor was cool, our beds were very comfortable..We will be back to stay. Thank you Mamaka 🙏😊

Location is excellent for renting a surf board across the street at the beach, or even take lessons from the onsite RipCurl surf school. My room was well furnished, clean, modern with WIFI and international cable channels. Walking distance to anything and anywhere of significance in the Kuta area. The hotel gym is adequately equipped, as well as free clothes washing and drying facilities. They even supply the washing powder! The level one restaurant is great for both breakfast and dinner, as well as the rooftop bar and pool make for a fantastic experience. Nightly bands for a few hours can be a bit loud but I really enjoyed the tunes. Would definitely recommend!

This is a modern beach front hotel with beautiful sea views and roof top pool. ( it was very clean and well maintained) Staff were friendly. Double service to rooms to check if all was ok each day. The laundry facilities were good . Breakfast was good but not buffet , off there bar menu, you had i juice and coffee/tea with your breakfast. We had garden view room, and would not book again, small area and over looked. Rooms were nice ! But ours a bit dark inside and no full length mirror or wall mirror in ours to do hair and make-up . Not sure if they are all the same though. ,Dj in hotel was great played through out the day. Massage at hotel was good and matched prices around our hotel. Overall a lovely place to be...

I have stayed here before two years back and they put me on the 5th floor i made a complaint the last time about the noise from the roof top bar (the floor above me) starts from 6-11pm loud music and chairs being dragged across the floor. I stayed hotel for 5 days and had little sleep! Make sure they don’t give any room on level 5!
I have stayed here before two years back and they put me on the 5th floor i made a complaint the last time about the noise from the roof top bar (the floor above me) starts from 6-11pm loud music and chairs being dragged across the floor. The stay was amazing for the 2 weeks we were there. The rooms were kept in tip top conditions and the bar and kitchen was filled with amazing food and drinks There was only 2 instances where our food order was forgotten and ended up taking an extra hour longer and the massage mysteriously lost our booking. Overall, as a stay near the beaches and next to all the shopping centres its a treat.

I got ill during my stay. Sean, the manager, sent someone to buy medicine and deliver it to my room. That goes beyond customer service to human kindness.
