Good location, quiet. Laundry services were included with detergent making a good stop to get regrouped for your journey while still being convenient for shopping. Was initially confusing to checkin (make sure you complete registration ahead of time), but once you have the checkin link it is convenient to get access to outer door and to room.

Amazing, high tech hotel close to main shopping, tourist and station locations. Everything was clean and great facilities and inclusions - which included free yoga sessions, laundry room and gym! Loved our stay and would definitely come back.

I liked the idea of giving the instant film camera to the guests the whole trip, also with the postcards and bag you can take away that was really heartwarming. I also liked the self check in, that provided lots of privacy. Facilities wise they have a washing machine, also the gym place. They also have instant reply on WhatsApp, so you don't need to worry that no one helps you even they don't have a counter. Good location, remarkable experience with the camera, good job!

Super convenient location but the gym is 30 minutes away... There is construction ongoing and our drain was clogged with previous guests hair in the drain. Having access to a washer and dryer (with tablets provided) was a bonus (but only 1 washer and 1 dryer so it was a struggle to get a spot). App works well to open door/luggage. Room was quite spacious (awful view though) and was nice it had a kettle/fridge

The hotel is like apartment living. Check in/out is online with no staff on the property. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The property had washer/dryer, luggage storage room for early/late check in or check out. The most impressive thing was the communication with staff via WhatsApp. They checked in daily if I needed anything, were very responsive if I had questions and were delightful to deal with. The room had many thoughtful touches, such as universal phone/ipad charger cable, an instant camera with film for use during the stay, coffee/tea etc. I’d stay there or at any other BoB property again.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. This hotel has no reception but they give you all the information you need on WhatsApp. It was easy to check in and get into the hotel. My room was spotless and even had a welcome note. The free plunger coffee and tea was lovely too. Also there is a gym nearby that you can use it for free. The wifi was quick and there is a fridge in the room. The location is great just 5 minutes from Oslo Station.

Excellent. Chambre très propre, moderne et bien équipée. Buanderie disponible gratuitement. Bien situé au cœur de la ville. Lors de notre passage il y avait des travaux dans la rue, mais nous n’avons pas été incommodé. Seul bémol, notre chambre était situé au rez-de-chaussée et la fenêtre donnait dans la ruelle où se trouve les bacs de poubelles et de recyclage. C’était un peu bruyant et sombre. Très bon hôtel, je recommande.

It was certainly clean, comfortable and very well located. Odd that it had a good sized refrigerator but not a microwave oven. It was absolutely wonderful that there was a washing machine and dryer for no charge that even had laundry detergent to use.

Excellent stay in all respects, cleanliness, amenities including use of washer/dryer, thoughtful items left in room such as shopping bag and water bottles, ease of use of door entry and communications via app. We will definitely stay at Bob W properties again

BOB-W has amazing location in Oslo - right next to the happening street of Karl Johans gate. Everything is at walking distance from this place. The room was clean and the beds were made for 4 people as mentioned in our booking. It was very thoughtful to keep a few chocolates and also coffee for the guests. One minor issue was that the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The shower area was perfect and the toiletries kept were of high quality. The check-in experience was seamless. Only one downside is that there is no parking, and the parking costs a lot in this area (We found one open air parking about 400-500 m from the hotel for 200 kroner per night)

Room is very clean and spacious for two people. Well equipped with toiletries etc, useful to have power sockets on both sides of the bed. We didn't choose breakfast, but note that breakfast is a voucher to use at nearby cafe. Comfy bed. I would stay here again.

Die Ausstattung war perfekt mit Tee, Kaffee, Snack, Besteck, Wasserkocher im Zimmer und diversen Utensilien in Bad. Die Lage: insgesamt ruhige Straße (abgesehen von Bauarbeiten gegenüber). Um die Ecke nur zu " KÖ" Oslos und 300 m zum Bahnhof. Das Personal sehr freundlich, verständisvoll, hilfsbereit. Nicht so gut: in meiner Ankunftsnacht war niemand erreichbar, auch telefonisch nicht. Ich hätte Schwierigkeiten in mein Zimmer zu kommen, da mein Smartphone streikte... Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer wurde immer heißer, war also kaputt zudem mit Schimmel innen. Summa summarum: ich würde wieder dieses Hotel buchen, war sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. The floor in the shower was dirty. There wasnt enough lighting in the bedroom. Unde thbeds was dusty. No milk for tea and coffee. The front door mat was inadiquate and the floor w as so wet

Quiet (despite construction nearby) with the windows closed. However, no A/C and no screens on the windows, so you have a choice between roasting or flies (and construction noise) in the Summer. I was told by their customer service when I booked that laundry was in-suite. It wasn't. There was one small (and slow) condo size washer-dryer for the whole building, and you have to sign up for a time slot to use it. There is a free luggage drop, but it is just a room that any guest can access, not individual locked spaces. The entry system works well but requires continuous use of your cell phone, so you can't ever leave it in the room, and you have to make sure it doesn't run out of charge.

Very nice room and bathroom, very clean. The only downside was the room was on the top floor, just below the roof and it was hot day and night. A fan or AC would be a good idea to bear the heat in summer.

Our room was stuffy & hot and the a/c wasn’t working. We had to open the windows and plug the electric fan that was in the closet. Even that was blowing hot air. The shower has very limited hot water. There’s 4 of us and as soon as one of us showered, the hot water was gone for hours. Glad we only had one night stay there. Otherwise, we don’t know if we could stand another day of heat in the room & freezing in the shower. Disappointed, but thankful it’s just one night.

Great concept pretty much self checkin and checkout. Although there was a note in my room notifying me that there is construction next door the sledgehammer sound going all the way into friday night was quite loud and uncomfortable. Unsure when that construction is done but it is certainly not quiet due to next door construction amd downtown bypasser sound and tram.

The best thing about the hotel is the location that is very centre with easy access to everything. The major downside is the hot water supply. As a family of 3 people, the hot water can only be enough for one person so we have to take turns to have shower. The waiting time in between people is more than an hour. This is really rare in a commercial accommodation property.

Pros: the room is super clean and tidy, equipped with all essentials, location is great, easier to access (although the front door keypad doesn't always work at the first attempt). Cons: ventilation is a problem. Firstly it was HOT in the room during my stay, the city was 28 degrees outside and the window was out of order (or maybe it is blocked delibrately), so there was little to no air flow in the room, I had to use my shoe to keep the door open to get some fresh air. There is a Dyson fan, it helped a bit but I think the room should have either air conditioning installed or a proper working window, especially for summer. I seriously cannot imagine how one can live in the room if the weather is even hotter. Not just the room, the toilet also has no ventilation, so steam cannot get out, and the floor got really wet after shower because the water would "leak" out from the shower and i dont see any drain on the toilet floor, and then since there is no ventilation so water didnt dry out even after one full day, my wet towels also couldnt dry out. I know the cons seem long but it's the one thing from keeping this hotel from being perfect.

Fint rom, fin beliggenhet men problemer med inn- og utsjekk. Mange mailer i forkant. Mange koder og måtte angi eksakte klokkeslett for inn og utsjekk, flere dager i forveien. Jeg kom 20 min. for tidlig og det var visstnok et problem? Hvorfor må jeg få 3-4 koder og så godt gjemt i siste mail, adgangskode til bygning og rom og først da, romnr.

Spare yourself of a nasty surprise and Avoid at all cost!! Dirty rooms, including trash on the floor (crisps, dust, even a used «snus» ie tobacco). Clearly not been cleaned or dusted off for many stays. See pictures of the floor for proof (hard to illustrate just how nasty it was, but you can see it wasn’t clean at all). When confronted with this, they did not change the room nor refund the payment. Very poor service and not able to make any signs of good will when I decided to leave and book another hotel. Not coming back and hope everyone that reads this books somewhere else. There are plenty of good options you should book instead.

Husband cut his leg on the broken bed frame of the pull out couch. Property denied knowing of the issue even though their tape had been used to fixed other broken parts of the bed. We asked for compensation but they felt a beer and letting us know where the first aid kit was enough. Wife had a lengthy conversation with the manager and felt guilted into a minor amount of compensation, one she continuously said we were lucky to get. Husband called back and the manager completely changed her tone saying that the cut wasn’t even that bad and we were making this into a big deal. Worst part was, the height that the broken frame was at was eye level to our 10 month old son who had been crawling around and pulling himself up on the bed frame. Manager was unsympathetic to the potential and danger this posed to both our children. We also found magnets on the ground which are also extremely dangerous safety hazards to our children. Not impressed with this facilities way of handling dangerous situations for their guests and families. We will never be staying at a Bob W. facility ever again.

Et veldig greit opphold. Bra rom. Bra seng. Sentralt. Eneste jeg vil sette fingeren på, er at en må bruke web-sida deres for å låse opp rommet. Slet et par ganger med å få det til å fungere.

This is a great, no frills hotel right in the centre id town and close to everythi g you need and might want to see. All the doors and locks are operated by smartphone, through their website, which is a bit daunting if you haven't used a system like this before, and can cause a little bit of battery-anxiety, but ultimately it works very well. While I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, I was touched by the card they left in my room for my birthday. The area itself is a bit loud, with revellers walking down the road from the pubs round the corner, and can be heard from indoors if you're at the front of the building, but this is to be expected in such a central location (as an aside, I didn't hear a peep from the other guests in the hotel)

Bob W is a cute and quirky option in an excellent location in downtown Oslo. I love the little Whatsapp messages and the whole vibe of their concept. French press and kettle in the room are also super appreciated. As someone who travels to Oslo often for business, I can highly recommend this not only for that purpose, but also for pleasure due to the ideal location right in the heart of shopping, restaurants and the 5 minute walk proximity to Central Station. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. This hotel has no reception but they give you all the information you need on WhatsApp. It was easy to check in and get into the hotel. My room was spotless and even had a welcome note. The free plunger coffee and tea was lovely too. Also there is a gym nearby that you can use it for free. The wifi was quick and there is a fridge in the room. The location is great just 5 minutes from Oslo Station.

I booked for 1person, the sofa was made for a bed and I had to struggle to put it together to be able to sit somewhere. Glasses in room not all clean. Breakfast I bought through reservation was not worth! 2 cafés option - non of them opened before 8 (there was other alternatives to choose yourself/pay again, both closer and opening earlier). Location was great.

Room is very clean and spacious for two people. Well equipped with toiletries etc, useful to have power sockets on both sides of the bed. We didn't choose breakfast, but note that breakfast is a voucher to use at nearby cafe. Comfy bed. I would stay here again.

Die Ausstattung war perfekt mit Tee, Kaffee, Snack, Besteck, Wasserkocher im Zimmer und diversen Utensilien in Bad. Die Lage: insgesamt ruhige Straße (abgesehen von Bauarbeiten gegenüber). Um die Ecke nur zu " KÖ" Oslos und 300 m zum Bahnhof. Das Personal sehr freundlich, verständisvoll, hilfsbereit. Nicht so gut: in meiner Ankunftsnacht war niemand erreichbar, auch telefonisch nicht. Ich hätte Schwierigkeiten in mein Zimmer zu kommen, da mein Smartphone streikte... Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer wurde immer heißer, war also kaputt zudem mit Schimmel innen. Summa summarum: ich würde wieder dieses Hotel buchen, war sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl.

First time checking into a hotel without a reception and human intervention. Responsive staff on call, everything was setup perfectly. Only negative was the room location which looked out into a construction. The location was excellent with most of the major sightseeing places close by. The hotel per se was clean and hygienic with all basic amenities. The beds were good, Linen excellent. A fan was provided as Oslo was really warm ! Tea coffee etc were provided however without milk. The hotel had a tie up with two cafés for the breakfast buffet at 150 NOK , which was a good option but expensive.

I loved this place: location, cleanliness which is very important for me, gluten free opportunities for breakfast, laundry room and luggage room. I wish every place I travel to has a hotel like this. I booked the twin bed room and it was perfect for me. It had everything I needed and the bed was wider than a twin bed I slept in before. The mattress and pillow were extremely comfortable

Hotel is at the heart of Oslo city center and really close to everything. Rooms were a bit small but alright if you only have a hand luggage otherwise no space for bigger luggage. It’s very convenient that they have luggage room I could use until late in the evening on the check out day. Checking in and checking out was really easy.

A very nice hotel in the center of Oslo, no staff in place but very easy to check-in, get into the door with the app and a very nice room! I Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with shampoo and conditioner which is rare at this level of price. I loved all the extras: a tea kettle, the coffee pot, a yoga mat, a camera to borrow to take pictures, a fan, blanket etc. I'm coming back!

Clean room, easy access etc but the room I had was on the ground floor, with zero functional ventilation and a window to a nearby alley with 4 (!) Aircon Units running outside - literally 1 meter from my window. Stuffy and hot and a windows that can't be open during the night. Needless to say I didn't sleep much.
